Cooper Heating & Cooling surpassed my expectations; which is tough considering my expectations. The Comfort Advisor, as they refer to their salesmen, was very professional and knowledgeable. This was our first A/C purchase and Cooper guided us along through every step of the process. The installers were the most professional, friendly and knowledgeable service men I have ever let into my house. They didn't just walk in and walk out, they introduced themselves and explained to me what they were doing. After the installation, they introduced me to my new air conditioner and showed me basic maintenance, such as where the air filter is located and recommended changing the filter at least every 3 months. They left my house clean and even went above and beyond by offering to help me move a table after seeing me struggle! My air conditioner is quiet and working properly. The salesmen and office representatives were very adamant to save me money through rebates and tax credits. The office administration even filled out most of the paperwork! I have recently been affected by the green movement and joined Cooper's Facebook page; they give a lot of good advice on maintenance and going green. I highly recommend Cooper Heating & Cooling; it is evident that they have built a company based on customer service, quality and integrity.

The salesman took a look at our furnace, electrical box, basement and current setup and gave a fairly quick bid. He emphasized a lot about the Costco guarantee and how trustworthy Costco was. He didn't seem completely focused on the job but was a little chatty, and quickly told us what we should do. The pricing was on the lower end of a number of bids we received for a swamp cooler, but we were not confident that the job would be done 100% right if they ran into complications, because he didn't examine our system very thoroughly, and we had a somewhat unusual installation of the old cooler.

As soon as we noticed our AC was not running correctly, we called Cooper and they sent a Service Tech out right away. They were courteous, professional, and prompt, which was a plus due to the extreme heat. The service tech had to make two trips, first to diagnose the problem then return to fix it, which took about two hours. After that, our AC has been working better than before and we couldn't be happier with their work.

I am familiar with this company through my job so I feel good with them. They were timely, professional, and explained their pricing very well.

I use them because they are the vendor that works with Cosco. They were really quite good. They were on time. They were very professional and seemed to do a good job. The customer service was really good. They were really excellent. I would recommend them and also recommend that if they were doing something like that then they should check through the Cosco program because it's a grey program and Cooper had been the only vendor or service people indifferently who works with Cosco. They had been pretty motivated to make sure people were happy. It's a huge contract for them.

They had to come back 3 times. The job was between average and below average. I would not use them again in the future.

I found the company thru Costco and made an appointment with their representative at the store. The salesperson was prompt, professional and also had information on rebates. We scheduled the work and it was completed quickly and professionally. I was required to get an inspection from Douglas County and passed with no problems. Overall, the replacement was easy and I'm pleased with my new furnace.

This company was awesome. I live in a high rise in Denver so this was kind of a difficult installation. They had to move a lot of duct and install a new air handler. The installers were very professional and the installation was flawless. I would highly recommend them. I have finally quit sneezing thanks to Cooper.

I was very pleased with them. They were very courteous. Their quality is good and I have not had any problems. I would recommend them to other members. I got a special deal through Cosco, but their price seemed competitive when compared to another quote I got.

I want to say that the experience was a little disappointing. I had to contact them to get the actual bid value. I decided to postpone doing the work until probably the summer. The bid process itself was not as good as it could have been. It was very superficial. I was expecting some kind of thermal review of the house to see exactly what we needed. What the salesman did was give me a price and if I had gone ahead with the proposal, they would have came out and did the thermal inspection and if the result was a smaller unit, I would have paid less and if it was a larger unit, I would have paid no more than what his original bid was. So, there was some safeguards there. I would give them a B- overall only because I had to actively pursue him to find out what the bid was. When I did call them, they were very apologetic and got the bid right out.

I first observed Cooper while in my local Costco store. They saved me additional monies by working through Costco. In addition to saving more than a thousand dollars, they promptly provided an estimate, showed up when promised, worked in a very professional manner and kept me informed throughout the day of the progress. The workers were exceptionally thorough and friendly. Upon completion of the project Cooper provided me (without my prompting) with a checklist and copy of forms necessary to obtain the various rebates associated with the 95% efficient furnace W/AC. An additional bonus and confirmation of my experience came when the city inspector arrived and had nothing but praise for the quality and thoroughness of the workmanship.

I selected Cooper to put in a new furnace after receiving quotes from Standard Renewable Energy and Save Home Heat Company. Cooper was the most expensive for the same exact furnace. For me the deciding factors was that they were backed by Costco and on the approved vendor list with Xcel Energy's home performance program. The advisor who did the initial estimate actually brought up an issue that no one else had in that the new furnace would be narrower than the previous one and the installer would have to make / install a reducer between the furnace and the A/C unit. Not doing so would create static pressure and negatively impact the A/C unit. Given that I have a mechanical engineering degree - there is some truth to this issue and I was glad to see that they at least had pointed it out. The rep mentioned that they (Cooper) are getting a lot of business through Costco and most of the installations have the same issues. Nevertheless, Cooper showed up on schedule to do the installation and it went without a hitch. They showed up wearing booties to keep my carpets clean and were very friendly throughout the process. They used a lot of duct mastic to seal up all of the ducting around the furnace as well. A few days after the install, I smelled a very faint gas smell and within 2-3 hours Cooper was there to tighten up all the gas lines. Overall - I'm happy with their work, but I think their pricing is probably higher than it needs to be since they are the Costco preferred vendor.

Everything went according to what I was told up front. One minor slip-up. Cooper did not install foam insulation on the exterior vent pipe per manufacturer's specs. I called Cooper and within a couple of days one of their employees installed the form insulation, which satisfied the county inspector. I also received my Lennox rebate within a month. My wife and I were very pleased with the professionalism and politeness of Cooper's office staff and its technicians. Not having purchased a furnace before this, we found our experience with Cooper to be very satisfactory.

The A/C installation appeared to go well. However, I found out much later, that during the install, the techs disconnected wiring to my furnace relay. Here's what happened: During the install, the techs informed me the furnace relay was "bad" and was a $400 repair. I decided to defer this repair, as it was summer. 6 weeks later, I request a written bid from Cooper for the furnace relay repair. They were unresponsive and could not generate a bid. I called Precision Heating for a "2nd opinion" on the repair. The Precision tech told me the relay was fine and that the wires were disconnected. He connected them and charged me $92 for the visit. I subsequently approached Cooper for reimbursement, as this cost, in my opinion, was their responsibility. They have refused my request and refused to take accountability for the situation.

We got a nice new furnace installed and up and running the next day, which was great, since it was February and rather chilly. A couple "off" things, the man who did the estimate told us we would be able to add an AC unit later, but the way the techs installed the furnace there was no room on top for the equipment, and they told us "those guys in the office don't always know everything, there's no room down here for AC". The techs also used our new chest freezer as a stepladder and bent the top of it, and they got a *big* blob of grease/dirt stuff on the stair carpet, which was very difficult to remove. All in all they did good work and were communicative about surprise issues, like the need to add a pump for the extra condensed water vapor since our washer currently uses our basement floor drain. An efficient estimating process for short notice, and quick installation.

Dennis and his assistant arrived on time and went right to work. They took the time to review the work that was to be performed and discuss the placement of the equipment and pipes. During the installation if I had a question they took the time to answer it. During the installation of the exhaust pipe a problem arose that prevented locating the pipe as it was planned. They discussed this with me and made sure I would be happy with the changes that needed to be made. Dennis' assistant needed to leave prior to the completion of the job. The company made sure there were other people on site to complete the job as promised. The office staff and installers at Cooper were knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with.

Good service. Helpful advice. Arrived on time, spent the amount of time advertised, and provided useful advise for future reference. I would recommend this vendor to friends and neighbors.
