I called Les on Friday . He was out of town and wasn't available until Monday. On Monday he said he would be here between 11 and 12. He showed up at 11.30 with his trainee in tow. Les went to work right away, found the igniter was cracked. He replaced it and made sure the furnace was working fine. He put everything back together and was out the door in about 30 minutes. There was no charge for this. He is very professional, as was his trainee (his son, who asked where my cat was and proceeded to pet him while his dad did the final cleanup). I will be recommending Les and his company.

He was very professional, answered all of my questions. Fit me in within Few days. For a job that was severely needed right away. He was also very personable. And he gave me a nice Angie`s List discount. He removed all debris and left anything I asked him to leave. It was a nice experience, much faster than I expected. I would use this company again for other heating and cooling or electrical needs.

I called and he was there the next day to do a free estimate. Then about a week later he came back to install a new furnace.

Les called about 1/2 hour prior to the appointment to let me know he was running late due to heavy traffic out of Lakewood. He then sent me a text about 10 mins before he thought he would be here to let me know he was stuck in traffic on I-25. Les showed up about 20 minutes after the original appointment time. Not bad for traffic and distance. Les checked the functionality of my furnace. Noticed some things that are wrong and let me know what would need to be corrected and/or watched. He changed out my ignitor after performing an electrical test for confirmation. Appointment took less than 30 minutes. Les was very professional and courteous. He answered all the questions I had with no problems. He pet my cat on his way out. :) I will be recommended DMC Services to my family and friends that need HVAC service. I will use him when it is time to replace my furnace.

I had no heat from my furnace. Les checked the function of the furnace and confirmed it was the ignitor that went bad. He replaced it and everything went fine. I have heat again.

Mr. Carter was called at 7:00AM and was at my house at 8:30AM. He was very courteous and honest about the work he could provide. He explained in detail what needed to be done and why. Even though he had to go get the replacement part, the furnace was back working by 11:30AM. I would not hesitate to use him in the future.

Our Rheem furnace would not light. Les came out and found that the sparker had water corrosion from an improperly installed humidifier. He cleaned the sparker and pointed out how the 10 year old humidifier had been incorrectly installed, and had allowed water to seep into the furnace manifold and corroded the sparker. He did a good job and it looked like everything was OK. However, the next morning the furnace would not light. I called Les again, and he came right out to investigate the problem. It turned out that a large spider had built a nest in the condensation pipe of the furnace, and the blockage allowed water to accumulate in the pipe to the point that it was overflowing onto the manifold, inhibiting the furnace from lighting. Les cleared the spider nest and went ahead and replaced the old sparker (just to be sure). Everything has now been working just fine for nearly a month. Les was very helpful in explaininmg the issues with the furnace, and getting it repaired. We will have him install a new humidifier after the holidays. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

Replaced furnace igniter and cleared plugged condensation pipe

I set up an appointment with Les at DMC Services to service my furnace. He was prompt (before time!), professional and courteous. Unfortunately, I needed boiler/ hot water baseboard service, and not furnace service. I offered to pay him for his time but he graciously declined. I'm thinking of switching to a furnace when we redo our 1930's house and have Les come back for that installation! Thank you Les for your professionalism! Colleen Grafa Boulder CO

I called Les at DMC Services for a quote on a new furnace, and we set up an appointment to meet at my house the following day. He showed up on time, and took a look at my old furnace and thermostat. He went over my options in a very thorough and professional manner, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. He explained everything to me in a way that I could completely understand. (despite my complete lack of knowledge of furnaces) He was friendly, honest and direct. I then set up an appointment for him to install the furnace, and he was able to do it just a couple days later. He and his son came to install the new furnace, and again they were right on time. The install went smoothly, quickly, and relatively quietly. (as quiet as possible given the nature of the work) They did an excellent job! They cleaned up after themselves very well, and even did a little extra work on a couple of my vents for no extra cost, just to help me out. Les explained all of the necessary details of how to care for the furnace and how to work the thermostat to me very clearly. I opted for an upgraded furnace, and got a very good quality product at a good price. And I believe the labor costs were very reasonable. I highly recommend DMC Services!

We have an old furnace, on it's last year. The tech did try to scare sell us a new one nor thought proactivly replacing parts was a good idea on a furnace that old. Very happy with the service.

I purchased the furnace inspection/tune-up on Angie's List for $85, and Les was able to come out the same day I called to schedule an appointment. When he arrived, I also purchased an AC tune-up as well as having a B-vent pipe replaced, for a total cost of $205. Les also showed me that the existing air filter was the wrong size, installed incorrectly, and was of poor quality. I ordered the correct size and the unit works better than ever now that it's clean and has the right filter. I would definitely go with DMC services in the future and recommend them for your heating and cooling needs.

DMC DID A GREAT JOB AND HELPED ME SOLVE SOME TERM ISSUES WE HAD BEEN HAVING WITH OUR A/C. I FELT VERY REASSURED THAT OUR HEATING SYSTEM IS READY FOR THE COLDEST WINTER DAY AFTER HAVING IT SERVICED BY DMC. VERY PUNCTUAL, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL.

We wanted to install a whole house humidifier. DMC helped us assess over the phone that we did not have enough clearance around the furnace and duct work. They were very helpful.

Received a call about 5 or 6 hours after ordering the deal on Angie's list. We were able to set an appointment for the date and time that worked for us. We spoke to Les and he was friendly and professional. Tune ups were performed and we were satisfied with the service.

I contacted Les through Angie's list email. I received a call back within a few hours. He was very up front about his schedule, and communicated clearly when and how he would be able to help. Once I described the symptoms he was able to alter his schedule and drop by to diagnose what was wrong. After looking at the unit, he was able to quickly repair it, and educate me on why the failure occurred. There were several maintenance items I was not doing (like clearing the plants away from the unit) and he explained why that was a problem. He then went out of his way to explain some very cost effective ways I could increase the lifespan of my A/C unit (like buying new vents for better airflow and washing the unit from time to time) and was on his way. I kept his card because my AC Unit is very old, and my furnace will also need servicing before winter. I would recommend this company too my friends, and will use them again in the future.

It all went very well. It was especially labor intensive since much of the work took place in the crawl space beneath my home. I have a 1950 ranch style home and Les had to work with the existing ductwork and everything else and make changes where necessary. He also offered good advice on how to keep my home as cool as possible. He made a few trips to my home and was always punctual and responded quickly to my calls.

Les answered my call for service on the first ring. Appt was set up for the following day,!!! He was on time to the appointment and was very professional He kept me informed of what he was doing at every step Even brought me in a photo from his cell phone to show me what was in need of repain!!!! The bill for his services was less than I expected! I will definitely call him again=====!!! He gets a A + Thanks Angiess list----

The call to arrange service was returned quickly. Les arrived on time and quickly analyzed my A/C's problem. I recently purchased this older house and had numerous questions about the A/C - heating system. All questions were answered completely and suggestions for maintenance were also given.

Les was great to work with even though I goofed and ordered a service that was not appropriate for my needs. I paid for a maintainance on a working ac. When he arrived to find mine not operational, he opened the unit so it could thaw and canceled the service call. He was able to come back a couple days later and repair my unit. He came twice, charged me for a single call and was able to squeeze us into his schedule really fast. The bulk of the charge was to replace the Freon in my ac.He was so responsive in getting us back on his schedule, which was so appreciated as we have an infant in the house

The install was efficient and well done. The problem came afterwords. In July I had a problem with the air conditioner not working. I called DMC and he said he would come the next day. When he came, he said I hadn't set the thermostat properly and he got the air conditioner to work and acted like it was a pain that I had clled him. I paid him $82 and he left. I've had a number of air conditioners through the years, and when using the others, all that was required was setting the thermostat to "cool" and setting up a schedule for times to change the temp. That's what I had done. I still am not sure why it wasn't working. This spring the air conditioner would not start. I tried to start it and members of my family gave it a go, but to no avail. When I called DMC Services, he told me he had come before for free, which he hadn't, and that it was my fault and that it was too far to drive to come fix it. I found another HVAC guy who was really nice and he discovered there was a problem with a fuse in the air conditioner. I think that DMC Services should not be installing items and then telling people they don't want to service them.

Les arrived exactly at the agreed upon time. I told him the symptoms and he quickly assessed the situation and washed the unit off and put the proper amount of refrigerant in the unit. Even gave me a refresher course on one of our thermostats! Les is alway courteous and explains what his plan is. He is very trustworthy..... I will definitely call him again.

Arrived home at 3:00 after an extended Memoriial Day weekend to find our water heater was leaking badly. Luckily, our basement is unfinished, but still quite a mess. Looked thru Angie's List for a recommended provider that was relatively close. DMC Services was the first one I called. After expressing my need to get the heater replaced immediately, Les said he had to make a couple of calls, and would get back to me. Within fifteen minutes, he called and said he could get the job done today. He and his son arrived an hour and a half later, with a new heater, and ninety minutes later, they were all done. Very professional, knowledgable and offered suggestions to help extend the life of the new heater. Would recommend them highly.

Les arrived on a Friday and the work was complete in about an hour. We were in desperate need for a humidifier (our relative humidity was at 17%). He set the humidity at about 37%, told us what to expect, how to turn it off in the off season, where to purchase the filters, when to change them, etc. He was very thorough. Our furnace is about 15 years old, so I am sure we will be calling him again once that "goes". I have no reservations recommending him for humidifier installations.

Les came out on a very cold and snowy evening after we placed a call to him late in the evening. Our furnace had quit working and we did not discover this until we came home that evening. His callback time was less than 10 minutes and he came to our residence 10 minutes later! He was very friendly and helpful. He looked over our furnace and had it up and running in less than 15 minutes! Once again his service and work quality was superb! We would recommend him to any one of our friends or acquaintances.
