+ 3 moreThe kitchen design was particularly difficult as it was an older home and very space limited. Lin's design is breathtaking (like a jewell box) and the kitchen won a Crystal Award for 2010 Traditional Kitchens. Lin has access to all of the best that the design world offers, but also is very willing to work within a budget. She works with contractors and tradesmen that she has experience with. She also acted as the project manager for this kitchen as I was traveling most of the time - she arranged and met the electricians, cabinet makers, plumbers, granite, painters etc. She is a pleasure to work with. Everything that I have done with Lin has really had harmony and turned out well and stands the 'test of time' whereas some other design experiences I have grown quickly tired of the look and there were mistakes made that were not solvable.
Description of Work: Lin is an ASID designer that I have been using for years. She has done everything from interior space planning / architecgture, selecting paint colors, furniture ordering, window coverings, remodeling, including a new kitchen in 2009. The amount of money above included kitchen, all appliances from SubZero / Wolf, a new cove ceiling, cabinets, flooring, dining room furniture, lighting, draperies, granite, etc. I have also had much smaller more budget types of jobs with Lin in the past including single furniture pieces etc.
