They are always on time, polite and do a great job. I have used them several times and am glad I found them.

Everything from the initial consultation to the install was seamless. Very honest - showed me a crack in one of the replacement windows which I would never have seen. Of course, he replaced it. Also showed me ways to make more cost effective decisions. Cleaned up afterwards.

They did a good job. They were reasonably priced. I was very pleased with their work and have no complaints. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

A little pricey but got the job done as quoted.

Dixon was on time, helpful, excellent work, explained everything to me and saved me from having to a plumber as well. Is coming back to install a new faucet as I had to order a part. Great.

Very well done. Jeff was on time. He already had the measurements and he went and bought all the necessary items to construct, paint and hang the boxes. He even got potting soil and filled them! I am so pleased. All I have to do now is get some flowers for them. Every time this company does work here it just seems to make your life a lot easier. I'm happy!

The thing I liked about them was the minute they were sent, they were extremely professional, real problem solvers. Both of the men that were there were very confident in their knowledge, and had advanced training at what they were doing. I would not hesitate to call them again.

David worked this project in conjunction with my bathroom remodel. The weather did not cooperate, as it was wetter and colder than normal, yet he was able to get it laid in good time. He listened to my ideas and was able to create a beautiful room. I added the bead board after the initial agreement, yet that was done in good time as well. David was very accommodating, fitting my additions in as schedule permitted. In the end I have a lovely room! The billing was very clear and Reagan was available to answer questions on billing or anything else. Turn around was very quick. I felt confident that I was being taken good care of, my opinions were being listened to and everything would turn out fine.

This room was completed after my four season room and bathroom. The work went very quickly. The tile at the stove was an add on, yet completed in good time. I was kept informed of how everything was going. The billing was very clear and Reagan was available to answer questions, billing and anything else. Response to questions was very quick.

Very well. This wasn't trivial work. Since there was no attic access, several holes needed to be punched into the wall and the ceiling to install the fan box and get all the wiring from A to B. The job was done very well. Greg, the installer, wasn't able to test the fan because the remote control didn't come with a battery, and we had not chosen the option of installing a wall switch. He called me and explained the situation to me and told me that he would come out again and take care of any problems, should there be any, after we find a battery (which wasn't easy in and of itself...it was a very odd size battery I had never seen before. I had to make four stops, before I found it at store). We've also realized that we may have to move the fan, the placement isn't right (Totally my fault, Greg put it exactly where I wanted him to put it). Reagan assured me that that would not be a problem and they could very easily take care of it.

We were amazed at the work. David spent a good 2 hrs with me to figure out exactly what we wanted to do and made several very good suggestions. During most of the actual work we were on vacation in Arizona. Reagan contacted us twice to keep us up to date on the progress and once to clarify something. One window broke during the repair work on the frame and they had it replaced within one day. The siding looked beautiful, the windows are great and the frame work looks great. The work, no question, was great, but the best part was dealing with Reagan and Dave. They did great work, they did it promptly, they did it professionally and they did it at a reasonable price, considering the difficulty of the job: The back of our house drops about 30 feet straight down into a ravine. It was not easy work.

There was no problem in scheduling the initial visit to take measurements and talk about what I wanted. Mr. Dixon listened to my ideas, took thorough measurements, and catalog details (color, handle type, etc.). There were some problems with the initial estimate, but when I voiced my concerns they were successfully resolved with the manufacturer. The workmen arrived at the appointed time, and followed instructions well. They left the house somewhat messy & dirty. Mr. Dixon came out promptly to take care of extra caulking around the windows, as well as fix a section of floor laminate that was broken when the door was installed.

They may be able to handle simple jobs that don't require much planning or expertise, but their name Dixon Custom Home Solutions is not accurate. We were very dissatisfied with their work on updating our bar. The crew that showed up at our house did not agree with the plan the owner had put together. So while they were on site installing the new countertops, we had to deal with a last minute change of plans. Neither solution ended up being acceptable. When the cabinets were installed, the measurements on the new cabinets were incorrect. The owner did not feel like it was his fault and did not agree to fix it at his cost, even though, he took the measurements. Lastly, the countertop color the owner encouraged us to get, did not match the scheme of the room. Needless to say, we had to have another company come in a fix their work. And, the other company was almost half the cost.

Winter was around the corner, so the owner David came and caulked the window, and said that this should solve the problem. However, again this year in 2008, as soon as it started to rain, the same window is leaking. The carpet is ruined and we can see mildew beneath it. We called them several times, however this morning I talked to Reagan. She was very rude, and because we have been dealing with this problem for 3 years, we are fed up with it. We were going to file a complaint last year, but we decided not to because the owner said he would come and fix the problem for us. This morning when I spoke with Reagan, I let her know I was in the process of speaking with my lawyer about this. After spending $3685 now they are saying that the reason I have this problem is because I did not paint the trim. No where on our estimate from them or in the last 3 years have I been told that I will have to paint this trim until today. I did whatever David suggested to fix this, but it is not fixed.

The gentlemen came right on time. He was very thorough, professional and pleasant. We were satisfied with his work. Will definitely use them again next time.

They scanned the area to find the leak. Fixed it. They did a great job! I would use them again!

Thanks Angie's List. Home repairs are out of my element & this was a good informative experience. I hope Dixon's always sends this contractor to my home for repairs.

Overall it went well with David Dixon reviewing prior to the work and at the end of the day what work would be done and what work was coming up. He was very informative and answered all of our questions. Everything was installed very well and his workers were professional. The work site was left clean each evening and they allowed my 4 year old son, who is enthralled with builders, to take quick peeks of the work with me when it was safe. David and I did run into one snag where he made a decision to place the window lower than I wanted due to structural constraints with my house. Although I agreed with the decision to lower the placement of the window, I would have expected a quick discussion to let me know about the problem and the suggested resolution prior to actually doing the modification to the work. I discussed this with David and he apologized for this oversite. Again, I would have come to the same conclusion as David, but I wanted to be notified before the change was made.

I am happy. Hopefully there is no major problem. And, I feel comfortable with the actions that were taken. David does a super job!

It was a very good experience and I felt that his pricing was reasonable. Mr. Dixon's wife (Reagan) was great on the phone and answered all of my questions prior to scheduling the work. The day of the work, Mr. Dixon was very prompt, actually arrived early. He took a look at the window and offered a couple of possible causes for the leak. He pulled off a few panels of siding around the outside of the window to assess the true cause and was able to do a temporary fix right on the spot. He showed me where the leak had damaged wood around the window (wood was soft and damp) and where the water was coming in. He suggested a permanent fix that would require replacing the damaged wood, and he provided an estimate for that before leaving. He caulked and resealed a the problem areas, and we've had several heavy rains with no more leaking since the repair. It was a very good experience and I plan on having him do the complete repair when the weather warms up a bit.

I felt very confident that he would have done good job. I decided to do with another company b/c they were more of a remodeling company and we had additional work we wanted done. ($1,000)
