I contacted the provider and explained to them what I was looking for. Turned out they had been to my house before for this particular issue and this coupon did not apply to what I need to have done. They are going to do the repair toward the end of October. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and we will resolve my issue soon.

The Gas Connection seemed very efficient and courteous on the phone. An estimator came to the house (twice as I changed the specs on the job) and gave me an estimate for what he described as a difficult job. I was not comfortable with the approach of the estimator but, to give them the benefit of the doubt, perhaps it was just a difference in personality. I did feel pressured on several points. What is clear, however, is that I got the work done by another company for %40 less than the Gas Conection estimate. The work done by the other company was done on schedule. The company that I hired did the necessary cutting of sheetrock to run the gas line. The Gas Connection insisted that I have an independent sheetrock person on site when they began their work to cut the sheetrock. That would take, "just for an hour or two". That would probably be another couple hundred dollars. I don't know how The Gas Connection would explain such a price difference but I think one has to be careful in selecting a company to do business with. By the way, The Gas Connection estimate included a %10 discount and was still $2500.

I was moving into my newly purchased home, arriving with the moving company and all my belongings. On opening the garage, we could almost SEE the gas fumes wafting out. I called the gas company right away and they promptly arrived, searched for the source of the leak (under my house in the concrete slab foundation) and red tagged the gas line! I started looking for plumbing companies who serviced gas lines and NOT one of the "big boys" in town could even come out for over a week. Finally I started searching for companies that specialized in gas line repairs and emergencies. I contacted 3, but the best was the Gas Connection. When they learned I had been without hot water for over a week, they found time on their schedule to come inspect. Not only that but they promised a bid by the next day as well as an update on contacting the county inspection office, pulling a permit and making room in their schedule to get it done that week! They had the best bid by over $1000 and did the work in a timely way, made all the appointments with inspectors and the gas company and were polite and tidy working in my house. These guys are great and if I have another project like this I will call them in for sure.

A terrific experience from start to finish. Kevin quickly returned my initial call for an estimate and since I had already measured the distance, there was no need for an in-home visit. I estimated 25-30 feet of pipe and the actual amount was 28 feet, and the pricing was very straightforward.....no surprises. Emily was very helpful when I called the office to verify things and inquire about where to email the schematics for the new gas range. Justin & Brian did the installation and their work was excellent, as everything went smoothly. Brian even took a look at my gas fireplace and showed me how to correctly light the pilot. I highly recommend The Gas Connection.

We had an electric stove and we were switching to a gas top and electric oven. Gas had not previously been run into the kitchen. We knew it would not be the simplest job since the gas connection into the house was at the opposite end of the house from the kitchen. The estimator came out and we discussed the options and picked the solution that would work the best for our home. The only compliant that I had was that the estimate turned out to be lower than actual cost by more than $250 dollars. The installers that came out were very polite and professional. We work out of our home and we were able to work with them in a way that did not slow them down or interfere with our work. They a very nice job concealing the pipe and left the house clean. They did leave a gauge on the gas pipe until the stove could actually be installed the next day. They did not leave any instructions but I finally called them when I did not hear anything to find out if they were going to pick up the gauge.

Doug went above and beyond expectations by installing an easy shut off and disconnect switch so I can easily store my grill any time I want to. He tested out the grill and discovered the spark generator was not working correctly, so I got on the phone with Weber and ordered a new part through my warranty. Without him testing it out I might have spent a lot of time trying to identify what was wrong with the grill. I am really glad I hired them to do this job.

I loved them. It was just a clean process from the beginning to end like easy to schedule, they had a back up and they kept calling me trying to fit me in. The guys finished the job and just made it simple.

Their estimate seemed reasonable, but I haven't compared their prices. The guy who came out was knowledgeable. He came on time.

I would use them again. They were excellent. They had to run a line from the main gas line about 15 feet through a concrete patio. They're responsive, professional, they have somebody in their office to schedule things so it makes it much easier to get a hold of somebody versus individual contractors. They show up on time and they get the job done.

Fantastic service. Called and talked to Estimator. He explained their billing so well there was no need for him to come to the house. Appointments scheduler called the next morning and scheduled service in just a few days. Justin arrived on time and was wonderful to work with. He explained everything he was going to do. The job required running pipe outside my house. Justin sprayed primer paint on the pipe to make it easier for me to paint it later. He worked quickly, showed me all the joints he had checked for leaks, and answered all my questions. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

They did a fantastic job. I am very impressed with them. They guys were very knowledgeable. They were very clean. They lay stuff down to protect my carpet when they did the work. They explained everything that they were doing. They were very thorough with their work and product was just as promised. It was very nicely done. The price was a little expensive, but it looked cheap for the work they did. I don't have much experience in that area.

We recently converted our electric cooktop to gas. Fortunately our basement is unfinished so it made the cost much easier to swallow. The Gas Connection was able to provide a quote over the phone, schedule us in, in a timely manner (less than one week), was prompt, provided quality work and at a price that was almost half of the other quotes we received. Fantastic experience!

We decided to change our wood burning fireplace to natural gas with newly purchased insert. Gas connections provided an estimate and described in detail all work to be performed. Two installers took 4-5 hours to run necessary lines, cap chimney, and install insert. They were very clean, courteous, and professional. Instructed us on use of remote. We used the fireplace all winter and thoroughly enjoyed the comfort it provided.

The technician performed the above service well.

The serviceman was on time and very professional. He explained why the fireplace was not working and he fixed all the parts that needed repair.

Excellent service, from the estimate to the work. I plan to use them again in the future to replace a poor quality gas-log fireplace with a more energy efficient insert.

They were really good. They were really professional. They worked fast and didn’t leave a mess. They cleaned up well after themselves.

I contacted the Gas Connection based on my Angies list recommendation for an estimate. They gave me and estimate over the phone and the price they charged was consistent with the estimate. I asked that they please find a way to do the work today as I needed to cook on my gas grill or my food would go to waste. They thought they would be here between 3-4pm but the prior job ran longer than planned but they honored my request to come after completing the other job rather than reschedule. Kevin showed up with two helpers (one was Nick) but they were all clean, nice, and professional. They did their job well and we agreed where they would run the new gas line to the grill. They cut into my existing line and added the new line to the grill as promised. They did a very good job and did it for the promised estimate. They also setup my gas dryer. I would HIGHLY recommend this group and company. They price was a good deal less than the Master Blaster estimate who was also a recommended company from Angies list.

Prompt courteous, explained everything in detail.

We needed a gas line for our barbecue as the house we bought was 20 years old and did not have one. Our contractor said we had to dig down 18 inches to run a gas line and then his gas guy could do it. (I think not). So we went online and found The Gas Company who stated they specialize in running BBQ gas lines. They came out and ran the line above the garden and attached it under the brick molding. There was no tearing up of the garden, etc. They finished in a couple of hours and we were barbecuing that evening. Terrific group of guys who know their stuff.

We were very pleased with what they did. We paid maybe $60 or $80 and it was just a minor thing and just had to be cleaned, but it was their time. We had no way of knowing what was wrong with it and it is not something we would want to do ourselves. They provided excellent service. They came according to their appointment; they were very professional and took care of problem to our satisfaction. They knew exactly what they problem was, which we did not. We thought that their price was pretty standard.
