Excellent first time work by the Gas Connection. From scheduling to technical advice (Kevin) to the final fireplace service visit by Doug. Explained the work that he was going to do then did it really well and kept a clean job site. The old tired fireplace looks great now!

Overall services were great, quick and priced well. My only complaint was one of the men were in and out of the house with muddy shoes. Once he realized he was tracking mud into the house he cleaned up the kitchen floor and started wearing the boot covers. Would hire again.

made an appointment, 2 weeks later they arrived, said they would quote. I call their office (4) times over 3 weeks. Never returned a call. On 5/2/16 a voice mail said they found the parts, I left a message that it is ok to proceed. Still no response.

We called The Gas Connection to hook up a converted propane grill to our natural gas line. After a negative experience with a plumbing company for the same scope of work, it was great to speak with the folks at the Gas Connection who assured us it was an easy job and they could take care of it, and for a fraction of the cost we were quoted from the plumbing company. The technician that came out to do the work was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We needed a few extra parts to make the conversion, which he had readily available. We plan to utilize their services again in the future.

These guys are quick. Only took them about 20 minutes to get it done and tested for leaks.

Great Experience. I had several calls into the Gas Connection and spoke with Ken Fanger. We were able to discuss the project over the phone and he provided an estimate. I had an additional gas line added from the meter to a cooktop and dryer. Ken provided a very straightforward quote. The project was scheduled and the guys were out here on time and were very courteous. I had a carpet cleaning company scheduled to come during the same window, so things were a bit hectic. The project was completed and it looks great, the guys put forth effort to route the black pipe in the most efficient manner for routing which looks good and ended up saving me a few of feet of pipe cost. Very nice work and courteous. Pricing was competitive. I am a happy customer and will use The Gas Connection again. Thanks

Doug Londen from The Gas Connection was punctual, courteous, and professional throughout. He really knows his business and explained things well, particularly when he consulted me about decisions that needed to be made about the job. The job was done in four hours, which seemed pretty quick for three gas fireplaces and the problems that he found. I had another company come out and give an evaluation and an estimate. The evaluation by the other company was not only incorrect, but the estimate was for almost three times what The Gas Connection charged!

From the moment I called gas connection, the people I talked with were genuinely interested in my problem. Because we couldn't figure out whether it was a fireplace or chimney issue, the woman I spoke with had Doug, one of there service people call and he spent time with me on the telephone discussing the fireplace. He arrived at the scheduled time for our appointment and went right to work trying to discover the reason for the overheating. He had it diagnosed quickly but just to be safe he checked for other possible problems with the fireplace including CO2 emissions. At my request, he also cleaned and adjusted all the fireplace components and did a beautiful job. It works better than it ever has. I would recommend this company to anyone with fireplace issues or chimney issues.

The technician cleaned out the fireplace inside and also cleaned the 2 pieces of gl***. It is a double sided gas fireplace. It looks nice again. He cleaned out the pilot light, which allowed the switch on the wall to work. Also checked for leaks. He was right on time and was professional and courteous. An overall great experience, and I would recommend Gas Connection to friends.

Great! The installation was scheduled quickly; the technicians arrived on time and were very professional; they provided several solutions for how to run the line (so that I could choose); and completed the job within the quoted time and on budget. I had purchased a coupon via Angie’s List which the technicians said they had never seen before, but they accepted it with no questions asked.

Serviceman arrived a few minutes early. He covered the floor prior to starting work. I was also asked to describe my concerns. He asked good questions and gave me some excellent tips, such as keeping the whole house fan on as this fireplace draws air from within my home rather than via an external vent. He was able to check air flow into the unit and heat containment. The fireplace only needed a good cleaning. Then the service man cleaned up his work area. The invoice was for the expected amount. I recommend this company and would use them again.

In early September I was shopping for a new fireplace. Before buying one Spa Brokers (love them) sent my information to Gas Connection so they could give me some advice about what to buy. Gas Connection called me (on a number I have had for 15 years) They scheduled an appointment to do an estimate and came out on September 18. Vince seemed nice and knowledgeable, but during the time he was at my house he kept changing what he recommended. My notes have so many cross out and rewrites. It was very confusing. Through GC I got a referral for a contractor (love him). This was the last I heard from Gas Connection until 11-13-13. Gas Connection did all work through my contractor. Not knowing how it works I thought that was normal. Finally after GC rescheduled install twice we had a date for install. My contractor told me that I had to leave a check but since I HAD NOT RECEIVED I had no idea of the amount. I called GC two days before to get an emailed estimate. After calling them three times I still had no estimate. They said they had emailed. I have to wonder if they said it the wrong email address. GC people were increasingly rude each time I called. All I wanted to do was pay them for their service since I at this point had had the new fireplace sitting in my family room for 6 weeks. On the day before the install they called my contractor and yelled at him that I had to pay them now or they would not come out the next day. Why didn't they call me? Finally they did call me at 5:00 the day before install. It turns out they did not have my correct phone number, even though they called me in September. I could tell the person who called me was trying to be nice, but at this time we were both frustrated. He had found my correct phone number on the original paper work from Spa Brokers. It seems that Vince wrote my number wrong and no one thought to check it until the 11th hour. The man I talked to last read the estimate over the phone and then listed a bunch of charges that might come up. This all seemed to unprofessional to me so I cancelled the install. GC said they would call me to reschedule, they never did. Through all of the interaction that occurred on November 12 I felt like GC blamed me for all of the mishaps. I found them to be extremely arrogant and unprofessional. Luckily I found another company to install. There was only one week form estimate to install and they included my gas grill demolition all for $100 dollars less than Gas Connection.

The coupon says $25.00 for $50.00 toward any gas line repair. I have a gas fireplace that seems to have a leak. The Gas Connection said that they would be happy to repair my gas line to my fireplace, but the coupon doesn't apply to fireplace gas lines. I said that the coupon said "any gas line repair" and they said they understood, but it only applies to gas lines not fireplace gas lines. They were very sorry and said they understood. They said they wished it was more clear and they've had other people make the same mistake.

Don and his assistant Nicolai installed the insert and venting ducts. They were very polite, personable, and professional. They dealt easily with a couple of obstacles and did a very professional install. The area was spotless when they left as well. Once the city inspected and passed the install, Doug came for the final hook-up. He placed the gas logs, installed the surround, and explained the operation of the remote with some tips about using the fireplace to maximize its efficiency. It was an excellent experience, and we will definitely be using them in future to clean and service the fireplace.

The job went smoothly, two men came out to plan how to do, one guy did the work. Professional. But I wish I would have called them back earlier regarding my fireplace pilot light. It was on when they came, off when they left. Now we can't get the pilot light on. Whether or not there is a connection I couldn't say. But I am using another company to service our fireplace - a difference of about $50 so I would recommend you shop around before you ask Gas Connection to service your fireplace. There are other highly rated companies on Angie's list that check and clean fireplaces.

The main job was tapping into a pre-existing gas line at our furnace to run a line out to our new barbeque grill. Once we all decided the best way to run the line everything went very well. We couldn't ask for a more professional team listened to us and our concerns, and from there formed a plan. Once the plan was in place everything went very smoothly.

Took time to call me back few times and finally got hold of me. We decided the repair wasn't necessary at this time that I really appreciate his honest analysis.
