After being more than a year past schedule, Nelson showed up one day asking for more than 30k dollars, despite being paid almost 40k dollars up front. The contract stated that the remainder be paid at the completion of foundation, and he has never finished the dirt work. He hasn’t even delivered everything for the building to be completed. Don’t make the same mistake I did, by trusting Nelson.

Advantage Designs did an excellent job. They were a pleasure to work with. Nelson, owner, was very knowledgable in discussing my options and providing recommendations throughout the process. His bid was fair and he was easily the most responsive to my needs. He set a date that worked with my schedule and even arrived a couple days early, after getting my approval. He told me exactly what was going to happen and when it would happen during the three week process. The most difficult decision we had once we decided to use stucco was choosing the color. Nelson's designer, Marti, was VERY helpful. She spent several hours with us looking at color samples and driving around neighborhoods to confirm our color choice and texture. It was nice to have a professional eye help with this decision. We relied on her experience greatly. We used Nelson's painter to paint our facia and soffits. Jack Plumpton, owner of Creative Walls, did an excellent job coordinating with Nelson and completing the job on time and in budget. I even asked Jack to do some extra painting and his bid was fair and the work was very good. Nelson's crew who set the scaffolding, applied the paper, wire, base coat, final coat and cleaned up were the best. It was the same group of guys doing all these tasks. It was apparent that they took pride in their work and often asked if I was satisfied with the work as they progressed. Martine, Martele and Jerry were real pros. They were very polite and obviously knew what they were doing. We are thrilled with the final product and would definitely use the services of Advantage Designs again.
