Description of Work: We had purchased a new swamp cooler at a big box store and called DMC Services for an estimate to replace the one on the roof. They arrived as scheduled and gave us a fair quote. They arrived as scheduled - did the job quickly, carted away the old one, and filled out the paperwork for an Xcel rebate. We felt Les was fair, prompt service, and didn't try to talk us into a more expensive unit. Would hire him again.

Description of Work: This was an Angie's List special. $85 to clean and perform a check on my A/C unit. They discovered my husband had installed the furnace filter incorrectly and showed me how to do that plus drew a diagram on the furnace itself. They also discovered that the coils to the A/C were kinked and straightened them out. My only concern was they didn't tell me they actually cleaned the A/C unit. I was having carpet installed the same day they were here and I didn't think to ask before they left. I would like to know if they actually cleaned the A/C unit as advertised. I had the service performed in the past for $69 on a special with another company, so their price was a little high for the time spent.

Description of Work: I set up an appointment with Les at DMC Services to service my furnace. He was prompt (before time!), professional and courteous. Unfortunately, I needed boiler/ hot water baseboard service, and not furnace service. I offered to pay him for his time but he graciously declined. I'm thinking of switching to a furnace when we redo our 1930's house and have Les come back for that installation! Thank you Les for your professionalism! Colleen Grafa Boulder CO

Description of Work: Although they say they have 24 hour 7 day a week emergency service, I called a little after 5 on a Saturday and left a message asking for a return call. No one EVER returned my call. They need to make sure they indicate that they are not available after hours and have no emergency after hour service, as their listing is misleading.

Description of Work: Air conditioner wasn't working. The tech came, indicated that it was too frozen and instructed me on defrosting it overnight. Came back the next day, determined the issue very quickly, fixed it and left everything working and clean. He was very helpful in directing us to ways to use the AC more efficiently. I would definitely call them again for future HVAC issues. A+

Description of Work: I requested a cleaning and checking of my home AC system. I had a new heating vent from an existing duct installed in the basement. I requested sealing of duct connections around the furnace.

Description of Work: I had them repair a broken pipe to an outside faucet. He was finished in a shot time.

Description of Work: My air conditioner was not cooling as much as it usually did. Leslie Carter checked it out and it was that the coils were full of cottonwood tree seeds. He had to take the outside cover off and wash it down with the hose.

Description of Work: Furnace, humidifier tuneup and cleaning. Provided some minor plumbing revisions on the humidifier also. Gave recommendations on how better to maintain the system for better efficiency.

Description of Work: It was the dead of summer, temperatures so high I didn't even want to think about going outside but I had to because inside the house it was miserably hot and humid. I called someone that I knew from my local Chamber of Commerce and they came out that same day. Les introduced himself and with the fleet of a thousand elves, fixed my air conditioning so fast I thought his name was Speedy Gonzales. I needed a new ''contactor'', which he had in his van, and got my house cooling within an hour of his arrival. You can't beat that!

Description of Work: Installed thermopile pilot assembly which we provided (not included in above amount) and checked gas fireplace. Could not open gas valve. Does not carry those repair parts, so recommended another company.
