+ 3 moreJeff was the first to respond in all phases of the contracting process to include the estimate and follow-up questions. His estimate numbers were fair and his recommendations on materials, colors, and construction options indicated his ample experience and professional judgement. He was also adaptable to small requests throughout the process, which he was amenable to because he is a good contractor as well as a good person. He was very respectful while in the house and protective of our belongings like they were his own. His subs also seemed to be very nice gentleman. All in all we are very happy with the improvements to our home and will refer to Jeff for future jobs and recommendations.
Description of Work: Jeff built two decks (8x8, 10x12), bathroom floor and wall tile, and partial basement finish.

+ 0 moreIt went better than I expected. Jeff was prompt with the plans and the price came out exactly as he said it would. He worked at a steady pace and got more accomplished than I thought he would. This was during the rainy spell we had and he was here every day it didn't rain, even some weekends. He works very hard for his clients and is very honest and pleasant. In fact, I am hiring him to tile some floors in my house. He measured for them and 3-4 hours later he had a price for me. I would highly recommend him to do any kind of job you need done.

+ -1 moreJeff was great to work with at the beginning, but I believe they are busier than they can handle at this time. We first started working with him in July and we were told it would be about 6-8 weeks before they would be able to start. By November and interviewing another 5 contractors we decided to go with someone else. His pricing was great and he gave a great proposal, but unfortunately couldn't give us a hard start date after waiting for months.
Description of Work: Affinity provided a master bathroom quote and plan.

Description of Work: They built a sunroom onto a pre existing deck. Jeff and his crew have done a wonderful job. The addition is flawless and matches the existing architecture perfectly. He is a perfectionist and will not stop until everything is right. He and his crew left a tidy job site every day, were always here when they said they would be and were courteous and respectful of the homeowners privacy. He kept us informed of changes that had to be made and we were always part of the design process. He even let our dog out to potty and played ball for a few minutes when we couldnt make it home one saturday. Affinity came in more than $10, 000 lower than a big name company with a more cookie cutter product. No regrets, if we are ever in need of another contractor Jeff will be our first phone call.
