About us
As well with boat and auto upholstery, we also specialize in fabricating custom hot tub/spa covers. As well as other small upholstery jobs if we see fit. We make everything that we work on right here in our shop. We are very busy in the summer, so we have special deals in the fall and winter because we aren't as busy. We are a very small business with only four employees. We are mainly a family business with the father being the business owner/boss and his two children are two of the employees. And the other employee that we have used to babysit the other employees when they were younger, so we are all basically a family here. If you have any questions you are always free to call. We do not really have set hours like a normal business. If we could help you, we would love to! And we would certainly appreciate your business!

As a bonus I also left my Jeep top that I had torn a corner apart on. That was expertly put back together too for a reasonable price.
that I could reach out to the center of the tub and just by firmly pressing there the cover could be easily bent. Again, not so the old cover. (Note that the old foam was nearly 18 years old.) We felt that a heavy snowfall would likely break the foam. I called Aquatech to voice my concerns: 1. the foam was denting where the old one hadn't 2. we didn't believe the cover could support a heavy snow load and 3.the cover was not closing properly. Mr. Baker suggested that we let him install tie downs to make the cover stay down and a strap to keep it from blowing open. I reminded him that our past experience had shown that the wind would
tear off a tie down strap. We also felt tie downs to make the cover fit well shouldn't be necessary if it were made properly. He never acknowledged it was possible his product could be at fault or that we had valid complaints. He only insisted his tie down / strap
remedies were all that he could offer. He also asserted that we were misusing the cover and that we shouldn't expect the rock not to dent it. We felt that his remedies were not addressing our concerns nor did his product even meet our expectations and asked that we be allowed to return the cover. He grudgingly permitted that but then charged a and quot;restockingand quot; fee of $170.00 that was nearly 50% of the $370.00 purchase price even though the cover was in like new condition with the exception of the above mentioned dents. After all it was only in use for 9 days. We feel we were not treated fairly and that Aquatech stands so far behind its product that any that any assertion they will exceed your expectations is not valid.
"We do pride ourselves in our ability to exceed our customer's expectations. Of the thousands of these hot tub covers that we have manufactured, this is the first one that has asked for a refund. Normally, most customers will give us an opportunity to solve their problem with our work. In this case, my attempts to offer it, no charge, to properly install the hot tub cover, which is required by our warranty policy, to insure proper fit and long years of service were not followed because the customer insisted that he did not want tie down straps. The restocking few was incurred on any custom made product that won't be able to be resold for $370 because hot tubs come in all different shapes and sizes. Our only remedy is to try and resell this cover as used for $100 incurring a $100 Llosa plus our time to measure and deliver it. As you can see by our other reviews, we have many satisfied customers and thank you ffor the opportunity to tell our side of the story."
