The work, when performed was good quality. However, they failed to show up on time (at least 2 hours late most days), sometimes not showing up at all, or sometimes they show up on days they were not scheduled. Communications with P2P, either by email or phone/messages, often times went unanswered. I wasted a lot of my own personal time waiting for them to show up or return phone calls and trying to find out when (or if) they would be showing up that day. One, exception, was the electrician who did show up on time and was very responsive to our needs/requirements. If you do use them, make sure you get a firm estimate. I, at first, got estimates but then added an additional job without getting an estimate and ended up paying them over $150 and hour for 6 hours general labor. When I asked about the excessive charges, they just listed the actual work they did, but still, regardless of what they did (general construction of removing/patching a drywall and door), they still only labored for 6 hours and I felt that $150 an hour was excessive.
Description of Work: Modified/removed an extended closet to enlarge room area. Installed outside security lighting. Install 2 new dedicated electrical circuits for home theater room and home spa room. Hung 4 large metal shelving units in garage. Run data cables from main office to 2nd level and basement level of house. Fixed wobbly ceiling fan and installed 3-way speed switches. Removed standing water from sub-basement and installed new pump. Several other minor jobs and patchwork around the house.

The estimate was good and they showed up on time for the first few days but when there was a delay getting material (not their fault) they obviously lost interest. Their time estimate was 7 working days to completion but after 10 working days they were still no where near complete. There were several days where they either showed up for an hour and did little to no work or did not show up at all. The work they did do was not great - obviously rushed and very little attention to detail:-broken drywall in corners and in ceiling edge-things in the quote where not completed-heating duct was drywalled over-had to call the inspector back for a re-inspection because they didn't finish the work they said was ready for inspection When I called to let them know I would not be continuing with their services Mark got very uncooperative and took no responsibility for his employees or the work he had done personally.

I will eagerly recommend Peaks to Plains Construction to anyone who has need of a skilled and honest Contractor. After our basement flooded, I needed someone to replace the carpet and baseboards. We have a nice, fully-finished basement, which is where our son lives, so we wanted the job done well and quickly. I was referred to Mark Davis at Peaks to Plains Construction by a mutual friend at our church. Mark personally performed the initial walkthrough, quickly assessing the damage and needed repairs. Mark was very polite and thorough. Within a day, he provided me with a quote (which seemed very fair based on my research of other companies and my insurance estimate) and assured us that he could have his team out within a couple days to complete the work. Mark?s teams were highly skilled and very professional - a pleasure to have in our home. The carpet installers (Hector, George, and Thom) were not only able to replace the carpet padding, but they also saved the existing carpet, restretching and attaching it (which wasn?t an easy task), rather than trying to talk us into just letting them replace it, which would have been much more expensive. The carpenter who replaced the baseboards (Jesse) was able to perfectly match the style and color of the original molding, fitting the joints seamlessly around some oddly-shaped corners. Overall, we were very pleased with, not just the work, but the people who performed it. Thank you Peaks to Plains Construction!
