I've used Bestview twice on our house and had them replace almost all of the windows. I appreciate it being a small company where the owner comes out to give you an estimate. They're professional, with a good and friendly crew, and did the work quickly and neatly.

The team did a fabulous job once the job began. It did take time to get started. I waited for a month and a half for it to get started. The good side to that is he did give me an approximate time frame due to his case load and was very close. They were respectful and you felt comfortable with their demeanor. They definitely do an excellent job however make sure it is scheduled way in advanced. Overall I would definitely recommend them.

I loved them; they were great. They were clean and not typically messy that I would see from another contractor coming in. They kind of cleaned as they went while they were doing the interior work on the house. They have a very clean work environment. It was a very good company that had very responsive customer service. Their price was good.

They did a great job on a large picture window in our front room. I paid half up front, then only half of the second half and have 30 days to pay the balance. The window was done beautifully! I'm very happy withe Bestview. Did a huge picture window and bedroom window in only 4hrs. Awesome job!

He doesn't want to repair screens as part of the job. Didn't contact me for months after I gave him a deposit for two windows and some minor trim replacement. He sent a subcontractor to replace the windows after I contacted him several times and months went by. The sub said the glass was the wrong thickness and he didn't want to install it because I would have problems later. I cancelled the deposit check after my first failed attempt to contact him.

Bestview was very responsive to any phone calls or emails and were more than helpful with any questions I had. I purchased all the materials and had "creative" input, but all installation was done by Bestview. Very friendly crew and would absolutely use again.

I got two bids and they were high. They seemed fine and the person who came out seemed professional. They were on time and prompt with the quote. There were no negatives. They were really good.

It worked well and I have used them in the past. The installers were very good and did excellent work. They cleaned up after themselves well and are very friendly. They were always prompt and were here on time. The owner of the company came out to do the estimate and was very cordial. Their pricing was very good in comparison to other places we looked into.

They were good. They're efficient, they came in, they put the windows in and cleaned everything up and they did a good job. We didn't have any problems with the windows and patio doors. They were kind of high priced but they weren't as high as the Champion Windows, Champion was too high.

The visit for doing the estimate went quickly and he was very professional. I would have liked a more detailed estimate and more options.

When I requested an estimate, Gary was very quick to come out and look at the windows. I was concerned about energy efficiency and didn't really understand the options available and he took a good deal of time to explain the features of the windows he recommended. I appreciated his quick response to subsequent questions while we were waiting for the windows to arrive. He was always very pleasant and happy to ease my mind. Once the windows arrived, he scheduled the installation that week. The windows were installed in a very professional manner and all debris was removed from the premises. This was a very smooth transaction for me. Gary made all measurement and installation appointments directly with my tenants which I really appreciated. My tenants could tell the windows were a great improvement the first day. They told me they had been able to hear each other through the old closed windows and couldn't anymore. Plus the two rooms were warmer. I will definitely call Gary when I am able to replace the back windows.

From Gary's first estimate to the last window install everything was very professional!!!

The overall experience was excellent. They were prompt and courteous. The job was done well and we are very happy with our new windows.

His bid was lower than any others that we got. We were so pleased with the person who came out to do the install. We are really happy with it all. These windows make a huge difference with the temperature inside the house, keeping it more even. They even cut down on the outside noise. The installer knew what he was doing, he was very competent. He went above and beyond the call of duty, helping me with design choices and even customer fitting a smaller window into a larger opening.

Gary and his crew were very professional and clean. You can hardly tell that they were here except that my home looks 100% better with the repaired siding. I am just so pleased and the price was within my budget.

The job is 100% excellent and I could not be happier with the job. The area was cleaned and you would never would have known that Gary and his crew was there, except that my siding was fixed and looking wonderful!

Everything went great!

Gary provided me with a quote for window replacements in a 4-plex that I own. He was prompt and courteous. The bid was simple and direct, but short on details, like what model and style of windows -- sliders vs double hung, etc. I called and we talked about those details. His bid was actually about $8k, and the other bid I got was $10k. I think by the time his bid was corrected to include all the things that would be needed but which were left off of the bid, they would have been much closer, but I’ll never know for certain. The other bidder put significantly more effort into insuring that he was bidding what I wanted, rather than the cheapest item in the book. For example, four of the windows were in bathrooms, thus they needed to be frosted glass. They were also inside the tub enclosures, so they must be tempered glass as well. Neither of those required options were in Gary’s bid, and would thusly have been a surprise – I don’t really like surprises after I get bids, but since I pretty well knew what I was doing already, from doing this on other properties, I was prepared for that additional cost. However… Double (or single) hung windows are the style that would look architecturally correct in the building, but the living-room windows were way too wide to make just one “hung” window fit. I asked Gary how I should go about dealing with that, and the best he could come up with was to use a big slider there, mixed with hung windows elsewhere on the building. It seemed like Gary just ruled out other options that would cost a few hundred dollars more, but make a huge difference in appearance. Even after I expressed that the mixing sliders and hung windows on the building was something I wanted to avoid, the best idea he could come up with was to use really tall narrow sliders on the rest of the building. The result of course would just be an ugly building. The other bidder provided more options for the wide living room windows, including using two hung windows side-by-side with a connector down the seam – a solution that costs a couple hundred bucks, but makes a huge difference in appearance. Bottom Line: Gary was just too focused on having the low bid at any cost. It isn’t worth spending $9k for an ugly result, when $10k buys you a really nice one. So I went with the other vendor, and will have a much better result for a small amount (if any) more expense. If I had a crappy-old-trailer-house, however, BestView Windows would be just the vendor for me, since he does know how to find the lowest priced solution. I’ve had bid (and replaced) many brands of windows over the years, and I have never seen any lower than BestView’s prices.

I hired Gary to install a door that I had purchased from Lowe's. His price was very reasonable and cheaper than Lowe's installation charge. His installers did a great job and were very professional! I plan to hire him again in a month to replace all of my windows, put on vinyl siding, install new gutters, and build a deck. I will rate him again once this work is completed. I hope to be pleased with his work again!

I was very impressed by their knowledge and professionalism as well as their price - their price was lower than another estimate I received for the same brand of windows. I ultimately chose another contractor because I like their product better but was very impressed by Bestview.

We were ecstatic. We looked them up on Angie's List after we found them. We called a few places in the phone book. We had 2 people come out and do quotes for us and we decided on them. That was the point that I joined Angie's List. Gary was great and he was really flexible. He did a lot of stuff beyond what we discussed when we had the estimate done. We were really pleased with the final job. Their bid was better than the other estimate that we got. I absolutely would use them again in the future.

With the earlier experience, it required the installation technicians to spend far more time to complete the job than they had originnally planned. This was because of its difficulty. It also required adjusting the spaces all around. The end product was perfect. I could not have asked for a better job.

Gary worked around my schedule to come out and measure the window. The delivery and install was exactly when he said, and the results looked great. Gary also helped me find other contractors to do some unrelated work.
