We had to deal with leaks twice after the work was done. They came out and fixed the work free of charge. As far as I'm concerned, they're great. They provided me with a quality service. I also found them to be very responsive to my needs. They showed up on time and were quite professional throughout the project.

Requested roofing flashing to be preformed around a skylight and some patches to be made on a membrane roof. Within a short while after the first call where Reitz made the flashing and patching repairs, we had dips in the flashing around the skylight on three of the four sides and water began to pool. The crew that was sent the first time were very nice, seemed to do very good work, but used the wrong material to build up under the area around the skylight. To Bernie's (owner/manager) credit he sent out a second crew immediately to fix the problem. Unfortunately, a company is only as good as its crew and these guys tried to fix the skylight problem and failed. They also did some other work and never even finished it. To my discredit I never called anyone a Reitz, and let the matter go for many months w/o paying the bill. Then one day, a call came from them and I explained why I had not paid them. I was, up to that point, a good customer and used Reitz for my roof work at home and work. I explained the problems with the skylight and the unfinished work. The person I spoke with then said that she would get back to me. Days later I heard a person on my roof in the middle of the day. I ready myself with a phone (to call the police) and walked out of the house to walk up the street when a person explaining he was with Reitz Roofing came off my roof and down his ladder. After telling him that he might have knocked on the door first before accessing my roof, he and I when up to look at the problems and he suggested that he could do the work that minute, but - I noted that I would rather hire another company. It seems the bill has been forgiven, but - I have never gotten a credit memo, and Reitz never contacted me again. I never called them either. However, this week - after writing this I will call for a credit memo. Today, a house I own (I am an investor) is under contract and the buyers specified Reitz Roofing to do the inspection work. I told them that Reitz would not be allowed on my property (my loss and theirs). This is yet to be resolved regarding the buyer and their need to have Reitz do the inspection. I told the buyers this story and I think that they will now find another inspector.... Here are my final thoughts. I did not handle the problem well. I should have called immediately when on the second attempt all was not corrected. Bernie should have called me personally. We have met several times and I think he is a very good guy WHO RUNS A FIRST-CLASS ROOFING COMPANY. However, this is a lesson that you are only as good as your employees. And, when they can't do their jobs or scare the SH_T out of you by trespassing on your property, you are bound to loose a client.

The company called back the day I called, gave an estimate the next day, and completed the work within a week. They were clearly experienced in working with this type of roof, and did the job for what we considered a very fair price.

We had a leak that was hard to pinpoint. They came out, checked out the whole house,and found the problem (which turned out not to be a roofing issue, but a hole between the stucco and the brick of the north wall of our bungalow). When I asked how much to pay, they said "no charge." Very professional, polite and quick. I wish I would have known about them when we re-did our roof last year. In the future, I'll certainly use them.

Roofer came out same day as initial call. He found and fixed the cause of the leak and fixed the same problem on other vents. He called the next morning to me about the work and said there would be no charge.

We are so pleased with this company. When we need a new roof we will DEFINITELY call this company!

The job went well. It was completed in a reasonable amount of time. The team doing the job was very professional. The houses are very close together in our neighborhood. The old roof tear-off was a very messy job, and they were respectful of our neighbors property as they did the job. A skylight was damaged during the job, but they repaired it (we haven't had any problems with it). The new roof looks great, and we are happy with the service we received.

The experience was fine. The work was good and arranging everything was easy. They came on time to do the job. I would hire them again in the future.

Reitz came out within a couple of days of our initial call to evaluate a leaking area of the roof where a patch had been done by the prior owner and pointed out that some of the flashings around vents had deteriorated due to weather. They sent us the estimate via e-mail. They came back and performed the work in the time and cost originally estimated. Both the estimator and workman were pleasant and cleaned up the job site when complete. We will use them again if we have the need.

They were very responsive and respectful, they were very professional. They came 3 times to inspect and they did not charge us for it. They did a good job very quickly and on time.

They gave us a very reasonable estimate, did the work on time, stuck to the estimate, and cleaned up afterward.

They were clean, very nice, and worked hard. They did a very good job and I would use them again, but hopefully will not need to because the installed a fifty year roof. They had the lowest bid and did a thorough job. They showed up when they said they would and were done in under two days.

They came while I was at work, so I didn't have to take any time off. They did an excellent job. They matched the 12 year old shingles very well. They had called and said they were coming on Wednesday, but didn't. It was raining Thursday, but they came and did the work Friday. I was too busy at work to remember to call, but since I didn't have to miss work I didn't care.

Did not have to wait long to have the work done and it was completed on the scheduled day. Minor problems, required them to return, but this was handled promptly and to my satisfaction. Overall, I was very pleased with the work.

Their pricing is reasonable, they are close by, and they are responsive when I can get a hold of them. It has been a good experience, there are a few things that they still need finish, but overall, we've been pleased.

Very timely, efficient and excellent craftsmanship. Any lapse time problems were county inspection scheduling.
