Alpha-Crete

We only gave Alpha-Crete a single star because a ZERO was not available. Alpha-Crete did not listen to our requirements, did not listen to our concerns as the job progressed then became viciously aggressive, would not listen to our complaints, would not work with us to repair the harm they had done, will not discount the final price and are going immediately to collection if we do not immediately pay the full sum. Following are the details. Alpha-Crete provided a color chart to choose from and we selected their Desert Beige color, which is a medium brown with hints of red. We thought this would be a reasonable match to our two toned stucco house (a medium beige with a hint of rose and bump-outs in a medium reddish brown). Sid and his assistant arrived to put on the pattern and base coat and we commented on the light color of the base but we were assured the right color would be applied above the base and asked which color we had selected and we told him, Desert Beige. The next day they arrived arrived to put on the finish coat and it was not beige. We commented again and were told that he would be spraying the Desert Beige later and covering it with the sealant and the sealant would further darken the color as it dried. This seemed far-fetched, but we had no choice but to believe him. The next day we got up to check the deck and were appalled to find that he had been lying, nothing had 'darkened' and we are stuck with a hideous yellow (with green overtones!) patio! It is a horrible eye-sore and looks absolutely awful with our pink toned stucco house. We have never had such an awful experience with a contractor before!
