When I asked him to explain what he meant, he said "do you want me to do a fix with like rubber-bands and bubble gum". Enough said. Seems guys like this are less afraid of the light and are crawling out of the woodwork. Must be the Trump effect.
Description of Work: I needed a tray under washing machine to be replaced. The machine is heavy, I needed another hand. Simple project.

Communication was good, we kept in touch up until the day before he was supposed to come over to do the installation. Day of, he showed up early and got to work right away. The closet kit he installed looks great and was installed faster than I thought! Prices were reasonable, I will be calling him again for future needs.

He has email and I email him my wish list and he told me when is available and it is going to be an ongoing working relationship. He really is very honest and goes by the clock. I would continue to use him.
Description of Work: I used Full Time Servants Inc for handyman services about a month ago. I had him come out to do the immediate jobs that I needed done, which was replacing broken kitchen faucet, he fixed that with the faucet which I bought on myself. He ran my water line from my ice maker which made our life better.

+ -1 moreMy experience was kind of mixed. My husband actually supervised their visit. He thought they were good and asked them to do more work. I came home and I wasn't happy. The Big Deal was for a set number of hours and my husband wanted them to finish the work so we paid them for extra time. We had a crack in the living room ceiling and whatever he mudded it with, it didn't blend well with the other texture so it was a real obvious repair as opposed to what we were after. Some of the drywall mud had dripped onto the carpet. It just wasn't cleaned up after. In my mind, what I was thinking was a drywaller and drywaller tend to come in on a house that is not finished and they get to be pretty sloppy. But this was work being done in a finished home so I was expecting more. I was anticipating that after he fixed the crack and textured it we would be painting over it. I didn't expect to find a mess on the floor and have to do some clean up. My husband thought that they did a reasonable job. Not a great job but a reasonable job. My husband said they were late but it was justified.
Description of Work: I last used a Big Deal with Full Time Servants in April or May to fix some cracks in our drywall. We wanted them to fix the cracks, and blend it in. Some of the paper tape had come loose in the corners and we wanted them to fix that.

+ 0 moreFull time Servants were wonderful. They showed up on time and were amazingly polite. The spot in the ceiling was in a very awkard spot, and they managed to work it out. We have textured walls and they stayed over to make sure the work was dry before applying the texture. The finished product was amazing. I will use Full Time Servants again for any of our dry wall needs and would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: A death wish. The owner installed new address numbers over the garage and left 3 huge holes. The owner said he fixed the back door which was not level. I checked behind him after he left, his method of leveling the door was putting his own business card " full tie servants" in the whole and so his method of leveling and fixing the door was using his own business card. I pulled the door open, checked to see why the door was leaning again after only a couple of days after he left, i pulled out 3 of his own business cards. I was to meet him at Homedepot to look at closet ideas. I waited for 30 minutes in the closet department, then called him on his cell phone, he said he got tied up by traffic, so i began to walk around the store, i found him by the hot dog stand eating a hot dog and chips ( clearly he wasn't stuck in traffic ). He stole my light fixtures that were replaced. He took 2100.00 of my money and i got nothing for his services. There is still 3 whole in front in the stucco over the garage. A death wish and lacks honesty 100%. Everything he told myself and my husband was a lie. I never had any work completed in my closet yet he has 2100.00 of my hard worked money. I cannot believe he is in Angie's List. Everyone cannot believe every contractor/ trustworthy.

He missed a fine detail; I saw a corner of old paint still sticking out and it really should have been removed. I don't know why he missed that. He even went to the store to and from my work site to pick up some paint for me; he did not have to do that, so that's really working with me.

+ -1 moreI bought the $59 deal from Angie's List for two hours of handyman services. After some initial confusion confirming my appointment, Kjell came out and asked me for a list of what I wanted done. He made sure I got my two hours' worth of time out of him.
Description of Work: Kjell and his assistant did some odd jobs around the house that I asked for, including fixing a door that wouldn't close properly and installing three lights on the outside of my house. I'm pleased with the work and would definitely call again should the need arise.

+ 0 moreI had been told by more than one person that porcelain tile was tricky to drill through without cracking, so I decided to hire the work out. I needed the work done asap, and even though Kjell was scheduled up for the week, he was able to accommodate my tight schedule by working the job late in the afternoon. The job took about 45 minutes to complete. He used a hammer drill to make the holes for the screw anchors. He then completed the installation of the shower curtain rod and finished the job.
Description of Work: Kjell drilled holes through a new porcelain tile tub surround to install a shower curtain rod, and completed the installation.

Description of Work: I asked Kjell to come to our home and extend out natural gas line. Kjell was right on time and was very professional. I showed him what we wanted and we headed down to the basement to see what needed to be done. Once Kjell saw what the job entailed he informed me that the job was much bigger than we anticipated and it would be way over our budget. Kjell gave us several options to get the job done and when we are ready to move forward we will definitely call him to complete the job. He was very helpful and we will use him for all of our Handyman needs.
