It was a good experience, and everything went well.  They showed on time, did the work as promised, and were professional when dealing with me.

They are good. I am going to call them up for the spring start up of my air conditioner. I haven't used them in over a year but i will use them. They got here really quickly, the person was really professional, the price seemed fair. They came on time and were out by the next day. It was a good experience.

I'll give them A's on everything. They were wonderful. They were prompt. They were top-notch. We love these people. We discovered them through the reviews on Angie's List. They were really responsive. When our furnace went out and it was really, really cold, they came out late that evening which was beyond their hours to fix it. They couldn't fix it so we ended up having to get a whole new furnace. We asked them to give us a furnace that was the best deal for us at that point. They served us at the top of the line and made sure that what we got was the particular one they suggested. We never had any problems with it. They came out and made sure the filter was clean the following year. They checked our air conditioning well.

Cooper Heating and Cooling was pretty good. I don't recall the prices but they're all in the ballpark.  I've known them for a long time. They're always the ones who do the job.

When they came out to our home to look up the furnace and A/C, they noticed that there was no cold air return duct from part of the house...a new addition that had been put on before we moved in.  We noticed some poor heating & cooling in the house so they evaluated the air circulation system on our home and installed duct work to allow cool air return from new part of the house to the rest of the furnace so that we will get better heating & cooling.  They were able to improvise the placement of the duct work to allow efficient air return without having to interrupt our current wiring and duct work because it was an old home.   They took the effort to devise the best method without interfering with the current wiring, plumbing and duct work.

They were affiliated with Cosco which was having a fill on new furnaces and air condition...the first thing that attracted us was the quality and price of the unit because they were affiliated with Cosco.

I requested a visit from one of Cooper's sales team to go over options for a new furnace  and air conditioning unit for my house.  The sales team arrived on the 17th and spent a significant amount of time measuring my house and windows and inspecting my current furnace, and then presented me with several options for new equipment. I asked a lot of questions including about bottom line equipment and different variables that justify higher expense for different models. They answered all of the questions patiently and thoroughly.
Once I decided on a unit, they scheduled installation for the next day. The installation team was professional and clean.  They explained what they were doing and how things worked. They spent the entire day at my house making sure everything was completely set up and operating. Even though it was not part of the agreement related to the installation, they spent additional time troubleshooting and installing a thermostat that I purchased separately.
I use Cooper exclusively because they are always honest and open about what I do and don't need, fair with their pricing, and provide excellent service response and customer service.

cost about 20% more than my usual plumber to winterize my evaporative cooler, but the Cooper guy was much quicker about it and was easier to schedule before winter freeze.  How well they did will actually be known if it opens up next spring without any frozen pipe problems--but I'm assuming its all good. One oddity--I got a note 3 months after the service saying that my credit card wasn't properly charged by their bank and I still owed them. I couldn't find proof otherwise because I didn't find the charge on the record of my usually used credit card--so I paid them (again).

The service was minimal and they used the electricity in my home, which shorted the breakers numerous times. They made an appointment and didn't show up they first time. We had to tell them what to do and where to go. They didn't seem to know what to do... My husband felt like they were not really equipped for this service. I would go with a truck mounted system next time.
Response from Cooper Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric
"Dear Member, We are sorry to hear that experienced a problem with our service. There is no excuse for missing an appointment and for that I apologize. While investigating this job in our system we noticed that it was actually not for HVAC Service as you stated but was for duct cleaning which is a service that we have not offered for nearly two years and in addition the job was completed 11/11/2011 which was 27 months ago. The duct cleaning process does require power usage and if we didn't us your electrical outlets we would have to bring a large generator into your home and I think you would be more unhappy about that. It sounds as though the electrical in your home may need upgrading if the breakers shorted out numerous times. We would be more than happy to come out and give you a free estimate to upgrade your electrical panel because if it happened when we were using it I suspect it must be happening frequently when you use other appliances. We offer all electrical services. I also would like to ask you to please correct the inaccuracies in your review such as the date and the service we provided. Thank you, Rosalie Cooper Owner"

We were happy with the unit and installation.
What we were not happy with was the accounting. We provided a $4500 check as agreed upon completion. Cooper Heating and Cooling sat on the check for SIX MONTHS! The fact that we didn't notice was partly our fault, but we had a lot personal and financial chaos that summer. When Cooper Heating and Cooling called us after Christmas to ask if we had enough to cover the check, I panicked. We asked for a 20% discount, since that was what the tax penalty would be for pulling money out of our retirement. Cooper Heating and Cooling gave us a 10% break.
Despite an otherwise excellent experience, that was a deal breaker. I gave a F for professionalism since I believe that as a professional business, that error should have been caught much earlier. I also understand that while we were also responsible for not catching the error, but I believe a professional business can absorb a $450 loss a lot more easily than a family right after Christmas.

We chose Cooper to replace our furnace since they are a Costco provider and I feel Costco vets their contractors well. They also offer a Costco cash card and an Xcel rebate with our chosen unit.
The estimator was great but after install, we experienced severe vibration upstairs when unit was running. After a few calls, we got someone over who said we need the blower replaced. A couple weeks later that did occur and vibration seems to have to have stopped. We had the unit installed in May, and its now November, and I never received the rebate form that gets submitted to Xcel.
I have had FOUR conversations and left FOUR messages with Cooper about this, and although each time they promise someone will call me, no one has! I have heard that the person that used to do that left the company, the new person will call me, the new person left for the day and the message will be on the top of her desk when she comes in tomorrow, blah blah blah. VERY disappointing after spending  so much money with them. I guess they have the money so now the service isn't as imperative. Their front office staff leaves a lot to be desired. Pretty disappointed, hence the C rating. I'm just hoping I get my rebate in time for Christmas!

Disappointed with original scheduling, was a mess, ways use Kristin for setting the schedule. Once this was clear the person showed up on time. The work was not completely finished. The floor key cover on the fireplace valve was the wrong size to small and we needed to find our own solution. Had I thought about this I would held back $25.00 to pay for the item needed and my time used to solve the problem.

A/c Work-- David was very nice and there was no problem. I just think that their price was a bit high for what they did. The cost of the service call was $79

Electrical Work--Eric-- He was also very nice and was able to get my light switch fixed. The cost for the electrical work was $70.00
