We hired Cliff Stuart off a recommendation from a painting store. The minute we met him, we knew he was the one. In addition to being an amazing painter, he is professional, personable, and trustworthy. His attention to detail and quality is impeccable. He takes pride in his work and it shows in the finished product. The paint lines from the walls to the ceiling were razor straight! Cliff and Luis’ strong work ethic is evidenced throughout the project. For example, they take time to complete detailed prep work, update you during the project, and clean up after themselves. Cliff returned my initial call promptly and was able to come evaluate, and give an estimate, within just a couple of days. He was knowledgeable and professional, helping us make great choices on the type of paint and color scheme. He gave a very fair price (compared to our other quotes), and was able to start work a week later. He and Luis took great care with prep work and all our furniture/window coverings, etc. They even did a little extra drywall clean up, and installed new ceiling lights for me, at no extra charge. Because of the quality of work (primer, extra coats, clean lines between ceiling and wall and different colors) the job took a few days. Each day Cliff and Luis arrived on time and ready to go. We could not be happier with how it all turned out - and will definitely hire them fir future paint projects in our home!

I hired Cliff to paint interior walls of a ten-year-old house that had the original paint. He is a perfectionist and paid attention to the little details. He really takes pride in his work and not only did an excellent job on the painting itself, but took care in prepping which I know may painters skip because they're rushing through. Cliff showed up on time every day and stuck to the price he quoted me. Without a doubt, I will hire him again when I have more painting projects.

Cliff and Luis did a great job. They take a lot of pride in their work and want the job to be done right. They painted and primed all the walls and ceilings including vaults and 2-story rooflines. They were especially courteous to try and rearrange the order of their work so that we could live in the house at the same time. They were also willing to break the work up to come after other trades had finished. Their work is precise and they are very reliable.

These guys are the best!! Cliff and Luis meticulously removed wallpaper, primed the drywall, and brought in a subcontractor to texture the walls. They then, primed the walls again and finally painted the walls with two coats of color. It is beautiful. They are highly professional and a delight to work with. They (or a subcontractor for the texture) spent all day every day for seven days working on our project. Cliff and Luis worked two Saturdays to stay on track and finish the job. We could not be more pleased with the job they did. We highly recommend them to all our friends and neighbors.

By far, Cliff and his associate Luis, are the best interior painters I have ever been involved with. Attention to detail, cleanliness and going above the call to assure that the painting was perfect. Cliff & Louis did an outstanding job!! They completed the job on time and everyday showed up on time. They moved all the furniture in each room & when the work was done they also moved everything back. Keep the work area extremely clean each day & cleaned up daily. Their work was top rate. Cliff and Luis do extremely meticulous work. The edges are sharp, the detail work is of very high quality, and the large, flat areas are very uniform. Our general contractor threw a lot of wrinkles into the scheduling of the painting, and Cliff was very accomodating and flexible. He showed up on time and ready to work and got the job done for us. He is fantastic. All he does is interior painting. He and his partner Louis, were in there on an Monday, and was finished on an Friday. He was there several times to look at it. It looks great. He came in, walked the property with us. He brought some paint samples, we picked the paint samples. He did what he said he was going to do. He noticed a couple of problems in the house. Its a brand new house, a new build. The builder had to attend to. He called us, and then called the builder. He went above and beyond. We had two bids. The other company was seven hundred dollars more. I would tell them its very high quality. It was done on time. He didn't tell us to pay part of it upfront. It was pay when finished. He is an local business, not an big company. When he comes and gives you a bid, that's the person who will do the work. That is one reason we hired him. We ask for an bid because he was local. The other company has offices all over. When we can we like to do business with local people. He does wallpaper, and he has someone do drywall. He has all kind of contacts. We like the fact he is local.

Cliff and his team did a fantastic job... from initial contact to bidding the project to the actual work and clean up. Professional group, clean during the project, and straight lines. I would hire Cliff again and recommend his company to others!

We were extremely pleased with the work. Cliff and his assistant Luis are true professionals who take obvious pride in their work. Their attention to detail was excellent. The tape and caulk method that they utilize resulted in very clean lines. They are courteous and pleasant to have around and they left the area immaculate when finished. I was very happy with going with Cliff Stuart Decorating for my interior painting needs. Cliff was able to provide guidance to paint color and a competitive quote. He was able to start the job at an agreed time. My husband was out of town during the time our interior painting was taking place. Cliff made me feel very comfortable during the three days of painting. Cliff and his partner did an exceptional job painting the basement of my house. This was not an easy job as the house is old and the basement is covered in ceder wooden paneling. These guys spent an entire day just prepping the area, filling holes, caulking gaps etc. They did an excellent job painting and it is clear they take pride in what they are doing. I will use them again in the future for sure!

Cliff did excellent work. Everything was done neatly and in a quality way. He did not take any shortcuts. In fact, I had a small accent wall that he painted per my direction and afterwards I decided I didn't like it. Cliff redid the wall and did not charge me an additional fee.

I couldn't imagine it going any better. Cliff and Luis were amazing. I bought Cliff's offer on Angie's List for $250 and scheduled Cliff and Luis to paint three ceilings. Cliff came over before completing the job and went over everything he was going to do. He showed me where joint compound would need to fill some cracks and dents. He also gave me his contractor account number at Guiry's and advised me on what paint would work the best where. He showed up promptly at 8am on Saturday morning with Luis to start the job. Again, the plan was to paint three ceilings. They started painting and, in the middle of their job, I asked if he could stay to paint another ceiling and the walls of a large living room. He priced it out - $75 for the bathroom ceiling and $250 for walls in the living room - 2 coats. I thought the price was fair and I accepted his offer. He stayed until 7:00 pm to finish the project. Cliff and Luis are ultra professional and detailed. First, they are extremely neat and clean in their work. They covered every inch of floor with drop cloths and made certain not to make a mess - in fact, they made certain not to drop a speck of paint on the floor. Second, their work is impeccable. The lines are beautiful and it looks extremely professional. I couldn't have asked for me. I will definitely invite them back to finish our upper level.
