City Wide Roofing

City Wide was the only company of several I called to contact me in less than a week. The salesman was professional and seemed to know what he was doing. He promised the work would begin within 2 weeks and they would work for the insurance estimate. When no one showed up at the promised date, we called and got another promise date which wasn't fulfilled. Finally 2 months later unexpectedly, a truck showed up with the shingles. They damaged our landscaping and driveway and couldn't have cared less. They left the shingles on our roof for another 3 weeks before the roofers showed up, (again unexpectedly). We had been in communication with City Wide the whole time without any honest answers. The roofers (probably illegals) did not speak a word of English and City Wide did not provide an English speaking supervisor as promised. The laborers damaged the landscape even further. Once the work was completed in 3 days rather than the 2 promised, City Wide demanded full payment and our insurance had not reimbursed us. We received a lein notice not one week after the completion of work. In addition to demanding the entire insurance check, which included costs of replacing gutters and window screens, City Wide did not complete the work on the gutters and windows which they promised would be contracted out. Once we gave them the insurance check, they did remove the lein.
