I am always weary of hiring sub-contractors because some make certain promises but then don't keep them. LONNIE was so professional and information. We could tell he knew what he was doing right off the bat! He gave us some great ideas on how to do the HVAC in our new basement. Hiring him was an easy decision! Lonnie and his team have been so kind and had great work ethics. THEN CAME the CREW, JOSH AND NICK!! They were the nicest guys I could want to work in my house. After they were done, they had run a vent to the wrong location (that was not their fault) - but when I told them, they decided to stay and re-arrange it to the location where I wanted it placed. They did it with a smile and said, " whatever it takes to make it right." That kind of customer service just doesn't exist anymore. I recommend them all HIGHLY for your professional air conditioning services or installations.

Lonnie and his team are outstanding in customer service, honesty and integrity. Lonnie has been our go to guy working with us on many projects. You certainly will be hiring the best.

We had our entire furnace replaced and new central air conditioning installed by this company. The level of professionalism and quality of work is something you don't see very often, these days. The team was conscientious, clean (they made sure there were no messes when they left and were mindful of when they were coming in the home from outside), hardworking, and they were very customer-focused, making sure to explain what it is they had done, and how things work. Lonny and his team did such a great job and we are so happy with our new system. It actually helped our home appraise higher for a refinance! Thank you Altitude Heating and Air!

We are renters due to being military and have been residing in this property for 6 years. Last month my AC stopped working. It was in the 90's and my baby was sick with croup. He gets croups a lot. We woke up and the house was very hot so we called our property management company (as required per our lease agreement) and they called the Altitude Heating & Air to come out. The owner named Lonnie came out and claimed that my dog chewed the wires. He repaired it within minutes and for a few dollars. I'd like to note that I've had this dog for 8 years and he has never done this so it came to a shock to me. So I asked if it could possibly be something else like mice, erosion since it is exposed to the elements, or possibly the neighbors dog who I catch in my yard often. He said possibly all of the above. Yesterday my unit stopped working again...the heater also. So I did the same thing and called my company and said I will be paying out of pocket for this if it is my dog that is chewing the wires so please bill me. They sent the SAME company out and Earl came to my home. He checked the unit and determined that it was a fuse that blew on the heater and not the wires. He rushed out to leave and I said, "Ok but what about the AC? Is that fixed too?" So I asked him to check that and we determined it was not working. So he called his manager (Lonnie) who told him a long story about me giving the same story about my son being sick and that my dogs were responsible. He told him he would not come out the next day (even though the website says they are open on Sat) because he thought I was lying. So Earl got off the phone and then told me he couldn't fix it today and would be out next week and to speak with Lonnie. He also told me that Lonnie called my property management company and they told him to not fix the unit. So I called Lonnie to try to understand what just occurred and he says, "Ma'am, I don't work for renters, so I don't have to fix your unit. I came out last month for this SAME reason and you are a total liar! You told me the last time I came out that your son was sick with a fever and your dog chewed the wires. Same story. My son has MS and when he's sick he looks sick. Your son didn't look sick at all so I think you are lying!" So I said, "Yes, that is what happened. My son was sick when you came out, and is sick again. Can a toddler not be sick twice in 2 months? Not to mention, the reason behind my toddler being sick is none of your concern as a professional." He says, "Not the way your son was sick! He was outside playing and I even took pictures on my phone to prove that you were lying about him being sick!" I said, "You have pictures of my son on your phone?! And you're calling me a liar because my son doesn't 'look sick' to you? And what does it matter if my son was sick twice and my dogs chewed the wires twice??? You are here to fix the unit and my personal life has absolutely zero to do with a work order. I told you I would pay the fee you charge because my dog chewed the wires and it is my responsibility. Having a sick child that needs a heater to work has nothing to do with when you can fix the unit." He then said, "I'm not going to argue with you. I don't work for you. Do what you need to do." So basically, he decided he wasn't going to work on a Saturday (even though their website says they are open on Sat) because I gave an excuse about my son being sick. Which was not true. Whether my son has an illness or not is absolutely NONE of their concern. However, now we are pushing legal lines because he (without my permission) took photographs of my son, in my home and yard, while performing a work order my property management company hired him to do. I will be filing a police report, speaking with my lawyer, and hoping you keep this complaint up so all single mothers of children can feel safe in their home and not hire companies that violate their privacy and impede on sensitive issues.
