Doug had it diagnosed as a faulty gas controller within 15 minutes. Since he explained everything as he tested I don't think he was messing with me (like auto repair shops). He had a new one on his truck. It was a bit expensive but when it was all done the fireplace burns better than it ever has since I owned the house. He also showed me that the fake logs have to be stacked in a certain way to make it burn right. Re: responsiveness. In the fall it takes a month or more to get an appointment. Other local repair shops are about the same.

It went exceptionally well. They were great, incredibly professional, and nice. They not only completed the job perfectly, but they also gave helpful tips. I would highly recommend them! Alan was very friendly, smart to every aspect of the job, and we couldn't be more pleased. Thanks!

Knowledgeable, explains things in great detail and it was information we needed to know. I'd request Doug specifically if we have any further issues.
