Jason Dodge did a great job. Not only did he snake the drain in no time at all but he noticed the hot and cold water were reversed on my sink faucet and in 3 minutes he corrected it no charge! He couldn't have been nicer. I was only charged $100. for the whole thing. they have definitely become my go-to plumber!

Afford a Rooter replaced our house's sewer line about two months ago (technically, not for us but for the seller's of the house during our home purchase negotiation process), and told us we had a 5-year warranty afterwards. Then, a couple of weeks ago, our sewer line completely clogged, which caused our basement to flood and resulted in us incurring thousands of dollars in repair costs. The owners of the house vacated the house in early April, so no one was living in the house until we moved in. We had only lived in the house for a couple of weeks when this occurred, so the company’s plumber (whose name is AJ)'s explanation that "the sewer line had 3-4 weeks of clutter" made no sense. Furthermore, upon reconnecting with the sellers' last night they informed us that it was also AJ who did the repair back in May. AJ refused to honor our warranty and mentioned that the clogging "seemed malicious" in nature. We don't buy this explanation, and think something fishy is going in. I note from yelp and other websites that this exact (or very similar) situation has happened to many other clients, indicating this is a pattern and just a one off instance. We feel wronged and are incredibly disappointed in the service/treatment we have received.

Afford-A-Rooter was great to work with. I called the team with a concern about our water line and the team was responsive, professional and were willing to take the time to explain the entire process and answer all of my questions. They were reasonably priced and were able to get the job done well and quickly. I would highly recommend this team, and I would absolutely hire them again.

I had a clogged kitchen drain on a weekend, a challenging time to find a reasonably priced plumbing company. After several unsuccessful calls, I made an appointment with an expensive service for the same day. I received a call back later in the day from Jason at Afford-a Router. He answered my questions and made an appointment for the same day. He arrived at the house, reviewed and resolved the problem in twenty minutes. He was professional, answered my questions, and the charge was very reasonable, considering it was a weekend. I highly recommend their services and will use them again.

AJ was prompt, professional and extremely helpful. Got my washing machine drain working quickly!

We called on a Saturday for emergency service and within about 45 minutes the plumber had arrived. He used a roto-rooter type tool to clean out the sewer line. The work was done well and the plumber was very friendly and professional.

I called and was asked to text my contact information. I was told that someone would contact me within ten minutes. After waiting over two hours, I called again and got an answering machine. I understand that businesses get busy and can't handle all repairs promptly. If you can't help me, just tell me that so I can look elsewhere for service.

The company showed up when they said they would and completed the job within the time frame that they stated. Communication was a little rough with the field, but communication with the office was very responsive. Considering the extent of the work and the constraints within which they had to work, there was remarkably little collateral damage done. Unfortunately I was not able to witness the work before it was covered up and so I cannot comment on the quality of the installation, but can say that the company did a good job protecting the surrounding landscaped areas and seemed contentious and thoughtful in their approach to the work. I would definitely work with them again.

AJ was quick and professional and showed up several hours early. He called first to make sure we were there. All went really well. The only thingThat was a minor annoyance was since Our renter had put Drano in the sink and it never drained out, they had to charge a “acid fee” of 80 some dollars in addition to the routing charge. We understood, but it was a little annoying. However AJ was great, professional, and early.

This man Jonathan was amazing.i still need to buy a facet for my kitchen, but he went and checked everything I was concerned about. Very impressed with the service, professional service. I am one happy camper

It took a bit of work, but Ross found the best path to rod out the basement shower drain from the kitchen sink. I learned enough from the experience that I may be able to do the job myself next time.

Technician Ross did a fast and good job. The price was excellent.

On time professional,. It seems each of the companies recommended want more than quoted.

I called them out three times to look at this drain. The first guy didn't seem to think there was a problem with it, but didn't do anything to investigate. He looked at a couple other things, but never sent a quote. The second guy ran a scope, but could not see the problem, and cleaned the drain anyway. The service was around $100, which seems to be pretty standard. He suggested part of the main line was collapsed in a place he could not see with the scope. The problem got worse, so we called again to get it fixed, the third guy was a no call/ no show.

I would like to express my most sincere appreciation for the excellent work done by Anthony R. when replacing our leaking main water shutoff valve this morning. In a very tight and difficult area, Anthony worked diligently to replace the valve, taking great pains to minimize impact to an adjacent wall that was in the way, cleaned up fully and was courteous and friendly all the while. Thank you so much for a wonderful job!

Great job they were reliable and did what they said they would do.

One call to Afford-A-Rooter and A.J. was out in a few hours to confirmed the sewer issues found by the previous scope. A.J. was able to give us a quote right after his viewing of our line, and it was a lot less then we feared it would be. I will also add that A.J. had worked with us before, and can truly be trusted to tell you the problems, and fixes needed to keep things flowing smoothly. Afford-A-Rooter arrived on time to replace the broken line and tap, and even when they found parts of the line encased in cement, were able to dig a trench to replace the line, unlike the original plan to use 2 holes and a bursting technique, which would of saved them hours of time. Even with the extra digging and time the price remained the same. Félix and his crew were awesome, and left our yard looking exactly the same as it did before the repair. If you want your sewer done right, ask for Afford-A-Rooter, and A.J., for true peace of mind.

AJ, the tech, was fantastic. He communicated before arrival for an ETA, was extremely conscientious on the job and performed the service perfectly. Would strongly recommend to anyone.

I scheduled my main line to be cleaned out / "snaked" for today. I was told that the service tech was going to be at my house between noon and 1PM. The service tech (A.J.) actually showed up an hour early. AJ was great to work with, very professional, skilled and over all, a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Afford-a-Rooter. Ask for AJ! You will not be disappointed!

The job went very well. Before any replacement occurred the sewer lines were scoped one more time to verify how the replacement would occur; i.e. pipe bursting versus trenching. Ultimately both were used.

Recently I was selling my home. The inspector found some sewer line issues that caused my buyers to balk. I was under extremely tight deadlines and my cash flow was tight, to say the least. If I wasn't able to meet the deadlines, my buyers were going to withdraw and, because my contract on my new home was contingent on the sale of my old place, I would lose my new place. Afford-a-Rooter came to my rescue. Sue, Kyle and the rest of the team went far above and beyond the call of duty. They really and truly saved my contract and my sanity. The crew even took it in stride when my roommate accidentally let my Great Danes outside and they got rushed by a goofy puppy who loves everyone with a pulse. Trust me, it is intimidating to see a 100lb puppy come running at you full speed, even when he is wagging his tail and hopping around like a fool. I don't have the words to express how much they helped me. I recommend Afford-A-Rooter to anyone with plumbing issues big and small. I wish I could give them 2000 stars.

Rocky called when we was on his way, was ahead of schedule, and was very helpful throughout the process. He replaced the valve and ensured there were no leaks before he left. He provided helpful advice regarding overall plumbing as we are new homeowners.

Think again if you think that these guys only do excellent drain cleaning, they also provide top notch plumbing services as well. Rocky, our plumber at Afford A Rooter, was dispatched out the day after I called. He arrived promptly, got down to business, and kept to the estimate. We no longer have the old cast iron nightmare that required constant rubbing of the white enamel, but we have instead a modern stainless steel beauty. Rocky was friendly and despite what to me seemed like a job with some technical challenges, got it done in no time and left the area spotless.
