Daryl was very responsive, very punctual and professional. He came out to fix our outdoor fireplace that had not worked for a couple months. He ended up putting in a bunch of new parts becuase the original homebuilder used indoor parts fo rthe outdoor fireplace (cutting costs of course). So, the only reason I gave a B rating for cost and work is because it was more expensive than I was expecting, so it was a bit of a shock to me (which may not be fair to grade as B as I don;t have any experience to reference against), and the B for work was becuase he fixed the fireplace, however, it stopped working in about 3 days. I called Daryl, he responded right away and was back at our house in a couple days to "fix" the issue. It turned out it just needed some additional fine tuning. But he took care of it quickly and with no additional charge. Works great now. Very happy with service and would recommend them and use them myself again. Thanks Daryl - good job.

The installer was fantastic. Very conscientious about his work, quick, and professional. My particular install wasn't the easiest, but he still finished easily with no fuss. I knew before they even came out how much it would cost based on their per foot quote, so there were no surprises. They were licensed to work in my town already, the completed the permit for me, and passed the inspection on the first try.

I have used the Gas Connection twice in the last 2 years. My first opportunity to use the Gas Connection was due to a needed gas line repair for my gas fireplace. The repair, in 2010, was handled very well and cost approximately $85. I was very satisfied with the service. Most recently, however, I needed to install a new gas line in my residential home and used the Gas Connection with great results. As part of my kitchen project, I upgraded all of my appliances including converting an electric range to gas range. Acknowledging an immediate need for a new gas line, I thoroughly reviewed Angie's List for a company who had very positive customer reviews. When viewing the Gas Connection reviews, I recalled my previous interaction. Based on Angie's List reviews and my previous good service, I initiated a call. The gentleman listened to my needs, explained the gas line installation process and offered 3 installation dates. He provided an installation price estimate. The Gas Connection technician arrived on time (in fact, he was 15 minutes early and waited in his truck until the appointed hour). He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and very nice to have in my home. He explained the process and estimated the installation time. I was very pleased with the entire installation process. The final price was $35 less, then originally quoted. Overall, the service received from the Gas Connection was EXEMPLARY!! In the future, the Gas Connection will be my "Go-To" company for needed gas services, installations and repairs. I highly recommend this company!

They were extremely proactive about identifying other problems we had with our fireplace. They were extremely thorough and did a fantastic job. These guys were outstanding.

The gentleman who fixed came on time and was friendly and professional. He cleaned the fireplace and pointed out that the glass was on upside down. He cleaned the glass and installed it correctly. No parts were replaced. It seemed to work while he was there, but, after he left the fireplace did not work any better with regard to the self extinguishing problem. I did some research on line and found out what the problem was. If I can do that so could the repair man. Now I have to find someone who will fix it. So I got some help from this company but still don't have a working fireplace.

It was a very easy and professional experience from start to finish. When their rep showed up for the estimate beside them being the best price, he was the most informative on how it would be done, When their tech showed up for installation it continued to be an effortless expierence. He was professional and paid close attention to detail and cleanliness. In order to do the job he would have had to walk across a small area of carpet. He guaranteed no damage by covering the area before. It was small enough that I think most would have just left it uncovered. They came in on budget and I will definitely use them again.

Gas Connection sent Dan over to check it, who arrived right on time. He was very professional and very thorough. Told me a couple of convenience issues in the fireplace switch were totally safe, but over time may prevent it from starting (it's over 10 years old). But he didn't use my fear of natural gas to try and upsell replacement parts that I don't need yet. I felt confident it was safe, and yet I was not being pressured into more service or costs. That kind of professional service means I know I can trust Gas Connection. I highly recommend them, and will definitely use them again.

I discovered a gas leak outside the house on a Sunday. The utility company informed me it was my responsibility and turned the gas off to the house. The gas line ran underground under my driveway and then into the house. I left The Gas Connection Company a message on Sunday evening and they called me Monday morning and promptly came to the house and gave me an estimate. They were able to reroute the gas line through my garage and saved me from tearing up my driveway. The owner of the company gave me the estimate in the morning, and the installer was finished that afternoon. The biggest delay was waiting for the inspection by the city. It passed the first time and The Gas Connection was there promptly along with the utility company to get my gas back on. The Gas Connection worked directly with the utility company to get my heat back on asap. They put me ahead of their regular jobs in order to get the heat back on. I really appreciated that.

They were great and quick. They knew what to do and did exactly what they were supposed to.

they were super responsive in setting up an estimate and appointment for the work. the guys arrived exactly on time for both. the installation went well, the installer did everything he could to minimize cutting drywall and exposing any pipes. i don't have the grill or stove hooked up yet, but i'm sure everything will work fine.

They came and gave us the preliminary inspection and the estimate of $369.00. They had the gas line done by noon, and the range was delivered about thirty minutes later. The head boss called and asked to come by and inspect it. He said that they found that it was done well. Just him calling wanting to come by, man, that impressed us a lot.

They came out for free quote and quoted us to install a gas line for $469. They scheduled the appointment to install and were about 30 minutes late, however they did call me 30 minutes prior to the appointment stating they were running late. They ran into some issue, the job was more difficult than initially thought; they ended up having to access the outside, run the line into our home and snake through the floor (basement ceiling). It took them over 4 hours to do and only charged me $150 more for parts/labor (an additional 15 feet). They were clean, polite and explained everything to me. They did a great job. They were thorough & the workman was very tidy & friendly. I would use them again.

I did find it difficult to schedule them at first; it took about six calls before it was set. They did the work correctly and were very respectful of my property, making sure everything was cleaned up. I did think they were a little expensive.

The Gas Connection, Inc. first sent a representative to measure our fireplace and make sure the unit we had chosen would fit, and to give us an estimate of the installation price. After agreeing to have them do the work, a date was set for the installation. The installation occurred within a week of purchasing the unit. The installer arrived 15 minutes after the arranged time. He was courteous and pleasant and was careful to cover the rug and surrounding area with cardboard, to protect it from soot. The unit arrived with an incorrect face plate so the installer re-boxed the wrong piece and took it with him when he left. The right face plate is on "back order" from the company where it was purchased. The Gas Connection will attach it when it arrives. We are happy with the work. The installer did exactly what was expected of him. However, the job took 5 full hours to complete, probably because the installer spent at least 2 hours on his cell phone while working.

Our installer, Steve, was punctual, courteous and professional. He encountered several problems due to the unusual configuration of our house but was able to overcome them all to install our line and tap. Steve was also extremely conscientious. The finished product he produced was neither obtrusive nor unsightly. He did a wonderful job of matching the necessary pipe--as closely as humanly possible--to our exterior wainscoting. Additionally, he cleaned up after all work was finished and left our house as neat as he found it. We would definitely hire The Gas Connection (and Steve) again.

WE HAD A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. THEY SHOWED UP WHEN EXPECTED AND EXPLAINED WHAT THEY WERE DOING, EXPLAINED IN DETAIL HOW EVERYTHING WORKS AND HOW TO TAKE CARE OF IT.

THEY DID A HIGH QUALITY INSTALLATION THAT WAS INSPECTED BY DOUGLAS COUNTY AND PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS. IT WAS HARD TO GET TO THE EXISTING LINE AND CONNECTION SO IT WAS VERY LABOR INTENSIVE AND I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT MYSELF.

THE INSTALLATION CREW WERE VERY THOROUGH AND EFFICIENT WITH THEIR WORK. THEY DID THE JOB QUICK AND WERE VERY HELPFUL WITH ALL OF THE QUESTIONS THAT I HAD.

THE INITIAL CALL TOOK PLACE IN FEBRUARY 2005. THEY DID NOT GET THE GLASS UNTIL APRIL AND WHEN THEY CAME TO INSTALL IT, IT WAS THE WRONG PIECE. THEY WANTED US TO PAY FOR IT, WHICH WE REFUSED TO DO. WE PAID THE SERVICE FEE AND THEY REORDERED THE GLASS. IT IS NOW JUNE, AND WE STILL DO NOT HAVE THE NEW GLASS INSTALLED.
