I worked for affordable plumbing for a couple years so I figured knowing guys there i would have them come out.furnace was turning on and would stop for a couple for a couple hrs then work again.knowing a bit about furnaces it pointed to high velocity switch a 30.00 dollar part.tech told me he would pretty much have to replace multiple parts coming to almost 3,000.didnt bother in just replacing swith to see if that was the problem.went and bought the switch and heater now works fine.always have recemonded them but never again.

Lousy. Spent $1000.00 to replace parts & none worked then was told I needed a new unit. Bought a new unit & service contract in summer of 2019 & although the unit is working fine have never had a follow up or service call that was paid for. August of 2020 got a threatening call about a inspection that should have been done a year ago. Worst customer service ever!!

Replaced A/C unit in April 2020 with no issues. However, follow-up scheduling inspection to close permit has been a nightmare. I took 8hrs off work yesterday waiting on an inspector who never showed. According to PPRBD, they were never scheduled by Affordable CO. Try to get these people to directly answer a phone call is nearly impossible. You will get voicemail or the ole let me transfer you to only get someone else's voicemail. It's 21 July 2020 (3 mths after install) and I have not received the final permit inspection.

Capping lines was well and I even had parts ready so that should not have been an issue, But showing up so late and then not completing work or coming back was insulting. IF I don't go to work I don't get paid so I have lost 3 days of pay. Would they suffer the same?

Due diligence and responsive customer service led to Billy discovering the drain issues that were elusive to others. In addition to his obvious competence, Billy was considerate and thorough in his description of the work that needed to be completed and arrived at the time scheduled. In addition, Bill and Cash provided excellent customer service while addressing my concerns. Chester also provided comprehensive assessment and repair on the aging boiler system.

I called Affordable Plumbing a couple days ago. I am so beyond disappointed right now I can't even see straight. On the phone I made it clear we were both disabled veterans and were having a hard time and didn't have a lot of money. I knew I needed a new wax ring in one toilet. Jonas came to our home and took one look at our upstairs toilet and said because the bolts were rusted we could spend $387 on a major rebuild of a 15 year old toilet or have him install a new one for $450. He made this sound like an emergency. I had him look at our other toilet just in case and of course it was the same situation. So... $900. I didn't have it, but they were kind enough to give me 5% off for being a veteran. Among other things they tried to get me to spend an additional $249 so I could get financing. Anyway, so I went to the bank and drained our savings and put part on our credit card. After all that and feeling sick, we have had 3 plumbers tell us we were completely ripped off and should have been given other options. The toilets that were used (Gerber's most basic) probably cost no more than $100 each so... $655 in labor? And I specifically asked about going to Lowe's and getting my own toilet and he told me he would charge $400 to install 2. Now I feel like a complete idiot for even letting them in my home. Very disappointing. I have had 2 plumbers contact me with estimates that prove gouging by $600-700 over and I will be contacting BBB.

We needed a plumber so we called Affordable Plumbing and Heating. The response was fast and friendly. Curtis was GREAT! He was prompt, pleasant and very knowledgeable. He evaluated our problem and gave us our options. We chose to have a new toilet installed. He did the job efficiently and without wasting time, He thoroughly answered all of our questions and even offered some good advice. We will definitely use Affordable Plumbing and Heating again with any future needs. We highly recommend them and especially CURTIS!

Wow! Our furnace crapped out the day after Thanksgiving. They had a guy out later that day to do an estimate and go over our options. Turns out that replacement was the best choice and we scheduled the job. Saturday morning, Adam and Chean showed up, quickly surmised the situation and best options and go to it. They said it would be about 6 hours. Turns out it was closer to 11 (!) hours. They worked in the snow, the wind and the night until it was done and done right! Super comfortable with our new furnace and A/C unit and can't recommend these guys too much! Super great crew, great price, and unheard of work ethic. Great job!

3 months and still no permit issued for the work they performed and when I called the permit department argued with me and continually made excuses for not even requesting a permit. 20 minutes on the phone and I still don't know when my permit will be requested by this company so the work can be inspected and the permit can be issued. I don't know if the work they completed is up to code or not since they won't request a permit even though the price included a permit. How do I know the gas lines and everything is safe for me to be around, there is no permit issued and nobody from this company requesting their work be inspected by regional building.

I did have them clean out the drains, which I cannot do myself, but the low rating is because they quoted me $299.06 - that is not a typo - almost three hundred dollars!!! - to adjust the toilet flapper. Extremely outrageous for a simple adjustment! they were my go-to plumber for years, but never again...

They charged double what other HVAC companies charge,

The repair was completed flawlessly. The price was reduced for customer loyality and for warranty on a previously installed part. I am completely satisfied. Affordable Plumbing and Heat is my go to plumber!

We feared the worse...Dustin was incredibly professional and walked me thru his inspection step-by-step. He identified a minor issue that was easily resolved. I highly recommend this business for your home heating & cooling needs.

No problems. Installer explained what he was doing, took care of everything, and cleaned up afterwards. Only issue is that their dispatcher didn't warn me that there was a $75 fee for someone to come out and provide an estimate. The fee was refunded because I used their company. Note water heater was $1650 including installation. Additional work added to total.

Everything went very smoothly. Every single person from this company are pleasant and happy about their job. That says a lot to me.

Affordable??? A total bill of $452.50 to replace a hot air igniter and clean the flame sensor in 33 minutes of time according to my invoice. I found the igniter online for $22.95 with free shipping. Affordable - not by my standards.

We had a humidifier installed 2 years ago and it worked great. Then we had a water line freeze in the winter and Caleb came out and dug up the line to fix the split in the copper. Then, he rerouted the water line so that we didn't have to worry about it freezing ever again. Goodbye nose-bleeds :)

False advertisement and very expensive, select another repair company which will be half the cost. My Carrier Furnace was cycling often and displayed a fault code. I researched the issue on-line and a known problem with this manufacture pointing to a bad inducer motor. It took the technician over one hour to confirm it was the inducer motor. They have a special offer which states "Free Furnace or A/C Diagnosis ($75 Value) with repair service." on their website. They came back the second day and installed the part that was under warranty in 30 minutes. The charge was $260. They charged the labor hours for the first day and half hour the second day. First day should of been "FREE Diagnosis." Managers told me the charge was really $75 more but the special offer saved me that and the price was really a "good value" at $335. I called another competitor and the total would of been $150 for diagnosis and labor installation. Their manager agreed that they are not "affordable."

We had a nice young guy come out to take a look at our home to see what kind of unit we would need as we didn't have AC before. He sold us a nice reasonable unit and offered us financing which was great. Didn't have to worry about waiting too long because they came out as soon as the financing was approved. Now, out new tenant has reliable AC during the heat of the summer.

Unfortunately a gas line was punctured when preparing for the Pipe Burst repair but the Contractor was able to make the repair and get the gas company approval when the repair was completed. All things considered we were good to go within the scheduled time line.

sink was fine--sewer was outrageously overcharged including work I did not request that they did not perform. Manager unwilling to address issues. $250 for a non-clogged sewer maintenance is 2-3 times what any other place charges.

Excellent service. Exceptional response time I called at 8:30 am and Kurt was here by 11:30. He was courteous, professional, and friendly. He was able to reset the disposal and provide realistic expectations on the remaining life of the disposal. I will be back.

I like their prices and they're honest. They're attentive and will come on the weekend for no extra charge.

He was in and finished in no time. We call them for all of our plumbing needs. They are always there when I need them. Never wait more than a day for them to come and fix my problems.
