the business owner came to see my problem roof, told me i did not need a new one. took photos of the problem areas, and gave me a very reasonable bid to repair them. the crew showed up the next week and did the repairs that were needed. everyone was very professional and competent. i would definitely use this company again.

It was a great experience. They were very knowledgeable, they took their work seriously and took pride in it. They steered us away from inferior products, which we appreciated. They didn't rush to cut corners or get it done sooner than necessary. We will be using them again to restore or decks and repair our gutters.

They did a really good job and we were pleased about that. My overall experience was good. They were responsive, punctual and professional. We would use them again in the future.

After a hail storm struck our neighborhood, we were inundated with no less than 75 roofers knocking on our door wanting to replace our roof. I've been burnt by a contractor in the past (landscaping) because I didn't do my homework and as a result, I now do my homework and only hire contractors that I call, not unsolicited contractors. I am also a former small business owner and currently manage a small business - and given the choice, prefer working with small to mid-sized local companies. A neighbor referred Rocky Mountain Roof Doctors to me - so I called Andy Rock, owner of Rocky Mountain Roof Doctors who came out at my request to do an estimate on replacing my 6-year old roof . During his walk of the roof he fixed a problem that we were having with a leak around our dryer vent. He would not take any money for doing this repair. I verified that he had worker's comp and liability insurance, a good rating on BBB and Angies list, that he was licensed and bonded in Colorado and in good standing with the Colorado Secretary of State's business website. I also requested a letter from the manufacturer of the shingles verifying that the warranty was valid per all of the materials being used (the underlayment for example wasn't made by the same mfg as the shingles, and the shingle mfg's warranyy specifically called out that the underlayment be by them). Andy contacted the mfg and had them send me a letter which validated the 50-Year warranty on the roof per the materials that Rocky Mountain Roof Doctors uses. Doing my due-diligence took a little bit of time on my part, and in the interim before I hired him, Andy brought his crew out to introduce them to me and my wife and some of our other neighbors who were considering his company. This was way above and beyond in my opinion - his crew had clearly put in a hard day of work and were still out at 6:30PM to meet the people that they hoped to be doing work for. Based on all of this, I hired him to replace both mine and my mother-in-law's roof (she lives in my same neighborhood). Also, prior to hiring him, Andy walked through the process involved with the insurance companies - he doesn't play games in this regard, as was our experience with some of the other contractors that I interviewed, so if you're looking for a contractor who can make your $1000 insurance deductable "go away", there are probably other contractors that you should consider. For me and my wife, we wanted an honest days work from an honest contractor who keeps his word and that's what we found in Rocky Mountain Roof Doctors. Andy informed me of about when they'd be starting, the process, and when they'd be finished and it all went as described in the time frames discussed. Our new roof has been on for a couple of months now - It looks good and performs well, with no problems. Per my arrangements with him, I paid a small deposit when I hired him and paid him 90% upon completion of the roof and held back 10% until the roof passed inspection, which it did. Andy just called a couple of days ago to thank me for giving him the opportunity. As for this review - I'm sure it sounds like it's coming from one of his relatives... I assure you that I never met anyone from Rocky Mountain Roof Doctors prior to needing a new roof. I gave Andy my word up front that that I would do a review of his work online upon completion of the job, good, bad, or ugly. I am a man of my word and the work was better than good. Bob M. Have had two nagging leaks in the roof of my thirteen year old house, causing water stains on the ceiling. Andy came out to do an estimate for repair of the leaks. He was extremely thorough, professional and pleasant. His estimate was the highest of the three that I got but was also the most comprehensive. He was the only one of the three to actually climb into the attic to find the exact location of the leaks. I have accepted his estimate and plan to have the work done in September.

We didn't take their bid because we got a better price. They were expensive.

The guy who came was very professional and did a very thorough job. However, their price was way higher than any other company that quoted me.

I called and spoke with Andy, the owner, who set a time to come out and look at the job. Andy took pictures of the issues and then explained what needed to be fixed. Andy told me he would work on getting a crew member out the next week as he was booked through the weekend. We scheduled the work to be done on a Tuesday, Larry from Andy's team showed up on time. Larry got to work immediately, was very polite and unobtrusive, he completed the work and was very patient with his explanations to show us what he was going to do. Andy stopped by later in the day and showed us that the work was actually more involved than originally quoted, however, he stood by his original quote! What was thought to be a couple hours of work extended to more than 8 hours. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs to get repairs completed.

The guy said not to fix the roof. It's a cedar shake roof and we thought we needed some of the shakes replaced, but he thought we didn't. That was fine for us. He gave us tips and told us we might be looking at one in 10 years. We were quite pleased. His responsiveness was good.

Very easy to work with

Andy, the owner, called me the weekend of May 2nd and said the work would be done on the 4th or 5th. He called me Tues AM and said the men would be there in 30 minutes and they were. Took about 2 hrs to complete the job and cleaned up after themselves. Andy's bid was 2nd low by $50.

The phone call was brief & they told me that the job was too small for them. They indicated that they work commercial jobs. They were very upfront about what they can & cannot do. I would use them again in the future if I had a larger job.

I found Andy very easy to work with. He communicated with me every step of the way. He and his employees were friendly and professional. They cleaned up the site each day. Andy even returned on the last day to clean up some tar from my deck, and oil stains in my driveway that were left by one of their trucks.

They came when we called. Another roofing company walked around the house and gave us an estimate. Roof Doctors got on the roof, took pictures, downloaded the pictures to their laptop, showed us the things that needed repair and gave us an estimate on the spot. They called to schedule an appointment. They came out and it took two days to complete. Our grounds were cleaner when they left then when they came. The supervisor then came out when the job was complete, took pictures of the repair, downloaded those pictures to his laptop and showed us what was repaired before they asked for payment. The cost was exactly the estimated price.

It took a while to get the job scheduled. Once it was scheduled the job went well. From start of demolition to finish was 3 days. I had them come back 3 months later when a different roof started leaking.

Rocky Mountain Roof Doctors provided us with an estimate to re-shingle our house and garage. They were low bidders. They did a good job. They helped us pick out good colors that match our paint.

This company was prompt and completed replacing the missing shingles in a matter of hours. The shingles matched and the workmanship has held up over the years.
