He took the one from the 9 foot ceiling 1st, then the one from the 14 foot ceiling, attached the necessary chain to the short one and installed it on the 14 foot ceiling, then installed the one from the 14 foot in place of the 9 foot.

The tech found the problem to be with the main breaker. once he removed it it was clear the breaker was shot. He had to run to a local box store to get a new one because the panel in our house is OLD and he was not sure that he was going to be able to find a replacement. He did and installed it and tested the entire breaker box and problem solved. I will be asking them to install some security lighting in 2013.

It appears that they are incredibly busy, I originally sent an email and made a phone call that was not returned. I was able to get through and since I was not in a rush, I scheduled out (about 2-3 weeks) on a day that worked for me since it was a 4 hour job. They did call the day before to try to re-schedule, but I explained that I had taken the day off of work so I could be present and they were able to switch things around to keep the appointment. I am really happy with the finished job. The guys were very friendly and professional. They explained everything to me as they went. It cost a little more than I had anticipated, but they were able to do work on a motion light at no charge so overall I was very pleased. I will be calling them again for any electrical needs. They returned my call 3 weeks later. I had already gotten a refund for this from Angies List. I called another electrician, and he came out within 24 hours and fixed everything.

I placed several calls to them with no return. I have contacted Angie's List and requested a refund.

I was very satisfied. I purchased a deal on Angie's list for 1 hour of electrical work for $64. The electrician arrived on time and was able to check the panel box and wire the cook top within the hour I had purchased with no additional purchase required. He even threw in a couple of small parts that were missing. I would use them again.

I needed an auto-motion detector switch installed on a 3-way circuit. I'd bought the switch & tried to install it myself, but quickly discovered it was beyond my DIY skills. Using the $64 coupon for Quynnlectric was great. It was the best deal offered on Angie's List. There was a bit of a wait to get connected, but we were able to get a date scheduled. On the day of service, the office called to say the workman was about 20 min. away. When I called at the 45 min. point, he had just pulled up. Not sure why there was such a delay, but it didn't conflict with my schedule. I explained/showed Jeremy the work I wanted done and he went right at it. As he worked thru the job, he came & explained that a new wire needed to be run since one switch had "borrowed" a neutral from another source. Not surprising with this house! To run the wire & finish up the job required additional time, so the added cost was $84. Well worth it! After a few days of using the auto switch, we decided we wanted it relocated from the top of the stairway to the bottom. I called to schedule, but they are so booked that I can't get the needed 15 min. service call until after 11/28. So, now I have to look for another electrician. GREAT company. GROWING company. Hope they can hire more employees to fill the need!

Darrell and Jerome arrive on time and pt on shoe covers before they entered my house. The were able to complete the job quickly and were very professional. The company made a follow-up call to me and sent me a thank you card. I would not hesitate to refer my friends as well as to use this company again.

It went great. No complaints. He was punctual and efficient. I would use him again. I have had very bad experiences with other electricians so this was a pleasant surprise. The pricing was better than I usually pay too.

This company was the first company I hired on my first subscription with Angie's list and I can't say enough great stuff about both this company and the previous customers who'd employed them and gave them positive reviews. It was remarkable! After years of using BBB ratings, neighbors recommendations and even online advertising, I signed up for Angie's List because my electrical panel would be inspected during the selling process and I needed it done to code and I needed to also trust that I wouldn't be price gouged. Speaking with Jason on the phone in order to discuss an estimate was only equaled in excellence when Darrell performed the work several days later. Now I have 3 new light fixtures installed, all new panel box breakers, interior light switches, new face plates and all at a special Angie's discounted hourly rate. It doesn't get much better than this. Thank you Quynnlectric and Jason and Darrell. PS: I also hired them back the very next day for an additional job that they were unbelievably available to do since they were at a nearby job site and swung by. They even waived the second service fee! The last time I ever even heard of such generosity was on an old "Leave It To Beaver" episode. So when asked if I would hire Quynnlectric again it's yes - I already did!

Jason was out of town when I initially called him for a bid. He promptly returned my phone to let me know when he would be back n town. Both times - for the bid and the work - he called to let me know he was on his way. His pricing was very good. Both him and his crew were extremely polite and knowledgeable. Jason knows all the electrical codes and made me aware we needed to move our hot tub 5ft away foot from an exterior electrical outlet. He and another worker moved it for us. I was very impressed with their professionalism and more so their attitude. He gave a complete written bid on the spot and followed through with the job exactly as he quoted. I was so impressed with his attitude and work that I gave him a big tip!

Darrell was kind enough to call us when he was on his way. He arrived on time and got right to work! He installed a whole home surge protector. He was in and out in no time. We are very pleased.

We are in a new house, so there were several items that needed to be taken care of. We had two estimates, and the price of Jason's was much less, plus we liked his ideas better. His team worked well together. They were friendly and efficient. I would definitely recomment him.

It went fantastic. Jason and his crew were very professional and down to earth when it came to doing the work. I had just had new carpeting put on the day before and they used shoe covers for the carpet area. They told me what they were doing and Jason informed me that the old ceiling fan that was being replaced was starting to come loose and would have fallen down at some point. He put in a new ceiling box for the replacement ceiling fan. They cleaned up after themselves. He also gave me a name of a drywall person the repair the holes that they had to put in to run the new electrial line for the new ceiling fan in the masterbedroom.

Two staff came out assessed the job and came back the next day and did the work. They were prompt, couteous and cleaned up after the install. The work looks good and worked the first time. I would recommend them for this type of work.

Had Jason come over to run some new wires, install switches and hang a couple of lights in the kitchen. Jason was prompt, very professional and did a great job. We were missing a bracket and Jason was able to get some parts from the store and make everything work out great. Would definitely hire them again in the future.

Excellent job. Mr. Quynn sub-contracted on our furnace/air conditioner installation in December. We were impressed by his professional and friendly demeanor and asked him for an estimate on this electrical job. Because of weather and other factors, this job was not scheduled until 3/22/11. He and his two workers arrived on time, kept the work areas clean, and provided a neat professional result. The inspector found no faults with the work.

I expected a long ugly conduit run from the panel around the house to the kitchen, and a hole in the wall and counter toget it in. Jason was able to discover a crawlspace and ran the wiring through there -- cleaner and cheaper. He did real quality work, arrived on time, was price-competitive, thought the problems out effectively nd did great work. I have used him 3 times, and have been very happy with the results. Strongly recommend.
