A&B Peak Cleaning

I'm not happy leaving a bad review. Often times if I don't like something I just leave it alone but I decided to leave a review b/c I thought using Home Advisor & Angie's List would prevent from bad service. Clearly I was wrong. I called Amanda b/c I needed to get my condo rent ready and it needed a deep clean. I asked her if she could come view the unit and she said it's not necessary they'll look at it when they get there. First mistake. When Brittany came to clean she seemed unaware of what all the job entailed. She came around noon and left at 215. If one person is cleaning it should be an all day job at least 4hrs. Amanda asked if the place was empty which it was of furniture and boxes. There were a few things in the kitchen that were getting donated so I left them in the cupboard. None of which should have been an issue but apparently it was. All that aside I paid for that days "work" and was willing to let them come back the next day to finish and was led to believe (after talking and texting with Amanda) that they were. Needless to say they did not come back nor did they follow up. It's their choice just like it's mine if we want to continue working together, but not responding (after they said they would) was unprofessional to say the least. This happened a week ago (3.10.21) I purposefully waited before leaving a review for a follow up just in case something happened on their end that they were unable to do so but still nothing so here I am. My suggestion for A&B moving forward is to perhaps follow up w/a written recap of the requested service so both parties are on the same page and simply follow up even if you cannot perform the duties for whatever reason. I would have left the whole situation alone (and not left a review) if someone would have simply followed up with me. It's OK to say "We can't do it or we can't help you."
