The repairman appeared promptly and worked consistently throughout the day. Originally I had asked for half a day's work but because of a cancellation of one of his appointments, I was able to have the repairman work longer. While none of these jobs were major they were items that I was unable to do on my own. The repairman was pleasant and I was extremely well satisfied with the amount and quality of work that was done. I have used this company several times in the past and they do stand behind their work. They are truthful and listen to what I want and try their best to see that I am satisfied. You do have to wait sometimes to have them do the work because they are booked with other jobs, but if an opening becomes available, they will give you the opportunity to get your work done earlier. They have always been prompt and professional. While, to me, they are not inexpensive, they are fairly priced. I would highly recommend them.

Rod did excellent work and was very pleasant.

Workmen left mess, didn't clean up adequately. Took longer then quoted on phone. Owner got upset because work wasn't completed in one day and had to return.

The tile in the entry was torn out and the cement underlayment was patched and prepared for the new tile, new tile installed and grouted. The old tile in the bath was difficult to remove, and it was also necessary to remove the cement base, which was a very difficult task. New plywood underlayment and cement board was installed prior to laying the new tile. The job took longer than expected due to the difficulty of removing the old material. When the porch screening was replaced, it was discovered that quite a few of the cedar strips that held the screen material was rotted and had to be replaced as well. This was another unforseen problem that had to be addressed. A couple of small concerns and questions arose during and after the job (such as clean-up and door adjustment) but everything was rectified quickly.

HE DID A GOOD JOB REPLACING THE DAMAGED DRYWALL. HE WAS THERE WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD BE.

Prices are seeming a bit high, but very responsive & professional.

Dixon kept the agreed date and time. Rod was polite and went right to work. He was asked if he wanted additional lighting turned on, it was refused. It was raining outside, increasing the moisture in the air. The quick-set compound was having difficulty drying adequately enough for sanding. He brought an additional heater to attempt to speed the drying. Next, he asked my wife to use our hair dryer. The dust in the air infiltrated the hair dryer, rendering the unit useless for personal use. After two coats of compound and low lighting, some "high spots" and mesh tape were still visible. Rod admitted that an additional skim coat was necessary, but due to high humidity, work was stopped after 4 hours. Replacing the hair dryer proved more difficult than imaginable. Dixon made an honest attempt to replace the hair dryer. A slightly lesser model was delivered and after much headache, we settled for the lesser unit. We were not asked, prior to hair dryer use, if we wanted to stop service.

Their estimator was very creative and helped me decide from several designs I had in mind. After having several other estimates, I quickly realized that he knew what the job entailed and took the appropriate dimensions. Dave Dixon, the owner, installed the windows, and had another worker do the finish-i.e. trim work around the windows. They finished on time and cleaned up after the job each day. Everyone, including Reagan, their scheduler, is very professional and responsive. My windows are awesome! What a difference it made in the room yet they look natural as if they were installed when the house was built. I plan to use Dixon's again if I have another home improvement project.

They set up an appointment for the estimate & were timely. Also, set appointment for work, later called & were able to come a week earlier if it was OK. I OKed that. Their worker came, was courteous, neat, & did an excellent job. Finished in a half day.

Work was done well and neatly, with respect for my home. I'm very pleased with the completed project.

I found them in Angie's List and called. Their callback was quick and I was able to book an appointment. The person on the phone was very knowledgeable and friendly; listened and answered my questions. Nothing was too stupid. They came a week earlier than the initial appointment, calling me the day before to make sure it was alright. The work was well done. I will definitely call them when I need other handyman services and if I decide to add my sunroom. Excellent.

Work was professionally done and the price was very reasonable.

I have had bad experiences concerning home remodel in the past. I will say Dixons Home Solutions were timely and professional. Their craftsmanship was excellent. I will say this was the most pleasant experience to date.

I wouldn't recommend calling these folks for fencing. If that is all you want, they will tell you on the phone that they won't be competitive. They shouldn't be in the fencing category, in my estimation, for Angie's List. The phone rep essentially talked me out of having them quote the job, telling me its not really what they do.

The work was done efficiently with no wasted time. Mike was friendly and knew his job.

David Dixon is very knowledgeable and professional.

David was punctual, professional, courteous, fairly priced, & did everything right. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, & also skilled in quality work. He is flexible & straight forward. I will not take chances with another company unless I have to.

He was timely, efficient and seemed to do very good work. I was very happy.

I've had them 3 times & been pleased with the work. The workers cleaned up after their work was finished & were pleasant to have around. I'm glad to have found them through Angie's List. *Update* I was very happy with the original work but afterwards some things came to my attention that were a little disappointing. There were some gauges in furniture here and there but the main thing that has bothered me was how the ceiling was painted or swirled. I can still see the lines where they should not be visible. Overall it was a good job but I wanted to update my experience with an accurate reflection.

Mr. Dixon came out & gave us an estimate of the work & when I called them back 6 weeks later, we made an appointment to do the work & Mr Dixon cam out on time as scheduled.

Eric was the carpenter and it was a pleasure having him work in our home. He visualized exactly what I wanted and the completed project was lovely. Any problems were very quickly remedied. He also brought some wood scraps back for the painter to use for stain samples.
