David began work immediately upon evaluating the various jobs. He prepped the area to ensure easy clean up. He worked efficiently on each job. I was impressed how smoothly everything went. I live in a very old house (120+ yrs) so jobs can become much bigger than expected. There were no issues. I had all the major materials available and if any little items were needed, David had them. He was very well prepared for anything. I really appreciate finding someone I can trust and know I'm getting quality work from. I've dealt with a lot of terrible contractors in this city. It was refreshing to meet David.

Went very well. They came out on the two days promised, which allowed us to have the dog kenneled for those two days. They did a perfect job as planned and it looks terrific!

David was great to work with beginning with the estimate. He showed up right on time and clearly told me about all of the materials I needed to get for the job. The day of the job he was once again prompt and very personable. David kept the work area very clean and organized and worked quickly and efficiently. The work was done on time and in accordance with his quote. I very much enjoyed David's professionalism and will surely use his services again in the future. David is skilled in many areas and can proudly show you some pictures of his work on his mobile device. David showed up when he said he would, was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He finished a difficult job in a reasonable amount of time and did great work. He went the extra distance by adding insulation around the fan, an important step that I had not considered. Highly recommended.

This big ex-marine can do anything. He's so tall that when asked how tall my kitchen ceiling was, he put his hand up and touched it and said 9 feet. I have used his services for years and he has literally saved my life twice. 1.) Ripped out moldy drywall, wood and tile from a ruined bathroom that another remodeler refused to complete; tossing it out of a window so as to avoid tracking through the house. He is an excellent electrician that is liscenced and up on current building and electrical codes. Roxul comfortbatt is a solid,fireproof , moisture resistant rock wool product that is dense and heavy , but cuts easily.Mr Dixon combined the R30 + R 15 to = R 45. He had 2 coworkers assist him and devised an easy way to access roof space. I had dangerous wiring that was installed by an unscupulous company that left live wires that would have started a fire in the fuse box. He went through the attic , reviewed the outside wiring and gave me a written report. He also offered to back me up should I pursue legal venues. An expert who has wired hospitals, he would be highly regarded by the court. He installed electrical sockets , fanlights, a range hood, and wall oven, wall microwave,etc.He's a great plumber,carpenter and also installs windows doors ;everything. He is professional , friendly , and gives you his opinion without any hard sell stuff. His wife is his scheduler and I've had many informative talks with her as well.She convinced me that Quartz was superior to granite and I'm so glad I listened to her.

David came out and looked at the flooring in the kitchen that we wanted replaced. He discovered that what we were seeing in the discoloration in the flooring was actually water damage. He recommended that we contact our insurance company and get an appraisal. He worked hand in hand with the insurance company to get the vinyl flooring, sub-floor and floor joists replaced where necessary. He found the one of the floor joists was actually installed improperly when a contractor for the previous owner did the work. By repairing/replacing the floor joist he fixed an irritating squeak in the floor. We were very happy with the results of the remodeling. This was not the first time that Dixon's Custom Home Solutions has done work for us, nor will it be the last.

David Dixon and his staff were extremely courteous and professional. They arrived on time every day as promised and worked until the jobs were completed. They were respectful of my house and worked around my kids and the pets. David helped me pick out materials for the remodel and did a lot of the legwork for me. David and his wife Reagan were very good about responding to any questions I had. I've worked with other contractors in the past and I can honestly say I will never use anyone else for future work. It was about as painless as a home improvement project could be. Thank you! I love my new bathrooms!

They've always been very good. They quoted what they prices are before they start their work. They were very reliable. They come when they say they're going to come. They provide and explain to you what needs to be done and what the costs are for the supplies and labor.

Wonderfully! They are very efficient and very clean, they clean up after themselves. They can do everything and I will use them again definitely. The overall reaction I get to the patio they did is it is just beautiful and just right.

In general I am very pleased with the service from Dixon's but responsiveness was a bit of a problem. I called and left a message and eventually get a return call. We played a bit of telephone tag and eventually scheduled a time to have some one came and give me an estimate to fix the rotted wood around the outside of my patio door. I felt the estimate was reasonable and had the work done at that time. In 2 hours time everything was completed. I would use Dixson's again.

I had a portion of siding that was approximately 3 feet long on the upper part of a window cove that jetted out upstairs, on a very steep roof incline. I contacted multiple companies who specialized in roofing and siding, thinking they would be best to fix the siding. Most wanted to send out a sales person, who quoted minimum 200.00 and one company gave a minimum of 350.00. Other companies, ie., handyman, would simply state they could not fix this, in the location it was in. Then, I contacted Dixon's Custom Home Solutions, who came out, saw the challenge, and took it on. I was not here, but my neighbor told me how they got on the steep roof to secure the siding. To my surprise, they fixed it, and for a very reasonable price. Dave shares a motto, of "I can do this, too". I agree, Dave can probably do most any repairs and home improvements. And left me with a piece of mind. Thanks so much Dixon's Custom Home Solutions. I'll be calling on you again for any home improvement.

They were very accommodating. They were great people to work with and gave me some great advice with things I needed to do. They did an excellent job with a lot of work around the house.

He did an excellent repair on a partially rotted patio door that I thought I would have to replace. I will use his services again and I highly recommend him for any home repair.

Had contacted this provider to fix a leak in my shower door. They had agreed to do that Friday and had asked for my information to set up a time. I sent information but never heard back. This may be an innocent human error/oversight however caused me to have to start all over in finding someone else as I kept waiting for them to call me that day. I went with Meredith Construction who did the job for me and whom I have since hired to do more work for me so if looking then that's one route you may prefer to go.

He was prompt and very honest with me. He told me the contractor I used before for my gutter defrost system did well and no further work was required.

We could not be more happy with Dixon's Custom Home Solutions and would not hesitate to use their services again. My family downsized and I moved my Mother downstairs into our finished basement. I didn't want to spend a lot of money nor did I want any major reconstruction done to the bathroom. However, I did want a really nice bathroom for my Mother. I called several companies and had them present ideas with a bid. I either received a boilerplate design, suggestions to add a bathtub liner or replace the tub with a garden tub, or suggestions to do a major overhaul that would require tearing up my basement floor and moving my plumbing around. Dave Dixon is the only person that really listened and came up with his own design that turned out to be better than we could have ever imagined. He added a japanese soaking tub and the bathroom still ended up looking larger! We've gone through several "major" remodeling projects at our last address. Dave Dixon's Home Solutions is the only company that we that are completely satisfied with every aspect of a job that you can consider. They are responsive, professional, clean, intelligent, and very conscientious of their environment. I cannot say enough about this company and their employees. They are very good and I will not hesitate to hire them again.

I love Dixon Handyman service. They did a great job and were really quick and cleaned up well after them self. I would recommend to all. They painted and stripped wallpaper and changed out a door by enlarging from 32 inches to 36 inches they also built a ramp coming from garage into house.

We were unable to evaluate in months following because of the dry(drought summer) that year. There have been no leaks since the rains and snows started the following winter. So far, no further problems. Mrs. Richard E. Workman

It went great. I had some storm damage from a Sunday storm. I called Dixon's on Tuesday and talked with Regan. I was told on a job of this size they work on an hourly basis and that David would call me when he returned from his current job. He called that evening. The next morning he came and assessed the damage and went to get the supplies needed to make the repair. He and a partner worked on fixing the fence the entire afternoon, each charging an hourly rate. From my perspective, he was working on the job all day. They removed the broken fence posts, extended two privacy fence panels (to allow them to put the new posts in a location different from the original and avoiding digging out the old concrete). The job was done very well and I was very pleased with his final bill. He was very fair in calculating the number of hours of labor. The total bill included $245 for materials. He automatically deducted the $50 Angie's List coupon, which I had already printed, but didn't need!
