Poorly. They broke a hood hinge and scratched the paint. Theb=n they lied to me.

Excellent. I turned my car in first thing in the morning. They got to my car immediately. They suggested that we update our brakes and everything else is okay.

Bear Automotive refunded the payment for the water pump they installed without my asking for any compensation. They admitted there mistake and apologized and I am grateful for their professionalism. The leak was fixed by the dealer and so far I have had no further leak problems. I would definitely consider Bear Automotive for future business because of their honesty.

Excellent. They figured out I got some air into my gas tank and replaced the gas cap for me. Bear exceeds my expectations with trustworthy, friendly, quality and valuable service. In my son's words, "they are beyond superb" with their service and care of our clunker Nissan. They treat us like family and go above and beyond industry standards when it comes to car maintenance/repair. We have been using them for years and they are always patient, considerate, thorough and economical. You really can't go wrong with choosing Bear and I wouldn't ever consider going elsewhere. In addition, their work is insured so you get added protection and warranty if you ever need it.

Bear Automotive and staff were phenomenal in repairing a transfer case on my son's car. They did a thorough estimate at no cost and were upfront on the estimate and all the details of work to be done and upfront that the price could vary once they were able to remove and evaluate the issue. Sharie was awesome in keeping me up to date on the progress and coordinating the exceptional work done. I have found an honest place that performs outstanding work and I recommend them to anyone looking for the same.

Overall, very well. They experienced issues receiving the replacement part, which caused a delay in getting the work completed. However, once this became known, they offered a loaner vehicle while the work was completed. They were in near constant contact and kept us informed throughout. Very professional and worth the time.

There is a reason why Bear gets such great reviews; because they earn them with quality service and integrity. My teenage son was anxious for me to write this review because he was so impressed with their service and finds them to be trustworthy and reputable - something he has not yet seen in his previous experience with auto repair/service. Bear treats you like family not only in a hospitable way, but also with the value it seems they would want their own family to receive. I have been going to them for years. They go above and beyond customary standards for auto repair and service. My son was impressed with the technician who helped a customer fix something completely unrelated to his repair that was just paid for, just out of courtesy and to help the customer. That kind of service is typical of Bear. They go out of their way to do little things for you to just make your experience positive. It's not uncommon to have the owners come out and update you on your service or show you progress on your car. They also research the most reasonable and practical solution for your kind of problem that doesn't break your budget. I love Cherie (Sorry, if I got the name wrong) who just makes the whole process smooth and efficient and goes out of her way to make sure my needs are accommodated (including making sure I have transportation to pick up my son from work!! while waiting for my car repair). I love that their work is warrantied and insured so you, the consumer, gets the benefit of extra roadside assistance when needed and quality control on previous repair work. They are remarkably knowledgeable and skilled in their field. With that said, no one is perfect, and of all the repairs completed, I have only had one that didn't work for me. But in good fashion, the owner fixed it himself to make sure the repair was done correctly and I am satisfied. Bear lives up to their motto of "Honesty, Integrity, and Value." I also think it rocks that they have female technicians!

other than taking longer than quoted I was well pleased with the service.

First problem resolved very fast; SUV exhaust hanger by the headers had bounced off causing an exhaust leak and as much noise as a v8 running glass packs. The second service item was equally fast considering the amount of time it takes to get to the timing belt area. I had them fix the normal wear and tear items... The local GM dealership wanted a bit more dollars and a lot more time to fit me in their schedule.

The wife loves that her car actually runs better with the new injectors. Bear found a vendor that guaranteed the injectors for three year. Bear done good!

Front desk lady was super nice and helpful both over the phone and in person. Didn't question their honesty once. Dropped my car off and a little while later, I got a call with what needed to be fixed. They got it done within a few hours and I was on my way. Very reasonable price, too.

Excellent! I had taken my vehicle to a couple different mechanics. Both said they were unable to locate the problem and could not help me. My 1998 F150 would typically start and run fine 99% of the time, but maybe a couple times a month would not start at all or start and then not re-start leaving me stranded. Bear Automotive was patient enough to go out and start the truck daily until it finally failed to start as I had reported. After a couple weeks they were able to isolate the problem and got it fixed very quickly at that point. Price seems reasonable for the services performed. Very happy and would highly recommend.

I called the morning prior to try and get an appointment, and they were great at being able to work their schedule to accommodate my schedule. Since I had to wait there, they had me in and out in just a couple hours...including waiting on the parts to be delivered. Thank you.

Overall, the work was excellent. The job was completed in less than 2 hours. So far to date (3 weeks later) ,the brakes are working properly and no squealing to report.

Very friendly staff. I called last week and was able to pick my time and day for the appointment. The lady answering phones was able to give a quote or replacing both locks, if that was the issue. The problem was diagnosed, discussed, and replaced. The only change in price was even less than initially quoted, plus Angie's list discount. I saved over $100 dollars going to Bear compared to the dealer. The job took over two hours, but the great play area and bear decorations all over, made the time pass easily with my very busy two year old. Thank you.

As a female with limited knowledge about auto repairs it was important for me to find an auto service that I could trust. I recently had my Rogue inspected by Nissan and left with a long list of costly recommended repairs/services. I attempted to do research and completed a couple of the services for a fraction of the cost. There were several items I could absolutely not do on my own and after a lot of research I found Bear Automotive. I'm glad I did. The staff was great, the owner himself came out to explain what I really needed as opposed to what wasn't necessary (most of what Nissan recommended). They saved me a lot of money and frustration. Bear Automotive, a company who stands behind their word, their work, and their people. I bought a 2001 4x4 Pathfinder 8 months ago. I knew then it needed front brakes AND rotors because when the brakes got warm, the rotors squealed! New to C. Springs from Franktown, I didn't want to travel back and forth to Douglas County or Denver for repairs. So I started the search. Based on ALL the POSITIVE A.L. reviews, AND a 10% off coupon for 1st timers, it was worth a call to Bear Automotive for an estimate. I liked what they quoted and arrived about 9 am the next day. Upon arriving, Deb the owner's wife, sat behind the desk and greeted me. They have black bears everywhere in the office. Proudly displayed on the wall are 6 or 7 Angie's List Awards too. The waiting area is clean and inviting with fresh coffee available. Larry, the mechanic and part owner, came out. We chatted about the brakes, the rotors, the time frame, and the quoted price. I visited the lady's room which was also clean and smelled nice. Off I went for a walk about. Then about 45 minutes later I walked back to the shop to see how the job was progressing. Don, the owner, greeted me and informed me, "The job would take an additional 90 minutes to 2 hours longer because they had to pull the bearings, and the bearings had to be repacked. The quoted price," he said, "is not correct either." My first thought, "OMG." That will add an additional 1 to 2 hours of labor and at least that much more in cost. "Let's not repack the bearings." I said. I closed my eyes and thought, "This 'good deal' just became very expensive!" Then Don, with a smile on his face explained, "There is no choice. To get the rotors off, the bearings HAVE to come off. We have to repack them." But he said, "We will NOT charge you for the extra time to pull the bearings and repack them. It was our fault. We did not quote you correctly. We missed it, and We ALWAYS stand behind our quotes." "Ok" I'm thinking, they probably won't take the 10% 1st timer coupon. He read my mind. "It's Ok", he said still smiling, "You will get 10% off the price." They finished faster than expected. After they took it for a test drive, they hopped out adjusted the REAR BRAKES. Someone else installed the rear brakes and didn't set them correctly. No CHARGE for that adjustment! What a great team! I asked Deb about ALL the Bears in the office. She said customers have brought their cars to them for many, many years. When those customers travel and they find a bear at a yard or rummage sale, they bring back to Bear Automotive. People forget, that every time you step on your brake pedal, those brakes SAVE YOUR LIFE. IF they are done correctly! The QUALITY OF A BUSINESS IS the PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE. THE QUALITY OF THE FINISHED JOB IS THE PRIDE OF THE PEOPLE WHO PERFORM IT. WHETHER THEY FRY BURGERS, PERFORM HEART SURGERY, OR REPAIR CARS, the quality of their work is a testament to the pride in their job well done! People make MISTAKES. HONORABLE PEOPLE STAND UP AND ADMIT A MISTAKE AND HONOR THEIR WORD! Don did that today. Bear Automotive is a company comprised of PEOPLE I CAN TRUST WITH MY CAR AND WITH MY LIFE! I could have saved $125.00 before I bought my 4x4.
