 + -1 moreHe is good. He calls me every year and asks me if I want wood and gives me a price. And if need it, he delivers it when he says he is going to. It's usually the right amount. He is fine. I've been dealing with him for many years and he is an old guy, and every year I wonder if he is going to call again! But I'm happy with him. He is reliable. He delivers when he says he is going to. His price is fair - it's hard to say, because I don't really shop with anybody else because I know what I'm getting.
Description of Work: I have been using Nick's Firewood for years. It costs $250, I think, for a half quarter of firewood. He dumps it on my driveway for me.

Description of Work: I called Nick to find out about odd sized firewood. He was very helpful in the beginning, but did "Exactly" what I was looking for. He did mentioned that he had some firewood that was smaller than normal. This is what i was looking for, but it wasnt sized or stacked, yet. I told him i was going to call around and see if anyone else had a more uniform size 12-15" wood that was a little more stackable and 2"-15". He told me if i was price shopping then "Never call him back again, That he was trying to help and he did want to service someone who was price shopping." Wow what can i say. Funny thing was; He never gave me a price, that was what worrried me he said Bring a trailer down and we could figure out a price. So you understand, I own a company that survives on customer service and we get leads all the time through Angies list. Secondly, I have never written a bad review for anyone prior to this. This Ole guy is just "Salty".

 + -1 moreThe wood was dry and we never had any issue with them delivering on time and stacking it perfectly. They even brought out a wreath with a Christmas delivery one year. They are fantastic.
Description of Work: Had wood delivered 3 times a winter for 2 years. They brought a half cord each time.
