Chad was very responsive and had the most thorough estimate I received. Most estimates I received included the type of paint to be used and the application technique. Chad provided half a page of details on how they prep, prime, spackle, mask, and paint. The finished job was just as detailed. He and his painters were very professional and thorough.

It is very easy to write an excellent customer review of Lewis Painting and its owner Chad Lewis. We secured three bids for painting the exterior of our two-story home. Chad had the most complete bid which included what he thought was six trim boards that needed replacement. The other two companies said any boards that needed to be replaced would be an additional cost above their bids. When all of the preparation and painting was done, only two boards needed to be replaced and Chad reduced his bid by that amount. Also notable, Chad provided the choice of higher quality paint, with a longer guarantee, at a small up charge. However, he only bids excellent quality Sherwin Williams paint. Chadand acirc;??s painting crew was exceptional in work ethic, and quality. They even painted the dog house as if it was theirs. Chad followed up with an inspection, one of the most thorough I have seen by a contractor. We asked him about painting an interior room and it was done by his interior painting crew quickly with the same excellent results. In short, there is virtually no risk in using Chad Lewis and Lewis Painting.

My house turned out absolutely beautiful! They were punctual, efficient and polite. I highly recommend Chad and his crew!

Stain wasn't done properly the first time, the company had to do it twice. The painters got paint spots all over my new railing with no clean up. I spoke to the owner and he said "you have my word I all fix this" but never heard from him since. Watch out, I gave him a color I would like but the owner will just choose the color and go with it. Instead of a test patch. I have to say I will recommend them for painting as long as there are clear communication BUT NOT for staining inside.

Have lived in Castle Rock since 1961 and wanted someone local that I could support. Called to get an estimate right away. Had to make an appointment for the next week. I changed Dr appointment for my daughter so I could be at the house when they arrived. No one came and no one called. I waited a week to see if they had an emergency or something and needed to reschedule. Never heard back so I contacted them. Chad Lewis emailed me and said that his wife made a mistake with the date and since it was a week later they figured I found another painter. However the dates he mentioned were not correct as I made the appointment over the phone with his wife the week before the appointment when he said they were out of town. Not sure how the appointment was made if they were out of town. to contact me. I had others coming to give estimates and went with another. Chad did offer me 20% off of another paint job. I'm sure he does good work and I wish that I could have used him. He apologized over and over in his letter. I just think a phone call was in order and I shouldn't have had to contact them.I stated I wouldn't use this provider in the future. I wanted to mark maybe but it wasn't a choice.

Chad's crew was polite, professional, prompt and did a great job all around. We don't have any paint drips on plants, driveway or windows. The neighbors keep coming over to compliment us on how wonderful the house looks. The job was completed in a timely manner even with a few storms that came through the area. We are very please and encourage you to use Lewis Custom Painting.

Had complete exterior of house and fence painted. Chad and crew were good to work with, both professional, friendly and hard working. Prep seemed well done. I choose to upgrade quality of paint for a longer guarantee at a reasonable price. Project was completed in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I received Chads name from the Sherwin Williams store in Castle Rock. I worked with my neighbor to minimize the trips needed to our area. He did a good job once he made it out there but is VERY poor at returning calls. I've called to ask for a full house painting job several times but he did not return any of the calls. To Summarize I would NOT use Chad or recommend him to others based on his ability to respond to his customers.

Let's just say he talks a good game about prep work and making sure everything is done right, but, the execution of that is a bit off. We had damage to our deck, damage to our property which he promised would never happen. I did give them some high marks for being on time and finishing the job as he stated. The follow up on the back end of the job(going back and touching up) was a real pain to get him and the crew back. I will say this...don't pay them BEFORE they have done the touch up work...my mistake on that one! One quickly loses their leverage to have them complete the work when they already have your money!

Absolutely great job!! Very professional, responsive, prompt, and highest quality of work at very reasonable price. Arrived on time, did everything as promised and then some. Day-one was prep and prime, day-two was paint. I examined with fine-tooth comb and found even the smallest flaws for the day-three punch list ... all of them fixed in less than two hours on day three ... PLUS one more glitch that I had missed but which Chad himself spotted during the final walk-thru. I couldn't be happier with the entire process, the house looks wonderful, and I highly recommend Lewis Custom Painting to anyone.

Chad's quote was very competitive, especially given that his quote included a higher grade of Sherwin-Williams paint than the other quotes that I obtained. For a small upcharge he used an even higher grade of paint and doubled the length of the warranty. His company was very flexible in working around the gutter work that we were having done. They arrived promptly each day and the crew was very polite. They did much more prep work than I have ever seen on a paint job, which I believe explains how Chad can warrant the work for so long. I highly recommend Lewis Custom Painting.

The preparatory work, painting and follow-up effort was exceptional. It was clear that our satisfaction was the primary objective. We would definitely use Lewis painting again; but the quality paint it used, and everyone's quality workmanship will likely mean that we won't require their services for several years!

They were on time. Coordinated their schedule to fit within our tight timeline in preparing our home for sale. Helped us pick the perfect color and they were spot on with the choice. Cleaned up after themselves very well. Did a final walk through to address any issues or questions we had. They did a very nice job and I would recommend them as interior, and exterior, painters.

Lewis Custom Painting did a beautiful job of prep work and painting. Chad and Stephanie were wonderful to work with. They went out of their way to meet our time frame. They were very responsive to our questions and concerns, very helpful aiding us in making decisions, went above and beyond expectations and demonstrated a superior work ethic and philosophy. Their painters were friendly and hard working. Any time we need painting work done, we will call them again without hesitation.

Great. The pre-inspection included a discussion with the home-owner to point out/educate the owner on recommendations and options. The job was very professional and done by the promised date. This was the first painting after the builder had painter the house during construction. The builder had not used a high quality paint. Many places required the caulking and priming. After the caulking and priming process the house looked like a case of chickenpox. One coat of Sherwin-Williams Duration was applied to the house. Lewis Custom Painting included a 10 year guarantee with this grade of paint. Lewis Custom Painting used cans of the builder's original paint to match the original paint color. The job turned out great! The new paint has a much better depth than the old faded paint. I have received comments from multiple neighbors on how impressive the job looks (as compared to other paint jobs they have seen in the neighborhood.)

We've used this company twice in the last 5-6 years and would use them again. Our log siding is difficult to stain because of the chinking. They did an excellent job and were able to get into very difficult places without using special equipment.

Chad Lewis came out and did a walk around the house pointing out the areas of distress and explaining what they would do to properly prepare the surface for painting. There were a lot of cracks and nails that had to be patched and bare wood areas that needed to be primered.They powerwashed, scraped, caulked and sanded the exterior in one day. On day two they masked all surfaces not receiving the base color and applied the base. On the last day they removed the masking and painted the trim and accent colors.When we returned home from work the entire work area had been cleaned up and the job was done.Chad came by for a final walk around and ensured that we were completely satisfied. We are.The price quoted is the price we paid (less a discount for Liking them on Facebook).A professional job for a reasonable professional price.

Moving is stressful to say the very least. We bought our new home and we had a laundry list of 'to do's' before we moved in. One of those things was to paint the upstairs rooms from pinks, greens and blues to something more neutral. We had a painter but that did not work out as hoped. At the 11th hour, I called Chad on very short notice and asked if he could fit me in somehow (within a couple days). I spoke to Stephanie and then Chad and both were very considerate, kind and empathetic to my situation. They arranged for a painter right away and matched my previous painter's bid. That is service! I only remember one of the names of my painters and he was Carmello. Both he and his assistant were extraordinary! They were very thorough and paid attention to the smallest details. They were meticulous with their prep work and then once prepped, they were QUICK! The pinks of a 'princess room' and reds of a 'baseball room' were quickly transformed into neutral beauty. Nothing against reds, greens, blues and purples but we love the neutral look better. Let me speak a moment about the level of preparation. Carmello walked around armed with a caulking gun and filled in nail holes, etc. to provide for a clean, unfettered look. I cannot say how much I appreciate that. Fixtures were treated with care and were replaced perfectly. They cleaned up everything and in the end, it all looked so incredible. Thank you Chad, Stephanie, Carmello and his assistant for the INCREDIBLE hard work, professionalism and kindness they showed me and my family. You left behind a lasting impression not only with the painting work but by demonstrating there are decent, kind and customer focused small businesses out there that really care. For those that read this review and the other reviews as you look for a painter, do yourselves a favor for your peace of mind, stop here, give Chad and Stephanie a call. You will be very happy you did.

It's a family business ran by the husband and wife, which I like. They price is a bit on the high end although they do excellent work and worth it. I would recommend them to others.

A neighbor recommended them. Their price was competitive and the quality was definitely good.
