+ -1 moreOff the charts incredible. Not sure I could have imagined that a company could share my sense of urgency on what was a relatively minor project. From the initial call for help to Austin showing up and fixing the issue in a short amount of time, I was absolutely amazed by the heart and service of this company. The Service rep was Austin Gentile and I know the moment he arrived, we were in the hands of a knowledgeable and trustworthy person. Anyone in the Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Denver, Parker, or Castle Rock area who needs anything from the smallest issue to an entirely new HVAC system should make Credible Air their first call. To say I was and am beyond blessed by this company and Austin would be an enormous understatement.

+ -1 moreWe've used them several times. They installed out air conditioning about 8 years ago. Their customer service is excellent. They didn't charge us for the service because we've been dealing with them for years and whenever we have a problem, or something is wrong, they trouble shoot it over the phone or they will come out and clean the unit for us. They hardly ever charge us. The two guys that came out checked out the unit and it worked that day and the next it wasn't working so the owner came out the next day and he didn't charge us to replace the part.
Description of Work: They did routine maintenance on the H/Vac system.

+ -1 moreThey were great until this summer. We had problems with the temps rising during the day - between 74 and 81 on each level. We got out of our program routine and set the downstairs to 72 and the upstairs to 69-70, just to try to keep it cool. We cleaned all vents and filters, and we have thermal shades and/or curtains on nearly every window in the house, and we've kept them closed. Mike came out twice. First time, our AC units needed to be charged, and he said that because of where we live, they needed to be overcharged a bit. Ok. Mostly worked for a couple of weeks. Then the problem started happening again. He came out and basically told us to rearrange our furniture to get better airflow and think about UV film for the windows. We did move furniture, and we also bought new registers for the lower level - ones that blew air out straight instead of angled. That helped a bit. Problems started up again, and we called. Often. We finally got a call back that Mike was having some health issues (nothing major) - that's cool, but they could have told us that earlier or referred us to someone else. Instead of returning calls, they sent us a bill for the visits. But we never signed any work order when Mike was at the house; he just said, "Oh, Teresa will send that to you." It was only the visit charge, but still. Most of our problems had been with the downstairs unit, but the upstairs totally died last night. We got another service to come out today. Dead upstairs unit - bad capacitor. (Easy.) Downstairs unit - SIGNIFICANTLY overcharged with coolant. The compressor was full of fluid, when it should only touch gas. The new service is sure he'll have to remove coolant from the other unit once he fixes the capacitor. So, Credible possibly damaged both of our units by overcharging, cost us an unbelievable amount of money in energy, cost us more to get someone else to fix their mistakes, and cost us signifiant distress to our daily lives, including medically. Such a shame for people who used to do a great job.

Description of Work: Though it took three calls to get a response, once Mike, the owner did show up, he was pleasant and passionate. However, several signs made me leary of this company. 1. He vociferously berated another brand of Air Cionditioning unit, Trane, a very credible company that has a history of excellent products and one that I was considering. Perhaps, as an installer, there was a two-way falling out. I never think it's proper to berate the competition. 2. He had little product knowledge of the Bryant models that he was proposing (decibel levels, SEER levels, # of Compressors, etc) and focused only on one model, and seemingly knowing little of the details of the others models of Bryant. I had to go visit the local Bryant distributor (who's contact in formation was given to me by his wife and who told me that the distributor would be useful in providing information). I spent 15 to 20 minmutes with the distributor, and at one time asked the relative pricing of the models. I was not asking for a quote or to buy direct, but when Mike called me and accused me of being unprofessional of "asking for direct pricing" which was completely false, I knew that this was a company that was not professional. 3. Mike has a history of owning other companies - inclusing in Long Beach, California. Another one in Colorado where he was a rane dealer. Credible Air in Colorado is his latest. I always wonder why not the same company. What happened to the others? 4. But finally, when I asked Mike directly if he was NATE qualified to deal with Xcel Energy to get me reimbursements and credits, he was truthful that he was not, but said that he was using a number that allowed him to do so and he was planning on taking the test to get his credidation. He promised me that I would have no problem. Sounds to me like he was willing to sacrifice his professional reputation. Who suffers when Xcel turns me down for $1,000 of credits? Later when he and I parted ways, he said that he could not get reimbursements. Credible Air became less than credible. I called him only because of his positive recommendations on Angie's List. I'm glad I did not rely on him to instasll my sstem, not knowing if he was putting in the right model, and not knowing if I would ever get thousands of dollars of Xcel Credits. Mike wanted to get the last word in, by telling me he wouldn't deal with me. I'm glad that our relationship ended before we went any further.

+ -1 moreAfter seeing their great ratings on Angie's List, I decided to go with Credible Air to fix our heater, which all of a sudden stopped working. I called, and they were able to come out the same day, assess the situation, go get parts, and fix the heater a few hours later. Mike, the repairman/owner (I think), was extremely professional upon arriving (took off his shoes--I love when contractors do that without me asking!), showed me exactly what was going wrong, explained it in layman's terms, and even forewarned me that the part we needed is one of the most expensive parts to replace. He then checked three different prices for the part we needed, and got us the best deal. The repair was completed quickly. Mike is extremely polite and sincere, as is his wife who works the office/phone calls. We will definitely use him in the future if our heater or AC has any problems!

+ -1 moreI woke up Saturday morning to no heat! Yicks! I quickly checked Angies List and called a few providers. I like to stay local to my community so I am glad that Credible Air was working on a Saturday. Two other providers didn't bother to call back but Credible Air gave me a couple ideas to try and see if it may be that - check for a clogged filter, check the breaker. They said they would call back in an hour to see if any of that worked or not. They promptly called an hour later and set up an appointment for later in the afternoon. My filters were clogged but I couldn't find them anywhere. Not only did they come out to fix my heater but they brought out the exact filter I needed. Although I forgot to tell them I needed two they took the time to bring another filter by the following day. NOW THAT IS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! They inspected my unit and found a fauty ignitor and sensor. They quickly and efficiently replaced the parts - as quickly as possible with the confinment of my space. They noticed part of my AC unit wasn't sitting properly thus it would cause water damage especially since my furnace and other units are located in my Attic. They corrected to problem without further chages. Not sure what they did other than change out an ignitor and sensore but my unit truely has more air flow now too. Credible Air Heating & Air Conditioning even called back later in the day to make sure everything was performed as I expected and if I needed anything further. Credible Air Heating & Air Conditioning far exceeded my expectations with the customer service and attention to detail!! Looking forward to having them continue to service my heating and cooling needs!

+ -1 moreAfter looking for weeks for a company we could trust and having an estimate done by a larger company that made me very nervous, we are SO HAPPY we called Mike and Teresa at Credible Heating. Very sweet, honest and reliable people.
Description of Work: We called credible heating because our furnace wasn't staying on. Mike came in and tried everything to fix the furnace before replacing any parts. He went out of his way to try not to replace parts and when he figured out he needed a new furnace control board he found a used part, drove down to Littleton to pick it up and saved us a TON of money. On top all that this was done on Saturday!!
