Empire Landscapes

I got a quote from these guys to rebuild my deck. After paying a hefty deposit, the estimator came back to look at the deck one more time and told me that they wouldn't be able to do the job as agreed upon, but would have to remove my deck roof and that it was going to cost me an additional $3000. After this, I told them I would not be using them to do my deck but they could do some landscape work that they quoted in addition to the deck. While doing the landscape work they told me they could indeed do the deck work with the original terms, to which I told them no. After the landscape work was complete, Coil n' Soil was supposed to refund me the difference of the deposit and the cost for landscaping. The check amount I was told I would receive was $220 less than what we agreed upon because they just decided to change the price for the landscaping without telling me because I cancelled the deck work. After having to fight for it, they gave me my full refund. The landscape work was well done.

Job beautifully done and on time.

I highly recommend Rich and his team. They removed over 6 huge bushes, trimmed up 2 Evergreen trees - I can mow under them now!, trimmed up a big Maple, 4 huge Piñon Pines, 4 Plum Trees, removed bunch of dead wood from a Weeping Willow. And .. they picked up a ton of pine needles and other .. wasn't expecting it, so grateful. Can't even tell, no leftover debris. They did all of this in one day, under 10 Hours. Rich can have new clients call me for confirmation.

I have a very difficult neighbor that these guys went above and beyond to satisfy her when installing a fence between our properties. They showed up on time, on a day that was most convenient for me, and completely knocked the job out. And it was done extremely well. I strongly recommend using this service.

Rich called me within 15 minutes of my initial inquiry; he came shortly after an had a bid the next day. It was in the middle of other bids--the other contractors told me that no matter whether they got the job or not, HomeAdvisor would charge them for the lead--kind of pressure to hire them on the spot which I DI NOT LIKE. Rich showed on time, built a new lattice and redwood frame for my deck and got the job done on time to meet my deadlines! Do yourself a favor and hire this guy--the rest are a pain!

Would definitely recommend this company. They replied quickly and communicated throughout the project. They did an outstanding job in a timely manner, accommodated minor changes during the work, were polite and left the area clean. Great job!

Coil N Soil was always late. He was deceptive about the material cost. He wanted to be paid before finishing the job. He left building material in work area and has not returned-no contact
