This company is a complete fraud that stole my deposit despite never doing a single hour of work!! I contracted with them for $15k+ in landscaping work that included retaining walls, patio, fire pit and fencing. I signed my contract on June 23 and the project was to begin on July 19 and take up to 8 days total. He also collected a deposit at the time. They never showed up and they never provided a start date. I patiently worked with them and their office manager, Janet McMillin, but all she ever did was say they would get back to me. Finally, on Sept 7 I told them to cancel the project and refund my money. More than a month later, they still refuse to refund the deposit or even respond. To be clear, not a single bit of work was ever done and it is now Oct 15. They didn’t even kick around a pile of dirt. I am pursuing action against them and would welcome hearing more stories and working with you. Please email me at FRSR.Fraud @gmail.com to learn more.

As the Sales Associate on the project, I would like to set the record straight on his project. From the very beginning of meeting with Mr. [Member Name Removed], he had no idea what he wanted from a design perspective for his yard, which is normal and perfectly fine, but I had to make several designs and several trips to his house to discuss design ideas. He eventually hired another designer but the other designer that he hired had several mistakes on their design and there was absolutely no scale to the design. I then proceeded to make several more designs based off the other designer’s perspective drawings. Mr. [Member Name Removed] and I discussed that my designs, meetings, and overall time were rolled into the cost of the overall project if he were to go with our company. At this point, he assured me that he was going to proceed with his project with our company. After several hours spent with Mr. [Member Name Removed] to confirm a design, an Installation Agreement Contract was sent over to Mr. [Member Name Removed] for his review. Approximately one month after receiving the Contract he contacted me and said that he was ready to go ahead and start the project. The first step on the project was to contact our certified and licensed Master Plumbers to start the permit process that is required by the city for Mr. [Member Name Removed]’s project. Mr. [Member Name Removed] was informed on 7/27/21 when meeting with me and the two contracted plumbers, that the city had been in a “back logged” status for quite some time. This was no fault of the plumbers, nor our company. At this point, our company and plumbers had spent much time to obtain a permit for Mr. [Member Name Removed]’s project. Mr. [Member Name Removed] cancelled the project on 9/7/2021. Although we have an A+ rating on the BBB and are accredited, our company should not be held accountable for the delayed process from the city, for their required documents, to be issued a permit. Mr. [Member Name Removed] has had family members call my personal cell phone to harass me, has sent numerous negative and threatening emails to me. Offered Mr. [Member Name Removed] refund of $ 132.00, he refused. Matt Walker

Horribly unprofessional & unresponsive. We had sod installed that is of very poor quality & they won’t do anything about it. Thousands of dollars spent without any accountability by Eric, he’s just collecting his money & running.

We do apologize that you feel we have installed a grass that has more weeds then grass. However, after being in business for over 25 years we can say that is not the case, as we have sent you numerous articles as well as photos, even the sod company looking at and responding the same. What is going on with your lawn is completely natural seedheading and happens to all Kentucky Blue Grass. Below is a description of what is going on to your lawn (From the Colorado Turf Assoc.) Kentucky Bluegrass (Latinized as Poa Pratensis) is one of the most abundant turf-grasses in the United States. While bluegrass isn’t native to North America, we’ve taken it and made it our own. It’s one of the most popular grass varietals due to two major factors – that it tolerates cold weather really well and that it grows via rhizomes. “Rhizomes!” you say. Yup, rhizomes. Rhizomes visually resemble roots but play a much different role. Kentucky Bluegrass send their rhizomes through the soil parallel to the surface, and every so often will generate a “node”, from which sprouts up new grass. Many other grasses require seed to germinate new grass, but Kentucky Bluegrass can spread and thicken by either seed or their rhizomes. Each year about this time...(May - June), the soil starts to warm up to a point where Kentucky Bluegrass seed would germinate. Reports vary to exactly what the soil temperature needs to be to germinate seed, but 50-70 degrees is the window, with 60-65 seeming to be the most popular. Since seed would successfully germinate, Kentucky Bluegrass naturally produces it, thus the weedy appearance. With proper germination conditions, germination takes 7-10 days. Once ground temps exceed 70-80 degrees, germination drops off significantly, if not completely. In our proverbial neck-of-the-woods, Kentucky Bluegrass only goes to seed once a year. So while your lawn may appear to be infested with weeds, you now know it isn’t.

The project was a stamped concrete patio that was a combination of a new pour and a overlay over a existing concrete pad ( the salesman assured us that this would be no problem ). Within a day or two of the completed project a crack outlining the entire overlay appeared. FRSR was contacted and they eventually sent out a couple of workmen who pushed some colored grout into the entire crack, this did absolutely nothing and the crack immediately re-appeared . In addition to the huge outline crack, the overlay began delaminating from the pad and other large cracks began to appear in the poured concrete, mostly concentrated near the overlay. After many attempts at communicating ( FRSR does not take phone calls, they employ a answering service to forward messages ) another crew came out and for some reason resealed the entire patio, this also did absolutely nothing and even made the obvious delaminating look worse! After once more pleading with this company to repair this problem a workman showed up and confirmed that the overlay needed to be replaced. This work was never done. After exhausting all attempts at trying to contact someone from this companies management team I filed a complaint with the BBB. FRSR is not a member of the BBB ( their current rating is a C- there ), but the BBB did try to facilitate a resolution to this problem to no avail. I retained a lawyer who sent out a letter to FRSR asking them to address the issue, there was no reply from FRSR. I considered taking them to small claims court but even after winning the case there is no guarantee of collecting any damages awarded from the company, so I did not pursue that course. I have had several concrete contractors come out to look at the patio, all agreed there is no fixing the overlay issue, the only solution is to tear out the entire patio including the pad that was overlayed and re-pour the entire job. All the contractors also expressed amazement that FRSR would even attempt and combination overlay/new pour, they stated that such a procedure was doomed to fail since the overlayed pad and the new concrete were essentially two different pours and cracking was guaranteed. I have been saving money the last couple of years and will have job re-done by a reputable company with good reviews. I will say that I am amazed they are still in business and am even more amazed that they are listed on Angie's List,.I hope this review ( apparently the first to be submitted on Angie's List ) will save someone the heartaches of dealing with this company. If you are reading this, please don't take my word for it, go to Yelp or the BBB and read the reviews there and save yourself money and trouble.
