They did a phenomenal job! They are prompt, work neatly. They make a lot of progress in a day and the work is very high quality. Cliff has been in the business for years and will help make suggestions if you are unsure. We hired him about 10 years ago to do some wall paper for us and were thrilled to find out he is now painting. Cliff and Louis are perfectionists and they pay attention to detail (their lines are perfect and all vents are clean when they are done).

I was doing a major renovation on my house. Many things went wrong, but a few things went right. One of those positives was finding Cliff Stewart. I had fired my original painter for doing substandard work. I was desperate to find a quality painter in a short amount of time. Cliff was referred to me by Stephanie Lewis of Lewis Custom Painting. Stephanie assured me that Cliff was a top notch professional. Cliff came the next day to give me a bid and I was immediately impressed with his knowledge of painting. He told me exactly what he would recommend doing to my rooms. Cliff and his associate, Luis, were conscience and thorough and were very respectful of my home. I could not have asked for a better painting job. Cliff and Luis corrected the first painters errors and my house looks beautiful. I would definitely use Cliff again and I would recommend him to anyone. He did an outstanding job on my home.

We put the work out for two bids. Cliff’s bid was not the lowest but we were impressed by his level of expertise, his thirty years of experience, and the fact that he didn’t charge anything up front. We weren’t asked to pay until the work was completed and we gave our approval. They were neat and covered everything with cloths or plastic and they taped where needed. The wallpaper removal started around 9am on Friday and Cliff and his employee, Louis, worked straight through until the job was completed that evening. They did take a brief break for lunch, but that was all. Cliff said they didn’t like to take “coffee breaks” as that just breaks the rhythm of the work and slows things up. On Saturday, they came back to prime the walls. They subcontracted the texturing of the walls which was also done well. Then they primed the textured walls. Cliff noticed the ceiling paint was cracking along the edge between the wall and the ceiling. So he put two coats of fresh paint on the ceiling even though it wasn’t part of the original bid. We paid for the can of paint, but Cliff did the labor himself on Sunday at no cost. They put on two coats of paint on the walls on Monday and the job was finished. We reviewed the work, gave our approval, and settled up. Cliff was always punctual, he and Louis worked hard, they did a great job, and cleaned up after. We were very pleased.

Cliff did an outstanding job for us. He provides sound recommendations on improving things that we wouldnt have noticed. He gets the job done on time and works Sundays if necessary.

Cliff takes pride in his work and it shows! He shows up when he says he will, returns calls promptly, does the work that is quoted, none of that quoting one thing and doing something else. I am VERY particular about those things, as well as the work that is done, Cliff passed with flying colors! The drywall work looks amazing! You would never know there was water damage OR that work was even done!! The work was done cleanly, if you have ever had drywall work done, you know what a huge mess it can be and it wasn't! My dated cabinets now look like I spent thousands, many comments on how they look brand new! The rooms that were painted look fantastic! One of the rooms was painted red, which can be hard to work with, Cliff did 3 coats just to make sure the red was even throughout. Stunning!! The paint lines were straight, everything was covered & cleaned up when they were done and care was taken the whole time. I highly recommend Cliff Stewart Decorating! You won't be disappointed!!

Cliff did what he said he was going to do. He was on time and came when he said he would. He did a really good job and the rooms look great now. He did a few extras for us too which we didn't originally discuss.
