These guys know what they are doing. Door quality is excellent. We spent extra for the windows and insulation and just love the benefits. Natural light is better than 2 light bulbs and we don't feel the heat of 98 degree weather the way we used to. Work was done quickly and with no loitering. Courteous workers and friendly, too. We highly recommend them.

There were a couple of hiccups. First the measuring was off on the rails, but this was quickly rectified. Next during the install the installer neglected to properly cut the excess on one of the arms and as a result caused damage to top our vehicle upon pulling into our garage. We quickly called and the owner was at our residence within a few hours fixing the garage door arm and doing a check of the other 3 install doors. He fixed items the original installer neglected. Also his insurance company called within a few days to take care of the damage to our vehicle. Overall the owners professionalism that he showed us would make me recommend his company without hesitation.

I called yesterday and was able to get an appointment for 1 day later. Mike arrived early within the 2 hour window and got the job done in 1/2 hour. He was courteous, knowledgable, and diagnosed the problem quickly. He charged a reasonable amount for a tune up. I have no complaints at all.

Joe was excellent! The job turned out to be larger than he initially expected but he still got everything done in one trip in almost no time at all. He clearly explained everything he needed to do, the benefits of the opener he installed and the best way to keep the device operating long term. I trusted his knowledge and am extremely satisfied with the quality of work.

Not only did he replace the bracket but also tightened all the other bolts on the door so that it doesn't make near as much racket. It took about 45 minutes and only cost $125.00. Best $125.00 I ever spent.

They were able to send tech out same day which was great. Joe determined motor had stripped out gears due to mistake made by prior company when they replaced springs years ago. He was able to re-build motor & replaced springs with correct size. He also replaced several missing screws. Joe was pleasant & efficient. All in all job was completed start to finish in less than one hour.

It was fixed quickly and priced at a reasonable rate. I would defiantly use them again. Now I am off to do my errands :)

I called on a Thursday for an estimate and set an appointment for Monday AM. Joe arrived 15 minutes early which was awesome. We reviewed some options and I felt confident so I asked when they could perform the service. They had the door I wanted in stock so they installed it same day. Joe and another employee came back a few hours later and before I got home from work I had a new garage door. Highly recommended, I interacted with three different employees and they were all great.

I found Mike on this list and called him. He was very knowledgeable on the phone had Joe in the area. Joe was able to come by and fix it within 2 hours. Joe was very professional and quickly discovered a broken bracket that probably caused the spring to break in the first place. He fixed it and greased all the door wheels for an extra $10. With the coupon on Angie's list the bill was less than what was originally quoted on the phone to fix the spring. Thanks for the Great Service and for not gauging me on the extra part. Definitely would recommend!

Joe was awesome, saw that the springs were toast and had caused damage the opener. He also showed me where the rollers were totally worn out. He rebuilt the opener, much cheaper than getting a new one, replaced all the rollers and springs. He also fixed the backup sensor so it works much better. It is like cutting through butter now!

Everything went great-however the day we were scheduled for an appointment, the roads were dangerously icy-they called to let us know they were running late because of the traffic and road conditions-they were not able to make it in time for us that day-not their fault at all-terrible winter morning drive- and they were able to return the very next day on time and complete the job ahead of the predicted time the labor would take. Garage door works great and we paid hundreds less than our next door neighbor who recently had garage door parts only replaced by a different company (not a whole new system installed like we just had put in). Workers were considerate and courteous. I would highly recommend this company.

Took advantage of A Better Garage Door's !099 deal - a good value . added windows to it. Mike was responsive and showed up as scheduled for the estimate and job. He even agreed to demo some old shelving above the old door that would have obstructed the new door (for a small fee). Job was done efficiently in about 2 hours. Overall a good experience.

Mike, of A Better Garage Door, answered promptly, scheduled service immediately, had a fair price, showed up on time, and fixed our door. He also lubed up the other door and showed me how to program my second door so that I can open it with my keypad. Awesome!
