+ -1 moreGuy was hired to find a roof leak. His first visit was good, accept he never told me there was a minimum $150.00 service charge (which was my total bill for that call). I read this in the paperwork he left with me, at the end of our time. His warranty included a second visit for free if the leak wasn't fixed. The leak was not fixed, so I attempted to call him and get a return visit. I called several times over two weeks. Twice he told me he would be there and he was a no show and no phone call to explain why or to arrange another time. Then on July 9th, he called and said he would be there in 5 minutes. I told him I was just on my way out to an appointment and couldn't be home. He arrived anyway and did something different to the roof that again did not fix the leak.
Description of Work: Guy was hired to fix a leak in our roof that was allowing water into our living room. He replaced the flashing around the fireplace on his first visit, near the leak spot. I am not sure what he did on the second visit, as I was not home, he just left a note. I never recieved an estimate and was unaware of his minumum $150.00 service charge. He finally returned a second time, but again, did not fix the leak.

+ -1 moreHe presented a "portfolio" of credentials, insurance and bonding information and consumer information. His roofers cleaned up after the job. He brought his own portable potty on a trailer, too, so no one needed to enter the house, which was vacant. He was able to start the job the following week after I made down payment, and finished in 2 1/2 days.
Description of Work: Guy personally bid the job, a re-roofing. He had a good product and the price was right.
