In general the tile work was done with care and skill. Effort was made to keep my home clean and with minimal impact to the rest of my home. I am very pleased with the finished job, especially since the large tile work was detailed and required much hand cutting and precision laying. The second job was easier but also done with skill. I am extremely pleased with all the work Apache Stoneworks has done for me.
Description of Work: I can't comment on the price because they were subcontracted by the contractor to do the tile work. The work was tiling the floor and shower/steam surround, which consisted of the ceiling, walls, and halfwalls. The pattern used 12" marble tiles, 2 1/2" diamond tile sheets, 12x4" cut marble tiles, and accents that were hand cut. This was complicated by putting everything on the diagonal. The crew worked with precision and care because being slightly off would be very visable. The final results were wonderful. All lines were even and met up precisely. The "bow tie" accents (triangles that meet at the apex which are inlaid into the larger 12" tile) were all lined beautifully and terminated perfectly with adjoining tiles. The floor surface was level, no tile edge higher than another. They also took the time to match the veining in the marble to invoke the feeling of a slab of stone, rather than random individual pieces. Another job consisted of replacing a small powder room flooring with the same 12" marble tiles and cutting the baseboards from the tiles. A simple square pattern was done. Problems with a level subfloor came up and the tilers worked hard to correct the issues and laid the floor tiles again with precision and forthought as to how the tiles would look next to each other, lining up the veining. Follow up- I observed only one problem. A small half tile at the entry broke along the veining and needed replacing. The odd shape required precise cutting to fit. A small chip on the next tile was made during the removal and I elected not to replace that tile as well to avoid possibly damaging the floor heating wires. The replacement and chip repair was done nicely. I will have no problem in hiring Apache Stonework to do any future jobs for me nor hesitate to refer any family or friends to them.

Showed up on time (which is rare with contractors), did the job fast, professionally and flawlessly. Other guys said it could be a 2 1/2 day project due to all the cutting involved. Remo and his guy did it in 1 1/2 days. They even went so far as to replace all of the plugs and covers on the wall. Something I was prepared to do, but it was nice to come home to have it completely finished.
Description of Work: Kitchen tiling of backsplash wall. We had a customized project because we couldn't find tile we liked. So we found some really unique floor tile that only came in 17 x 26 pieces, which then had to be cut into smaller pieces to tile the wall. We checked with some different tile companies. All of whom were charging closer to $1500 or more for the same job, AND none of them really understood the look we wanted (it's definitely more modern and unique that the typical tile project), AND some of them (including the guy from Atlas Tile in north Boulder), thought it couldn't be done because he said it would be too difficult to cut the tile into uniform pieces. Remo from Apache understood exactly the type of look we wanted, said it could be done without any problems, gave us a reasonable quote, and did an absolutely flawless job. Even when we were having difficulty deciding the pattern we wanted, he was able to come up with a suggestion that he knew we would like, and he was right. We loved it and it looks amazing

I really had a great experience with the company. They were very professional and I got the results I expected. They were extremely careful and clean. I think they've done an excellent job with my patio. I would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: I had some stonework done on my patio floor. First, I hired a company to do the concrete. Once they finished Apache Stoneworks came to do the tiles, so they didn't have to remove anything. The patio is approximately 1000 square feet and they finished the job in around three to four days.
