Very pleased with all work. Punctual for all work, did thorough job, and the manager who coordinated all the work for me was good to work with too. He kept me up to date about work and answered questions in a timely manner.

Excellent service and professionalism

I was very happy with their work. They are always on time, courteous, and professional.

It was at my previous home. They did a reasonable job. There was one fellow that was kind of the assigned as the chief arborist in Boulder, I think that's where the fellow came from. He seemed to be a very knowledgeable and reasonable person. I can't really speak of them in general but the people that came out to service me certainly did a reasonable job. It wasn't anything that serious or a big job, but they did fine. To the best of my recollection, everything went well, I don't recall any issues or problems. I think they did what I called them for. I called them because they were recommended as a good company, and I kinda agreed after they were done. I don't really have a way to compare price wise. I know my recollection was, they might have charged a little more than other companies but then you get what you pay for kind of thing. I didn't feel like I was cheated necessarily. Although, had I done it myself and done all the maintenance and bought my own fertilizer, I could have done it for less, but all the work and the plugging you have to do. They seemed to do well. The fellow that came, was very personable, knowledgeable and was not high pressure. He kind of left to me what I really wanted him to do or not, and thought it would be the best thing. There were other possibilities that I could have chosen that would have cost me more but I said were optional not needed. I wasn't in a hurry, and I scheduled at my convenience and they came out. They came when they said. They would be the ones I would call if I needed somebody for doing trees like that.

We've use Davey for years. They fertilize and prune all of our many big trees around us. That's basically it and they're very responsive. If they break a sprinkler head when the ground is still frozen when they're fertilizing they fix it and pay for it themselves. They're very good, very good company.

We really liked them, but they were too expensive. They were a good company and I wouldn't not recommend them. They always came out when they were supposed to and when I had a problem, they usually had a guy out within a week.

It was fine, they did a good job. They were responsive and they took care.

They come out every other month. They've been in business for a long time and they are a reputable company.

It was good. They did everything I needed them to do. They were professional.

The price varies with the service they provide. Sometimes they spray, sometimes they just do a check. I am generally not there. I've been using them for a few years so they just leave me a message when they are coming and just come do what they need to do. They leave it clean. I would recommend them.

They've gone up a little bit over the years but not excessively. I have an annual agreement with them. They've been excellent.

They come out twice a year.

The quality was excellent. They were right on time. They did a really nice job.

It has always worked out really well and we've used them for years. We're just really happy with them.

I called them online and hired them. They didn't do a very good job of letting me know when they would come out. They had instruction on one property not to spray the public strip of land and they did. The spraying worked. They got rid of the weeds. They are a little high.

They are okay. They are a big national company. There are so many local people, I'd rather use local people to do that. I ended up finding an arborist who is a nephew of a friend and now I have them do the big work. I will say that what I did love about Davey was their automatic plan that you just signed up for the year and they come and take care of all your trees. So that automation was really good. It was a little expensive but I did think the arborist that they sent out in the beginning was really professional. It is just that 90% of the time the guys that came to the house had no idea. Their big plan was really good, like if you have a big lot and a lot of immature trees, I thought it was a good plan. What happened was I had a service with another company and Davey Tree bought them. I used them for maybe a couple of years and thought it was good but then...it was one of those things like they send out a bill like, oh we'll take care of your trees for $500 or $600 a year. I was like, oh does it really cost that much. And some of the things like deep root watering, we just realized it is so much cheaper to do that yourself and it doesn't take that much expertise. And really all it takes is one tool from Home Depot to do that. But for like the aspen, we got that aspen thing...they came out and sprayed them. I do think that that helped and I might call them again if I see some more of that on my aspens. I thought they handled that really well. For their regular visit, they come every few months is like $70 or something. My issue was not price, my issue was trying to hire people we know. I thought they were super professional, The system worked really good. They have a billing system that worked great and the fact that they just show up and do work. And I even thought that they wanted to do the year service in advance and they give you a discount or you could do 6 months. All those things I really like because even with the lawn service that I hire intermittently, I've to call them up and say, okay here is what I want, can you do this for me. Davey Tree Service is really good if you are the kind of home owner who just doesn't want to deal with your yard and these are your tree guys and then you have your landscaping guys. I would probably use them in the future if I needed it.

Once I can tell they're doing a good job but you have to be seeing what they're doing so it's hard to know how good it is. You're not outside watching them. They do what they're supposed to do and you're set to assume that they've done a good job.

They have been very good overall but we've had one incident with them recently that we're trying to work out. The price is average. Overall, quality is quite good. Their responsiveness is average.

I have them work for me for years. They are great. They are here when they are supposed to. I've known them for probably longer than you've been alive. I don't have anybody else. They are a little pricey. Their punctuality is always good. Their professionalism is very good. I use them all the time. We won't use anybody else.

It's pretty good. They have great customer service and do a really good job. The rep is just a really good guy. He's real personable, honest and informative.
