I just moved in and called the service for a quote. I was told the service was familiar with this property and had serviced at this location before. I was quoted $35 for the mow and trim and $35 for the weed treatment and fertilization. I wasn't home when the service came. I left my husband with $70 and the approximate time the service would arrive. They arrived on time. The lawn looks fine for the service having spent about half an hour on it. It would've taken me an hour for sure. Upon completion, the service knocked on the door and informed my husband it would cost $125. When I got home, I called the service and asked for an explanation and was told "That's how much it cost." When I asked for a $55 refund per the difference between the quote and the cost, I was told that wasn't their policy. I would not recommend this service because of the difference between the quote and the actual cost. The service said they were familiar with the property and had performed services here before, so there should have been no discrepancy between quote and cost.

I may a verbal contract with this company to mow, bag and trip my lawn. When I ask if he'd like to come out an see the property I was told they had done this lawn for a previous owner an was given a price of $28.00. The first 3 times they performed the service I was, for the most part, happy. I received my first bill and saw I was charged $30.00. This was not totally out of line with what I thought it was worth so I paid anyway. The last two times they were here the grass was not bagged, and edging was spotty. I called and left a message that I was not happy on May 4, 2012. I heard nothing. Today I was home when they were completing the job and noticed the grass wasn't bagged in the back yard. I mentioned this to the older man, very nice gentleman, an was told they could do it but it would cost more. I mentioned the agreement I had with his company and was told he was only a worker. I called American Turf &n Treecare an was told they'd need more money. I reminded him of the his agreement and he said I was getting a good price as it was and yes it would cost more if I wanted them to bag the grass. I told them not to come back. This company does not honor their agreements. Their work is good but not great.

I had used them last year. They scheduled things pretty quickly. The man who came out was very nice. They were prompt and had left an invoice. The trees look good. I didn’t have a problem with them.

They are very conscientious. They keep track of the lawn. They will let us know if the lawn needs anything and will get the work done.
