Creative Garage Doors

Nathan and Chris arrived on time and preformed the roller replacement (and other service) in about an hour. In addition to the roller replacement, and without any prompting, they reset and adjusted one of the garage door tracks, which had been set to far from the door, and was allowing wobble in the door’s travel causing binding and movement difficulties. Before they started the roller replacement, I told them the garage door was not closing using the garage door remote control and that I had to exit my car and manually close the garage door every time I entered or exited the garage. They immediately recognized the problem, and realigned and set the photo sensors on the door so that it worked properly with the remote control. They did all this and only charged me the original one low Angie list special price for the roller replacement. The entire time I was extremely impressed with how friendly and professional Nathan and Chris were. So much so, that about a week later I re-contracted with Creative Garage Doors to replace the broken springs on a garage door at one of the rent homes I own in Longmont. Again, the service was timely, friendly, and professional. Chris came alone this time and provide added value and effort to get the job done. I was very pleased with the work and the price.

Great! We had a spring break and Nathan got out the next day to replace them with more suitable and better quality springs that were needed for our garage door. He also checked over the rest of the door to make sure everything was in good working order and got our keyless entry working. I had asked over the phone if he could replace our much needed weatherstripping and he happily picked up what we needed and installed it no problem. The price was reasonable for the work that was done and we will call Creative if we have any other issues with our garage door. Recommended!

I would highly recommend Creative Garage Doors. I called the morning after our garage door springs broke and Nathan was able to send a repair man by mid-day. Tony came by earlier in the day to see the door before I could even meet him. He realized he would need specialty springs and picked them up before our scheduled service time. He arrived promptly and the door was fixed within an hour. So easy to work with.

After purchasing the Angie's List deal from Creative Garage Doors, I was quickly called and the tune-up was scheduled only a few days later. Nathan, the Creative Garage Doors worker, arrived very close to the scheduled time and checked out the door to see if there were any problems. He did find that the metal arm attached to the door from the opening mechanism was loose and repaired it. He then lubricated the moving parts and moved one track over half an inch to help prevent noise from occurring. He pointed out that a plastic disk between the springs might cause some noise but said it wasn't a problem and that I might want to wait to replace it when one of the springs gave out. Nathan was very friendly and the tune-up helped eliminate some squeaky noise that occurred many times during opening and closing of the door. I would definitely use Creative Doors to tune-up or repair my garage door in the future.

Sitting at home on a Saturday morning, I heard a bang in the garage and looked out to see the broken spring. Had them both replaced about 10-12 years ago, so it wasn't unexpected. Looked on Angie's List and saw CGD had Saturday hours, so I thought I'd give them a call and see if it could get repaired today. Nathan answered right away and said Tony was just finishing up another job and could be over in about 90 minutes. Sure enough, Tony arrived within 90 minutes. The door is 22 years old and had the original cables and rollers. Tony showed me that the cables were starting to fray and said it'd only be another $15 to replace those at the same time. I asked about replacing the rollers too since they were original and that was only another $60 for all 10 rollers and no extra labor charge on either. I'd use CGD again.

Nathan came out the day after I called. He was on time, and did the job quickly for a fair price. In addition to replacing the keypad, I asked him to take a look at the garage door and opener to see if there were any problems. There weren't any, and he didn't suggest any service (other than spraying some lubricant in the wheels once in awhile). This was a very small and simple job, but I'm quite happy with how it went.

Nathan Woodard of Creative Garage Door Company was employed to replace the broken spring on our garage door. Had he done only that job, he would have been finished within about a half hour to forty-five minutes. However, in the course of the job he discovered a number of things that either werenand acirc;??t done at the time of the original door installation or had been done inadequately or had simply deteriorated over time. These included installing an additional door brace, adding additional screws to secure existing braces, resetting and adjusting the power opener and adjusting the tracks for the door and replacing a worn bearing. In all the job took about an hour and a half but the cost was only for the spring replacement. There was no additional charge for all the other that he undertook voluntarily. It was a rare treat to deal with a repair person who took great pride in his work and wanted to leave a site in much better condition than he found it. If we are ever in need of garage door repair again, we would certainly go first to Nathan and Creative Garage Door Company.

Because the problem was a little unique and required so little time, he didn't charge me. I offered to pay a trip charge, which he declined, saying he was only a mile or so away from my location.

When one of the springs on our overhead garage door snapped following years of use, trapping our car inside the garage, Nathan showed up promptly the next day and had the old springs replaced in less than an hour. He wasn't satisfied until the mechanism was adjusted to assure the closest possible fit across the garage entry. I give him high marks for responsiveness and professionalism, and fair pricing. Should the need arise, he'll be the one I call.

Nathan looked the part had a great attitude and disposition. He responded to my call timely we agreed upon a time, he came replaced my broken garage door springs, and was gone within an hour. I like that, same day service! I don't mind paying for a good product at a reasonable price.

Nathan was great. He came out first to check on my old garage door opener which wasn't working to see if he could fix it. Once we decided it was too far gone, he scheduled a return visit to replace it the next day. He worked quickly and cleaned up everything and made sure I knew how to use the new opener and remotes. I would absolutely use him again.

They did an excellent job. I needed them to use the service on a single door but those were double doors. They said it was going to be a lot for the $175 and it would only cost me $100 and they sent me back a check for $75 because I had a double door. They are a great company with great integrity.

The whole process went very well. Other providers suggested costly alternatives, but Nathan quickly and efficiently installed the correct opener for our garage. He explained all the features and correct operation of the unit. The opener is quiet and is working great! We will definitely call for any future maintenance needs.

Arrived on time worked non stop until all work completed. Adjusted and lubed the door so it works much smoother now. We are very pleased with the value we received.

Excellent company, period. Nathan attempted a repair on the original door a couple of months ago, informing me, because the door was 40 years old, there was no way of telling how long the repair would last. The door ended up having to be replaced, but true to his word, Nathan credited the repair charge towards the new door installation. Great price, great service, no excuses. Don't you just love it when major home repairs go this smoothly. Hire them and know you won't be disappointed.

Nathan responded to my initial request very quickly and scheduled our repair the same day (New Year's Eve!!!). He called to give me an update on his arrival time and arrived when expected. He quickly replaced the broken springs and proceeded to wow my handyman husband with his inspection and fine tuning. He replaced the rollers (extra cost) and adjusted the rails. Tuned up my garage door as expected for the "Big Deal" I bought, and then estimated some needed repairs that I had requested. The repairs were then performed. Very prompt, pleasant, personable, and straightforward. I will definitely use this company again.

The overall experience was excellent. We needed to get our garage door fixed and we jumped on Angie's List to find the best rated servicers in our area. We saw this great deal and brought it. However, we need our door fixed quickly.

My garage door springs broke on a cold day when snow was forecast. Creative Garage Doors came out within just a few hours of my call! We didn't have money to replace the whole door, so Nathan showed me how I could spend much less to replace the springs, and if I chose, the rollers and an aging cable to get things working again. He was fast and efficient, and my door is operating more smoothly and quietly than ever. He said with regular upkeep it should keep running for another 10 years. Should we decide to replace the door sooner for cosmetic reasons, Nathan has our business!

I bought the the coupon for $175.00 but he told me his services would cost $135.00. He gave me the option of reinbursing the extra $40.00 or he could do additional services that would exceed $40 with no additional charges. I opted for the additional services.

Nathan is extremely professional, knowledgeable and kind. He happened to be coming near my neighborhood so he fit me in between appointments. He diagnosed the problem (broken spring) very quickly and explained that we had a very specific type of spring system that unfortunately he didn't have on his truck and he was booked three days out. He took the time to give me trusted referrals and let me know what he would have charged and all of the specifics for me to tell another company. He also helped me get my car out of my garage so I could come and go as needed until the door was fixed. I would have liked Nathan to do the repair but was very thankful that he gave me options to get the repair done quickly. If we need any repairs in the future we will definitely call him.
