BEDROSIANS

I tend to be quick to give good reviews and generally let the less positive experiences pass. However, this was THE MOST BIZARRE shopping experience I've ever had! I'm on the hunt for tile for 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen back splash. I have visited several stores with varying customer service models. Every place I've been has been helpful, even if they couldn't sell directly to me because they wholesaled to tile professionals. I walked into Bedrosians because my granite fabricator had mentioned them in the same breath as Capco Tile and Stone (no comparison). I was impressed by their showroom as it was quite extensive. On the other hand customer service was the worst I can remember any place that I've been. When I walked in no one looked up or acknowledged my presence. There were 3 people at a counter talking among themselves. They laughed and joked and pecked at their computers. No one ever approached me and asked if they could help me. I was there 30 minutes and the only time someone said anything to me was when I asked where the bathroom was. They at least told me that! I wandered around and then just gave up. I left and no one acknowledged that either. I felt I walked into some business that was not about selling anything. Frankly I don't know why they have a storefront. If they only deal with tile professionals then there should be a sign out front saying we don't want any customers in here - go somewhere else. For a fancy showroom they didn't have a single salesperson who wanted to sell anything. It was actually kind of creepy having such a large showroom and the feeling that no one gave a darn if you were in there or not. I don't know who they are selling to, but evidently not to customers that just walk in their front doors.

Four total visits, and each time it was very difficult to get any help to answer our questions. Yes, they have a large, beautiful showroom, but appear to be greatly understaffed. The employees who finally offered assistance had very poor attitudes and seemed "put out" that we might need help. This attitude seemed to carry through all the way to the loading dock when we requested help to load the very heavy tile boxes in our car. Their showroom hours made it very difficult for people who work during the week. We won't be back and will not recommend them.
