They have done an excellent job. We have been very pleased so far. They have been very prompt and professional, and their prices are reasonable. They do quality work, and we would certainly use them again.
Description of Work: They removed and replaced some siding that was damaged in a hail storm this summer. They are prepping the wood and replacing the board and batting, as well as a lot of priming before the painting begins.

Overall, Rob and his crew did a very professional job. We were very pleased. Rob was very punctual in getting us a bid and completed the job in a very timely fashion. We had the bid on Sunday evening and he was out doing the work on Monday morning. His workers were friendly and cleaned up after all work. They did a very professional job. My wife and I generally do our own painting, but got behind this time and thought we would get a bid on the job. We felt the bid was reasonable given the job and accepted his offer. I would highly recommend Rob and his company. I would definitely use him again.
Description of Work: I had asked Finishing Touch to power wash the house, stain my cedar house with Penofin, stain and paint the two decks, and paint the trim on the house. I did provide the stain and the paint.

Trim work extremely poor with many obvious coverage gaps, shortcuts around window pulls and electrical outlets, paint on windows; additionally clearly did not look like 2 coats promised. Pulled ceiling paint off in all three rooms where painted walls met ceiling, I believe due to inappropriate adhesive and caulking of border. Did not provide matching paint repair, thus ceiling patches are obvious as well. Terrible control of paint chips and spatters, I had to vacuum everywhere several times to get chips up. Colors (from color consultation) did not turn out as expected.
Description of Work: Painted walls of three rooms and trim of another. Promised 15 year + experienced painter, but job done only by owner and 15 year old son who was inexperienced.

They did a beautiful job and there were a couple of set backs: for 2 days, the water had been turned off unexpectedly by my complex so they struggled with that, bringing their own on the second day so they could clean up. There were areas I should have put in the contract but didn't but that was my own fault so they did everything they were supposed to. It was very professional and they made sure everything was covered with plastic all the time. They cleaned up after themselves, and even discovered I had a spider problem when the shop vac they used stirred the critters up. Terry said that except for a small area in the living room, there were no problems underneath the "popcorn" so that was a major blessing. The colors came out darker than I was expecting but when I tested the lighter versions of the colors, they were too light and barely showed so I preferred the final product.
Description of Work: I searched a long time to find someone, not only to paint most of the interior of a 950 sq.ft. townhouse but also to remove the "popcorn" ceilings in all the rooms and common areas. I had received several estimates that were extremely high. I saw Finishing Touch's ad in Angie's List magazine and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw they listed popcorn ceiling removal as one of their specialties! When I spoke with Robert of F.T., he stated that no one likes to do it and that was why those estimates were so high. He said the reason why is because you never know what you will find underneath. Anyway, I was in no real hurry and finally set a Sept. date. Terry and his assistant (forgot his name) did a living-dining area, 2 bedrooms, hallways, and stairway/loft area, as well as priming and painting 5 doors I had been told were "unpaintable". I had previously painted the kitchen and bath myself (no ceiling work needed there). It took 8 days to do everything.

I had 3 companies come by for estimates. Robert, the owner, not only came in with the lowest estimate, the quickest time estimate, and he was also open to doing the work the way I wanted it done. For example, I didn't want spraying done, since I'm currently living in the house. One of the other companies insisted that they had to spray EVERYTHING, and would not do the casements. The other company said he would take 3 times longer to complete the job. Robert communicated effectively, showed up on time, and his team completed the job 2 days ahead of schedule. In addition, at the last minute, I added 4 additional colors, and asked for some additional trim work. This was all completed well within the quoted time, and even with the extra work, the job was only $200 more than the original quote. I have already asked them to put me on the schedule for some follow up fence staining work.
Description of Work: Painted the entire interior of the house, touched up some exterior trim, and replaced and stained all interior door casements.

Excellent! Everything was done on time and with superior workmanship. They made sure that our plants were properly protected and there was no overspray. We looked long and hard to find the right company to do this work. Finishing Touch had the best price and best quality. A top of the line painting company is hard to find. Use Finishing Touch. You won't be sorry. Their quality is tops and their pricing is extremely competitive. I got a number of quotes are this job and several of them were twice as high. Rob and Betty are the best!
