It was difficult to contact them, the phone was rarely answered. I bought the $199 gutter special, but then had to pay an additional $288. I don't know if it was a good deal or not because the owner refused to supply me with an itemized bill! They had to come back out for a bracket that was missed; no big deal, they took care of it. The day of install went like this they showed up and were friendly. I went over the job with them, and I assumed they would do the same with me. The just disappeared when they were done. I came out to find this coax cable laying on the ground, and it had been freshly cut. I check the TV and it was working fine so I assumed it was some old let over cable so I took it the rest of the way down. I forgot about the TV in the living room that we seldom use.; yes it was out. I also found a few screws in the driveway, and a piece of scrap aluminum that they missed. I wouldn't trust them to come back out and fix the cable, so now I have to pay Dish to come out and repair it! No. I will not use this contractor again!!!

MHEC was very professional and prompt. When I contacted them, they returned my call very quickly and were able to come out the next day to assess my situation. One of the things that I found to be the most satisfying was the personal attention that owner LaPrell showed by coming out to my home not only for the estimate but on the work day as well. She personally made sure that all aspects of the contract were completed and that I was completely satisfied. I am happy to say that my roof is repaired and I was very happy with this company.

They came as promised, took a look at the problem, explained what they thought needed to be done and we agreed on a cost. They fixed it. I've referred some additional business to them. The company owner, LaPrell came with her crew to ensure they did a good job. Nice people. Good work.

They repaired the downspouts around my house to point in the right directions. My home insurance had a problem with the gutters on the house. MHEC was very quick to respond to my needs. Scheduling was easy and communication went well. They did the work while I was out of town (because I need it done quickly) and then picked up payment when I returned from my work trip. The work was great. Would use again.

Mile High Exterior Construction was friendly and professional from first contact. They did an excellent job repairing sofit damage and installing new gutters on my house. Definitely good people to work with.

I purchased a $99 for $200 worth of gutter repair or replacement from Mile High Exterior Construction (MHEC) on 11/16/14 on Angie’s List. Angie’s List required me to schedule 3 different days for someone to call and come out to inspect my gutters and give me an estimate on repairs. I ended up calling MHEC on 11/20/14 as I had not heard from anyone in 4 days. When I called MHEC, I spoke with the gentleman who said he would be the one to do the inspection and repairs, and he said he didn’t know they were running a deal through Angie’s List, but that they would have to honor the deal anyway. He said he would have to have the person who schedules appointments call me back to setup that appointment for him to come out and check my gutters. I told the gentleman that I know the gutters need replacing, but couldn’t afford complete replacement at this time, and asked if they could just get me through the winter, and was told that would not be a problem. **At this point of the conversation, I am a happy customer. Here is where everything started to go downhill. When I received the call back from this gal at MHEC, she was very apologetic about me purchasing the deal when they didn’t even know it was still running on Angie’s List, and that MHEC doesn’t even work in my area. They are located in Westminster, Colorado and I live in Littleton, Colorado. She continuously blamed Angie’s List for not having the areas they work in listed on their site and said she couldn’t make changes as the site was under construction. This went on for about the first 10 minutes of the phone call. Not very professional at all. She insisted that I contact Angie's List and see if I could request a refund on this deal or have it transferred to another company that is offering a deal on Angie’s List for the same services, and she would also call Angie’s List to make sure their site was updated appropriately. The “fine print” of MHEC’s deal that I purchased does not specify certain locations of service. She said she would have to check with her adjustors to see if they could make a “one time” exception by having someone come down to my house to do the repairs. She said she would call me back and let me know. **Now, I am not a happy customer. I received a call from LaPrell Wade the owner at MHEC who this situation was escalated to about a half hour later, and she was going to work on getting this resolved. She told me she spoke to the other gal on how things were being handled, and said that regardless of the situation, things need to be resolved with the consumer as it is not the consumers fault that they didn’t have their website on Angie’s List updated with their “working locations”. Again, apologetic for this ordeal. I told LaPrell that I have purchased from Angie’s List before and I always check to make sure companies work in my area before purchasing a deal, and their deal did not have any restrictions on locations, and this was the reason I purchased the deal in the first place. She told me she would give me a call back later on Friday, November 21, 2014. Around 3pm, I received a call back from LaPrell, again apologizing for what happened regarding the Angie's List deal, and said she would honor my purchase. LaPrell commented on how important her reputation is with having an A rating on both Angie's List and the BBB and with no complaints on the BBB. LaPrell said she would call me on Monday, November 24, 2014 to schedule an appointment for Tuesday or Wednesday of the same week to come out and do the repairs that I am asking for. Monday, November 24, 2014 I never heard from LaPrell to schedule the appointment. I ended up calling MHEC at 3:40pm and a gentleman answered the phone. When I asked for LaPrell, he asked who was calling, when this information was passed to LaPrell and she answered the phone, she told me that she was out of the office that morning, and apologized for not contacting me. An appointment was scheduled for Tuesday, November 25, 2014 between noon and 1:30pm. LaPrell and Harold arrived at 1:50pm to perform the work on my gutters. LaPrell is very nice and professional, and is living up to our original conversation. I have many repairs that need to be completed on the exterior of my house, and LaPrell did mention that when I do have the gutters replaced, that the facia will also need to be replaced. When I do have the work done, to only do one section of gutter and facia replacement at time instead of looking at having all of my gutters replaced at the same time. Repair work was completed as requested with the exception of the downspout as they could not reach with the ladder they had and there was a hill. They tried to get it from the roof, but were unable to reach. **In the end, I am a happy customer.

For the most part, everything turned out well. They arrived on time, were friendly and courteous, and did the work as specified. The only issue is that his final written estimate differed from the original oral estimate that he provided. Specifically, I forgot to mention that I purchased the deal when he gave the first estimate, and he simply increased the price on the second estimate in order to offset the Big Deal discount. Thus, the price remained the same instead of decreasing.

Everyone we dealt with was very professional and they made a second trip to fix a problem that my husband wanted changed. I would work with them again should the need arise. Great people.

Mile High is great. The personnel are friendly and responsive. Workmanship is great -- responded to tweaks that I requested. Would use this business again in a heartbeat!

Mile High Exterior was very professional, prompt and friendly. They showed up when they said they'd be there and were reachable via the phone. If ever I had to leave a message they were prompt in calling me back. I would use them again.

We had several scheduling glitches. These guys were very busy due to the flood problems in the fall and we had a few miscues on appointments. However, once we finally connected, they were great and completed the job professionally and in a timely fashion.

I purchased the 200$ worth of work for 100 deal. Took them a while to make it by my house, they were backed up because of the floods in September. Also, had a little difficulty reaching them as the woman who handles the scheduling was out sick for some time. However, when they did come by it went well and the work was performed as specified. As far as work quality goes, we've had some light snows and my gutters seem to drain better but I'm holding back on final review of work quality until we get some heavy rains because I want to see if they still drain properly.

They did an excellent job, with the recent snow melt there is no sign of any leakage. They thoroughly cleaned up after finishing the work. It took some time to get the job scheduled but otherwise I was completely satisfied.

It went fantastic! As stated, they were supposed to replace two gutters on the front of house. However, prior to them doing it, I had my concrete front porch replaced. To that end, the guys that were preparing my front porch for the concrete destroyed one of the down spouts. I called Mile High and asked if they would replace that as well...this was an add on. Then, out of curiosity, I asked if they could give me some wisdom regarding gutter guards. I have a silver maple and some other kind of tree in my front yard. When they drop the leaves, they go all over the place and into the gutters. They gave me some advice on gutter guards and so I had them add the gutter guards to the two gutters they were replacing. The color of the replacement gutters were so close to the original, I don't think I'll have to repaint them. They were courteous and prompt. They called me to tell me the guys were on the way to the house. When they were done, they called and told me. Would I use them again? Yes, I plan having them put gutter guards on the rest of the house next summer.

Failed to show a couple of times (due to demand at the time I was told) but did a great job at a great price and we are happy with the work.

The process to get an estimate was based on a conversation with them and a set of pictures I sent. The estimate provided seemed reasonable and all conversation with them where handled very professionally. Unfortunately after a consultation with a roofer, I was informed that I needed to replace that section of the roof in order to accommodate the gutter. Since this was an expensive proposition, I decided to postpone all the work until next year. Nevertheless, Mile High was very responsive and professional, so I will keep them in mind for future work.

Came in higher than bid. Said he would come back and fix down spout, never did. Didn't build diverter like he said he would. New gutter works fine. Overall just ok.

They visited the house and gave me an estimate, which I approved. I have never heard from them again. I have left a message on their answering machine, but have received no call back.

Getting a contractor isn't always easy, this experience was wonderful!!! The call to the front office and getting a quick appointment wasn't a problem. The service tech showed at the time I was told they would, my roof was inspected to find the cause of the leak I had and to see if any other problems could be found. The work to replace a flange around a vent and above the front door was completed the very next day as promised!!! FAST, FAST, FAST!!! and professional. I can't thank you enough.

I am amazed that this service provider is "highly rated", as our experience with them was very poor. They contacted us after we purchased the Big Deal, and they did come out to our home. However, from there the situation went downhill rapidly. The service provider told my husband he would be back the next day to fix our gutters. However, he only looked at the gutter from the ground, never getting on the roof to look at what needed to be fixed. He told us that we would have an estimate by email that afternoon. We never received the estimate. My husband called the service provider no less than three times to find out what time they were coming out the next day and to inquire as to where the estimate was. We received no response. The next day my husband received a call from the service provider. stating that he would not be out that day due to a "medical emergency". That is the last we heard from them, even after multiple attempts to contact them. I finally sent them an email advising that I would be requesting a full refund of my purchase, and they didn't even respond to that email. In my opinion, this service provider is extremely unprofessional. Maybe they are so busy they don't need our business, but they could have advised us of that. I would never recommend this company to anyone who wanted to have work done on their gutters or roof.

It was a bit difficult to schedule my appointment. The deal was so good that they were very busy. But, at all times, they were professional and responsive. When the appointment time arrived, they were prompt, courteous and professional. The three gentlemen worked quickly and did a great job replacing a downspout and checking all my gutters for possible issues. It was a pleasure to work with this company. I will definitely use them again.

They submitted a bid about a week later than promised. The bid seemed very high. I do not know how he figured the bid, as he took no measurements. We declined the bid.

Not well as we paid and nothing was ever completed.

After much miscommunication, Harold and his crew from MHEC came out and personally took care of the gutter that had come off the house and cleaned all the gutters. When they finally got here they were very professional and I would use them again.
