Phil surveyed and quoted the project, made a great recommendation as to color, and scheduled the work to accommodate our project needs. He and his crew completed the job the very next day. Outstanding! Phil responded quickly to our request for a quote, arriving the next day, thoroughly explaining the process. The quoted included painting all surfaces in the master bedroom, bath and walk-in closet to include trim & doors. We also asked Phil and his team to install some trim and do wall repair / texturing prior to painting. I was extremely happy with the results. Mr. McHenry has a keen eye for matching and choosing colors, and he is a perfectionist. When the delivered paint wasn't the precise color I had chosen he returned to the paint store and had it remixed correctly. The living room is a large area, but his crew masked and covered everything quickly and precisely. They were very careful that no paint dripped or smeared on any other surfaces, and they checked with me often to make sure I liked the results. I also had a guest room redecorated which included painting dark wainscoting a very light color. The closet doors were painted to match, inside and out, as well a new door that Mr. McHenry installed. He also replaced all the old electrical outlets with new. I couldn't be more pleased with the results, but The Total Package has been painting and repairing my home for the past three years. I wouldn't call anyone else.

Phil and his crew are the best! This is the 4th large painting job that Phil has completed for me and I will definitely use A Total Package Painting again. They are careful to protect flooring and carpeting and are meticulous with prep and masking. There are never drips and splatters! Phil understands the importance of customer satisfaction and always does a great job!

I cannot think of how it could have been better! Phil and his crew (2 guys) are CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONALS. They arrived on schedule. They PATCHED NAIL HOLES (this is a big deal for me). They used HIGH QUALITY PAINT, and DOUBLE-COATED. Hardware that was not removed (another biggie for me) was carefully masked with tape, which they removed upon completion. The wallpaper removal was excellent; I have no idea how long ago it was applied, but Phil was able to remove it with practically no damage to the underlying wall. Upon completion of the job each day, they tidied up; upon final completion, they moved the furniture back into place, and even offered to carry my left-over paint down to the basement. Professionalism is why I offered Total Package the job. Phil had responded to my request for handyman services; when he told me that his primary interest was painting, I asked him to give me an estimate on what I thought needed it. Because almost every room in this 61-year old house is wall-papered, and because Phil gave me a quick tutorial on wall-paper removal, we decided to do only one room requiring wall-paper removal, along with the living room, hallways, and stairwell. One of my quirks is asking for "accent" colors--that is, one or two walls in a different color than the main color. Other painters I've worked with have been reluctant to do this; Phil was happy to satisfy my request. BTW, it looks wonderful! Bottom line: I will have Total Package do the rest of the house, including the kitchen cabinets!

Excellent. Crew showed up and got to work immediately, two rooms approximately 200 square feet each were painted, and cleaned up in approximately 4 hours. I would highly recommend Phil and his crew to anybody that needs painting done. Price paid included top of the line Sherwin Williams paint.
