I was in the market for a new pc and the treatment I received has led me to the best purchase of my career. He never charged me anything until the job was done and offered advice and assistance throughout. I won’t go to another shop, Alex is the only consultant I need. Thoroughly impressed!

Description of Work: As a result of my ignorance of how my laptop works, I mistakenly locked myself out of my computer.I took it in to F1-Systems, and spoke with Alex there. He assured me he would be able to help.I left my laptop with him for about an hour and he was able to clear my access to it. I would definitely use F1-Systems again, and hope to take a class or two in the future.

+ -1 moreI am not computer savvy. i was a social worker for 20 years and didn't need to use a computer until now. They were very patient with me. Geek Squad told me there was nothing they could do to fix it and tried to sell me a $500 computer. Warren from F1 said he would take a look. It took him an hour and he fixed all of the problems with the machine. He walked me through what he had done and how to keep the computer in good shape. He even offered to assist me in the future over the phone if I had problems. He was very knowledgeable and had been in the computer business for 30 years. He was a very nice man and treated me with respect. I cant say enough about this man or my experience with F1.

+ -1 moreHe dropped everything and took care of my problem on the spot. He has helped my many times. He is a one man IT department. There is nothing on a PC he cannot fix. His fees are low. Quality and promptness are impressively good. We are blessed to have Warren of F1 Systems in our community. I would otherwise have to abandon my computer!
Description of Work: Warren patiently helped me remove an obnoxious repetitive pop up ad about my "computer may be infected". I was unable to turn off the pop up and it prohibited me from using my computer. He removed it for me and taught me how I can remove it in the futures (since it has come back several times).

I thought the price was fair enough. I did take it there one day and picked it up the next day. It was pretty fast. I would use him again in the future.

+ -1 moreThey were very thorough. Everything turned out great. It took them one day to complete the job. I got it there in one day and picked it up the next day. The cost was not much. They were good, fast, jovial, and knew what they were doing. Most of them do not have a clue on what they are doing, but these guys really did. I would definitely recommend them.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job. I would definitely use them again. The cost was reasonable. The computer was at its normal rate sometimes I think the carrier that we have or the company we have is slow; that would not have been their fault. It is running like normal. It wasn't a factor that they will improve the speed. I thought that the guys there are very knowledgeable. They knew better than me what needed to be done because I'm not that literate on computers. I certainly trusted them and I thought they did a great job. They were very quick.
Description of Work: I took a couple of computers there one is to take everything off on an old computer and another one to clean up the hard drive of the computer. The first time that I've used them I had them take stuff off an old computer hard drive so they put them on discs for me. It was like retiring an old computer. But the second time that I've have them cleaned my computer froze up from a virus; I had them clean my computer from viruses and it was just fine.

Description of Work: Had to put in a drain from the window well into a pipe running under the floor and subsequently to the sump basin. Installed a sump pump to pump the water from the basin out of the house This required jack hammering out a piece of the existing concrete basement floor.

+ -1 moreWhen Warren Stott arrived he never asked me what was wrong with my computer. He just told to go to my room and not bother him. I let him know that the computer was not sending emails. He wanted to see the provider's black box, so I had him follow me to the basement. He disconnected the black box, dropped it on the floor, and told me it was broken anyway, and I would need a new one. He went back into the office, and said there was a lot wrong with the computer, and for me to stop talking and to leave so he could fix it. I went into my room for about a half an hour, and when I went back into the room I found him sitting in front of the computer looking out the window. He said he would need to take my computer home to repair it where he had the necessary tools to fix it. I also asked if he could clean my 2 year old expensive printer. He said he would return the next day and everything would be working. He arrived the next afternoon with my computer, but not my printer. He said that a 2 year printer was too old and I thought he may have taken it to the dump. I asked if he could wait a moment while I sent an email, but he said he had several other appointments, and wanted his money. I gave him a check for $125. He took it, ran out of my house, came back and threw the broken black box at my front door. It made a big BANG!
Description of Work: He came to my house and told me to go to my room and he would fix my computer on his own.

+ -1 moreWe had picked up a Malware and our whole system crashed but the technician got it up and running again. They kept our computer for about a week and are very knowledgeable. The technician told us what had happened ,removed the problem, cleaned up our computer and did a nice job. Anytime I call them they answer; they will even walk me through things over the phone rather than have to take it in. We really recommend Nick, the technician. He is very personable and even though I don't understand computers he does not make me feel stupid. He is very thorough and if there is some reason they can't get my computer fixed on time they call to let me know. I will use them again in the future.

+ -1 moreDO feel free to call F1 Systems for help. Even though we are pretty "illiterate" when it comes to fixing things on our computer, they never made us feel "less than" for our lack of knowledge. These gentlemen are professional and honest.
Description of Work: We can't begin to say how much we appreciate Warren and Nick at F1 Systems! Kudos to Angie's List for providing great information in helping us find F1 Systems. Our desktop was hijacked over the holidays and after reading reviews on Angie's List, we decided on F1 Systems. When I spoke to Nick he asked me what the problem was and explained that rates would be more affordable if we brought our tower in for them to work on, rather than them coming to our home. When I arrived at F1 Systems, Nick explained what happened to our computer and gave me an estimate. I especially appreciated the fact that he was forthright in letting me know, that because of the holiday, that the time frame may be a few days out. Upon picking up our computer, Warren patiently went over all that was done to correct the problems: hijacked desktop, viruses, malware, updates, etc. Things worked great! Warren encouraged us to call with any questions or performances problems in the future. A couple of days later, I had trouble getting a program to open, so I called Nick. I took the tower back over and he discovered that a virus had compromised this particular program. He corrected it at NO CHARGE. I was able to take it back home in about an hour. A big change from having things repaired at the "big box" stores! You can't beat these guys' personable service. We would definitely recommend F1 Systems to anyone looking for help with their computer.
