It was a problem with the dishwasher.

Gary called me back about 4 minutes after I called him... and I'd called him at 4:56 pm, right before the 5 pm closing time. He asked me a few questions about what was happening with the dishwasher, and then said it could be one of only a few things... one of which was, it's not getting power. He guided me to where the dishwasher was plugged in. I always assumed it plugged in behind the dishwasher -- but it plugs in under the sink. And it wasn't all the way plugged in. That's all it was -- it wasn't plugged in! Gary was so nice to talk to -- not at all condescending, even when it turned out the problem was that it wasn't plugged in! I would use him again in an instant. One note: don't get his business mixed up with Precision Appliance Service (which is actually "The Appliance Man").

He found the problem in a few seconds and didn't charge me for the call. Very pleasant and knowledgeable.

This company doesn't service Samsung, but the person I spoke to gave me some very helpful hints, which worked to fix the unit.

He gave me some advice over the phone and did not charge me for it. I would use them again if needed.

I made an appointment with SEARS appliance repair first. What a MISTAKE!! The first available slot was a week later, which I booked. On the day of the appointment I got a text confirming the service call and a time frame. I took off work and waited. Within the two hour frame when they were supposed to arrive, they left a message that they could not come and conveniently rescheduled me for a date 4 days later. I called, A and E Factory Service, who Sears was using, and complained. They put me on hold for 20 minutes before telling me they couldn't come. I asked to speak with a supervisor, was on hold for 10 minutes before they hung up. Called again with the same outcome. They put me on hold for several minutes and then hung up. Went on Angies List and found Gary at Perfection Appliance. I left a message. He called back immediately, and asked me to explain the problem. He asked for the model # to see if it was worth it to replace the part. He scheduled me for Monday, called me that morning to tell me the exact time. He arrived on time, in a snowstorm, and quickly fixed my dryer. He said that sometimes there is another part that needs to be replaced to advance the cycle, but he thought it was fine. If not, he would return with no added service charge, and replace the part, for only the cost of the part. He did not want to replace a part if it was not necessary. Gary is very professional, pleasant, and competent. Without hesitation I would use him again. It is refreshing to find someone who is honest, professional, and has a great work ethic.

Gary is so nice, extremely polite and professional. He called first thing in the morning to let me know what time he would be arriving. He always arrived when he said he would. My oven was broken and unfortunately the part isn't made anymore. Gary found a place to send the broken element to and have it rebuilt, saving us having to buy a new stove/oven. I highly recommend Gary and would absolutely hire him again.

I recently had a problem with both my ice maker and dishwasher. After doing a variety of due diligence, I settled on Perfection Appliance. Gary responded to my e-mail the morning after I sent it. The day of the appointment, he called with a specific time. He was prompt, professional and courteous. He took time to explain his procedures in determining both issues. In each case he started with the most minimal as to cost and time. He felt confident that he quickly had determined the cause of both issues. Its now been 10 days since Gary was here. Both the ice maker and the dishwasher continue to perform flawlessly. It is without reservation that I would contact Gary on future appliance repairs. I am an extremely satisfied customer.

Gary talked to me over the phone first to get an idea of what was going on with my oven. Then came out the next day with the part and got it working. Such a nice guy and very professional. Cost was great and I'm so happy that I didn't have to purchase a new stove, which was going to be very pricey. I highly recommend Gary for appliance repairs . His phone number is going on my frig for future repairs.

Gary is awesome. Super responsive - came the first time and looked it all over and realized we'd need a computer part to fix the issue. Told us he'd have to track it down and come back, but called later that same day and had found what he needed, so was back that same week. Easy to talk to and honest, which we really appreciated. We would use him again in a heartbeat for any appliance repair.

From the very first phone call I was impressed. He tried to walk me through fixing it myself. Unfortunately, it wasn't anything simple. He called an hour before my scheduled appointment and said he could come early if it was ok. He arrived a few minutes later, quickly diagnosed the problem, and began the search for the part. He found the part and arrived in the afternoon when he said he would. Didn't take him long to replace the part. He then ran the washer through a couple of cycles to make sure it was working. Neat, professional, punctual, knowledgeable. Gary also had a great sense of humor. I will definitely use his service again when the need arises. Very impressed. No wonder he has an A+ rating with the BBB.

Provider did not respond to my email on their web site either by phone or by email. If he's so busy he can't call or email he doesn't need my business

We were having an issue with our washing machine. I called Perfection Appliance to schedule an appointment for them to diagnose the issue and provide an estimate for repairs ($55 service charge for an estimate, per their Angie's List description). When Gary returned my call, he had me describe the issue, and based on my description was able to diagnose our problem (bad rear bearing), let me know what the work would entail (replacing the whole outer tub assembly), and give me an estimate on what the repair costs would likely be ($400-600). Based on this, we both agreed that replacing the washer was the best solution. His responsiveness in returning my call and willingness to diagnose it over the phone saved us both time, and saved me $55 that can go towards our new washer.

Gary arrived early for the scheduled appointment and quickly determined why the spin cycle wasn't working in my Electrolux washer. The water discharge hose was clogged with lots of gross debris that looked like soggy blanket fuzz and dog hair. He had to nearly disassemble the entire washer to get to the problem, but in less than an hour, it was working as good as new again. I will absolutely recommend him to my family and friends. Gary is very knowledgeable and patiently answered all my many questions. He did a first class job and I sincerely appreciate it.

It worked! I turned off the breaker for 10 min. and then ran the dishwasher, which it did for a full cycle, finally. Thank you, Garry. Your over the phone assistance paid for our Angie's List subscription! Blessings.

He was wonderful. I'd have him come out in a minute, he is top-notch. I've got to have him come out and fix my stove. He did a good job and he was a nice guy. I think it's to much money. He got here when he said he would.

My dryer was working but it was making some heinous whinging and grinding sounds. I bought a replacement belt online but made little progress myself in getting to the old one. Gary came out, Right on time. He called me in the morning with a time window (11-1) and arrived at 11:27 He was in and out and it was a very pleasant experience. He is a great communicator and very organized. I would definelty try to get him again if something else goes wrong that I can't fix myself.

Gary was great - he called me right back after I had left a voice mail and asked a few questions about what was going on, what the make/model was, and when would be a good time for him to make a service call. He explained his pricing very clearly, and was able to come to our home within 36 hours. He arrived on time, took care of the problem and put everything back as he found it. I would definitely call on Gary again for any future issues!

He was good. He was quick and came out the next day. He was very efficient and very friendly. His timeliness was great.

He had a great personality, and was just fun to be around and talk with. I enjoyed his presence.

Gary was prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. He was right on time with calling and for appointment. I knew the element was the problem because I saw it go out so I gave him model number of the stove. He was able to replace it and it went fast. The oven works great now. His charges were very reasonable and his optimistic attitude another plus.

I appreciated his honesty. He could have told me he would repair my old stove and charged me more than it was worth.

My dryer died on Sunday evening; Gary told me that he could get to the house by Tuesday morning early. He arrived earlier than he expected, which was great for me, and was done in 40 minutes. He explained why he replaced only the fuse and said that the service call had a 30-day warranty so if the problem was larger than the fuse, he'd come back out and fix it for just the price of the new part. I was impressed with the fact that he didn't try and up-sell me a part that perhaps I really didn't need and I will definitely call him again.
