Trevor was personable but professional. He checked out the job and then gave us two options as to how he could do the job. He set the appointment and arrived as scheduled. He fixed the problem that he was hired for; unfortunely another problem cropped up that we will hire him to fix.His work was done in a timely manner. He cleaned up after himself. I hired Birds Nest Renovation for tiling, flooring, painting and light carpentry. He was very unprofessional and the damage done to my home is more than he charged me for service. I work from home and my customers got to hear (name removed) yell the F word at the top of his lungs on more than one occasion. He doesn't show up when he's supposed to. I have him on recording saying he is going to steal my caulking. He threatened me into giving him $1000.00 before work was completed, claiming he only had a couple of touch ups to do upstairs. He said he would walk off the job, if I did not give him the money. I also have him admitting this on recording. I was scared and gave it to him. I did not want to have to start the process all over. He ended up having to redo most of the flooring upstairs. Which resulted in more flooring that had to be used. Unbeknownst to me, the second round of flooring he damaged the casings upstairs. Put a hole in my door, said he would fix it, did a shotty patch job. He painted the downstairs hallway, living room/dining room and kitchen which has countless holidays(spots missed.) Attempted to address the spots missed several times and his last response was he feels he did 450 worth of painting. That's the second I realized he had no intention of correcting or completing the job. Painted places that were supposed to be white, the wall color. Got paint on my countertops in the kitchen, paint in the kitchen sink and paint on my shelf in the kitchen. Casing downstairs that he got permission to do (did not give permission to touch any casings upstairs,) doesn't look like a professional did them. Got paint on my flooring. Stairs done incorrectly. Caulking on the wall through out my home, and baseboards do not look professionally done. The tiling is crooked, the gap between tile and tub is going to create moisture issues. When I asked him to grout the gap he refused. I got estimates for the bath tub refinishing as it was filthy. The gentleman let me know there were fresh scratches and stained with black grout. He doesn't pick up after himself. Due to his negligence I found myself in the emergency room, for a tetanus shot. Black finger prints on two of my doors upstairs. Scrubbed the dirt off my walls in the master bedroom, which I had just painted. Need to be scrubbed and touched up again. The closet right across from my master bath is full of dirt. I painted it twice. Before he started work and during. I trusted him and once I realized the damage he did and after the 450 remark, I notified him and told him I no longer want him at my home as the damage he did is quite extensive. I've had quite a few estimates and each person that sees the work Trevor did is far from impressed.

Trevor did an excellent job cleaning our deck/patio areas (500SF of stamped concrete, 400 SF of Eon composite decking). Decking: 20 yrs old. Stamped concrete: 30 yrs old. He power washed the surfaces with a 2700 PSI power washer. Pwr washing removed the loose sealer, dirt, dust etc. He applied terracotta red & brown Quikcrete color product (Home Depot or Amazon). He also applied the brown Quikcrete product to highlight the grout lines which gives the appearance of flagstone. He followed with 2 coats of Behr sealer & applied 303 Aerospace Protectant (Amazon) to the Eon deck. The 303 Product really brings the “oak color” & wood grain. Trevor also re-stained the Hot tub wood, wood bench, & vertical surfaces (posts, paneling etc). See the enclosed pics for details. Pay close attention to the Co Spgs weather. Sealers can take a few hrs to dry.

Trevor is exactly the kind of professional I want working for me. He was responsive, polite, on time, and thorough. Best of all no task was too small for him. He was always communicative and his work was perfect. Trevor is very much the professional.
