1 800 FLOODED

Terrible. They just want to get all your insurance money. They did the least amount of work they could. We had to stay on top of every single contractor that came in. The tiling was sloppy and sad, the kick board was broken. They argued about everything and the guys that did the repair work were belligerent. So disappointed.

They tested informed what they thought needed to be done. We were not comfortable about that and sent them away. Other company did it with ripping up our house.

On Friday, Jan. 2nd, 2015 a pipe burst in the ceiling of my finished basement flooding the flooring, damaging the drywall,etc. Was a holiday weekend and I couldn't get a plumber to come out till after the weekend. I called my H.O. insurance company, Nationwide Ins. and they contacted one of their Preferred water mitigation service contractors which happened to be 1 800 Flooded Colorado. Steve Guthrie, the owner of the business called me and they were here within the hour. Restored the ability to use the water in the home and began the water damage services. Frankly, I was shocked at how thorough and professional he and his team were. They had more than enough equipment for the task and over the next few days everything was dry and I was ready to start exploring the rebuild options. Due to Steve's professionalism, I decided to enter into a contract with he and his team for the rebuild, I KNEW I COULD TRUST HIM. He gave me a quote for the entire rebuild, I agreed and they did all the work. Plumber, drywall, painter, trim work and carpet cleaning. Every tradesperson he sent set an appointment, called me before coming, came on time and then did excellent work. His quote was perfect and there was no variation from the original agreement. I couldn't be more pleased with ALL the services provided. I hope I never run in to a flood situation again, but if I do, I know who I would be calling....1 800 Flooded.

The company sent a gentleman by the name of Dean Aggson and he used an appropriate balance of diligence with care to identify the breadth of the mold which occurred---without unnecessarily tearing our home apart. His responsiveness was excellent and he was a gentleman in all respects. If I ever need the company's help again I will specifically ask for Dean.

,It was a big help to have Steve recommend and contact the several sub-contractors, saving us the time and effort to research each one individually. All were courteous, friendly, honored time commitments, performed their work professionally and efficiently. Steve was at my house less than an hour after I called him. Within a couple of hours they had removed the damaged ceiling and wall, opened up the ventilation duct and installed blowers and a dehumidifier. Since I was leaving on a 1-week vacation the next day, they continued the work while I was gone, including arranging for an appliance service company to come in and look at the dishwasher when it was apparent that it was still leaking (this was after I had a plumber come in to identify the source of the leak--once the plumber identified the source as the dishwasher he said all he could do was drain it since he couldn't work on appliances--but he thought that draining it would prevent it from leaking anymore--he was wrong!). The appliance service company was able to stop the leak which allowed Steve's company to finish drying out the wet areas. His company then arranged for the drywall repair (you can't tell where the damage was) and the carpet cleaning. He worked with my insurance company on the repair estimate and final cost, and kept me informed every step of the way. His company's professionalism and responsiveness are fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to use his company again and have already recommended his company to a friend who refrigerator developed a leak.

After we got out most of the water, we noticed the mold and the dampness. We called them to get the basement back to working order, as I use it for an office. They did an excellent job of finishing this for us and when they were done they even gave us some spot cleaner free of charge.
