Description of Work: They replaced the gutters as I asked in October 2015. I listed my house in January and in the inspection I found out where they installed the gutters, everything was leaking into the house. I called them to see if they would come out to look at it and these are the responses I got she I asked for the contact person LaPrell: We're changing offices right now. So she's not in. Call back in an hour. I called back after an hour and was told by someone else She's in a meeting right now. I will have her call you back. It's been 3 weeks and NO ONE has called me back. The repair costed me $1800."

MHEC is a company that has worked very hard for 26-years to provide quality craftsmanship and [Member Information Removed] service to all customers! The customers was sent out a proposal on 6-25-15 and the work was performed and completed on 7-3-15 per our contract and final invoice attached. The [Member Information Removed] had a problem with her roof prior to contacting MHEC and our conversation. The east side house bricks clearly indicate this because the mortar had became soft and was washing out from around the bricks which the pictures attached show this along with dis-coloration of the bricks. MHEC installed a small gutter and a diverter to assure the water would flow into the new gutter instead of on the bricks; to stop any further damage to bricks or water entering the home. MHEC also installed gutter extensions on the west side of the customers home at no cost. The problem the [Member Information Removed] had was not created from our gutter being installed. This job was out of MHEC service area. The real-estate agent was the one who called not the home owner. MHEC wanted to honor Angie's List and traveled a hour and a half round trip just to honor our commitment to Angie's List. When MHEC arrived at the job location we were informed they had already hired someone else to make the repairs in order to get a roof certification. A courtesy call was never given to MHEC that there was no need to come out to look at the roof to see if it was certifiable. The home owner did not even know who our company was and what we were doing there. Respectfully, MHEC

Description of Work: Called them to set up appointment on Friday morning. They collected and verified my contact info and said they would call me back with Saturday appointment time but never called me back. When speaking with them on the phone it seemed they have difficulty with scheduling as the person answering the phone should be able to schedule appointment but did not. So beware you may get the run around.

To All Consumers who are reading this review from Consumer (deleted member name) 7-27-13. This consumer has 3” gutters that are at least 25-years old. When the estimator knocked on the consumer door there was no mention that all he wanted was for them to be cleaned. The gutters were in such a shape as there was nothing we could do for them. Instead of just taking the consumers money he was informed since he was not ready to replace the gutters on his house that he could get a full refund for the special he purchased from Angie’s List. Description of Work: I called on Tuesday, June 4th for an estimate to replace all my gutters. I was told by the person on the phone that the guy would be coming by my house some time that day. No appointment was set. A couple hours later as I was getting out of the shower he shows up and knocked on my door. I explained to him that I had no appointment time and could not meet with him at that time so he went ahead and looked around to give my an estimate. A week later I have not heard from them. I tried calling them this morning several times and the phone just rang and rang.....not even an answering machine!! If you can't get them to respond to you regarding an estimate I can't imagine how it would be to work with them.....no thanks!

To All Consumers who are reading this review from Consumer (deleted member name) 6-10-13: The consumer stated that she had no appointment with Mile High Exterior Construction. That is correct because she stated she would be at home that day. I informed the consumer that I would call the estimator to see if I could add an estimate to his schedule. If so he would be stopping by at some time that day. The consumer did not decline this and no set time was needed. The estimator just happened to show up as she was getting out of the shower. The consumer did not tell the estimator it was not a good time. The consumer called back to the office and the receptionist answered the phone. The consumer stated she wanted an estimate with her removing the gutters and one with MHEC performing all work. The receptionist informed the estimator of this. If a call is missed or MHEC receives a call outside of normal business hours we have an answering machine that has our personalized business message on it so that all calls are never missed. Every consumer that calls MHEC is a valued customer. The consumer also stated that she never received a bid from MHEC. Below is the original email sent on the very same day June 10, 2013 of the estimate with the proposal attached. It has everything to prove MHEC responded by email to the consumer. MHEC even contacted Angie’s List to forward this email to assure them that the consumer was in deed contacted. The consumer email address is not listed for her privacy rights are being protected by MHEC. MHEC takes pride in the work we do and time to assist our customers with the utmost respect. All the work was done effectively, professionally and timely. I will definately call them when I need my roof replaced.
Description of Work: The facia board and 36ft of new gutter was replaced, all gutters were checked and repaired. The awning was reattached, and metal strips installed to prevent future damage on two houses.

Excellent- repair was easy. Harold was kind and professional. Tracey in office was very helpful. I had to call again this summer for another repair. They suggested I contact my insurance. Tracey handled the entire claim for me.
Description of Work: Repaired leaky roof, also went over roof to secure loose shingles. 3 year warranty on work.
